“My 5 month old puppy had 2 wonderful days with Madeleine and her boyfriend. Madeleine was very attentive and had a lot of interest in training with Karla which is so important especially while they’re puppies. Karla was so tired both nights when she got home, so I think she had a good time and Madeleine really managed to tire her out. Will for sure book Madeleine again when I need someone to look after Karla. Thank you 🐶❤️”

Om: I've had a dog in my life since I was a child. First a dachshund, and these days a rescue mix who looks a lot like a corgi. He lives with my parents now, so my home is quiet and there are no other pets around. If your dog is nervous with other dogs, or you'd just rather they had someone's full attention, that suits them well. - I work from home during the week, so your dog won't be on their own all day. My place is cage-free, and they're welcome on the sofa if that's what they're used to. - A normal day here looks like this. A proper walk in the morning, then most dogs pick a spot near me and sleep while I work. A shorter walk around lunch, time outside in the afternoon, and a long walk in the evening before bed. I keep the same food and the same schedule you already use at home. Dogs settle much faster when as little as possible changes. - You'll get photos and a message from me every day. If anything comes up I'll tell you straight away, and I answer messages quickly. - Puppies are welcome, and so are senior dogs and dogs who need medication with their meals. If you have two, they can stay together. - I've been dog sitting for my neighbours here in Copenhagen for a few years now. Overnight stays, walks, feeding, and the occasional last-minute rescue when someone's plans fell through. - I live in a ground-floor flat with a small garden right outside the door. It isn't fenced, so dogs always go out there on a lead with me, never off it. What it does mean is that we can be outside in about ten seconds, first thing in the morning and last thing at night, without stairs or a lift. For older dogs and for puppies who are still learning, that makes a real difference. - We're lucky with the area too. There's a dog beach a short walk away, along with green space and a proper beach. If your dog likes water, they'll get plenty of it. And if their recall is good and you're happy for it, the dog beach is somewhere they can be off-lead and really stretch their legs. If you'd rather they stayed on the lead, that's completely fine, just tell me. - I'd really like to meet before you book. We can go for a walk together, and your dog gets to see the place first without a suitcase in the hallway. --- Jeg er ved at lære dansk, men vi kommunikerer nemmest på engelsk. Jeg svarer altid hurtigt, og du får et billede og en besked hver dag 😊 I work from home during the week, so I'm here for most of the day. Your dog isn't sitting alone waiting for someone to come back. - The day starts with a proper walk before I sit down to work. There's a shorter walk around lunch, time out in the garden through the afternoon, and a longer walk in the evening, usually down to the dog beach. One last trip outside before bed. - Weekends are slower and mean longer walks and more time by the water. I take one booking at a time, unless the pets come from the same family, so nobody is competing for attention. - If your pet needs a different rhythm, I'll follow yours instead of mine. Meals at set times, medication with food, a midday nap, or shorter and more frequent walks for an older dog. Just tell me what they're used to and that's what we'll do. I'm on the ground floor, so we're outside in seconds, no stairs and no lift. The little garden by my door isn't fenced, so dogs go out there on a lead with me every single time, never off it. I'd rather be boring about that than take a chance. - Inside, my home is cage-free and quiet, and there are no other pets. My own dog lives with my parents now, so your pet has the whole place and my full attention. Sofa and bed are up to you, just tell me what the rules are at home and I'll keep them. - Before your pet arrives I move anything chewable out of reach, put the bins away and check the windows. With cats I'm careful about windows and the balcony door, and I always know where they are before I open anything. - I'll have your vet's details and an emergency contact saved before the stay starts, and I know where the nearest clinic is. If something seems off, you'll hear from me straight away rather than at the end of the day. - When I'm looking after a pet in your home, I treat it exactly as I found it. I stick to your instructions, I don't bring anyone with me, and I'll send you a photo each visit so you can see for yourself.

“Adam has helped me twice now taking care of my dog, and when we came back for the second time, she already greeted him enthusiastically. There has been very good communication throughout, including with Adam sending me updates and photos throughout the day. Even though my dog is younger and can be a bit shy, she clearly enjoys her time with him. Highly recommended!”

Om: Min primære erfaring er ved hunde fra 8 uger til 10 år. Herunder træning i form af apportering, lydighed, snortræning, at gå pænt og selvfølgelig en masse leg og nusning. Jeg er meget opmærksom på hundens behov og struktur i hverdagen, hvornår den skal have gåtur, mad osv. Jeg har erfaring med mange forskellige racer, og passer jævnligt naboens mops, min venindes gadekryds og mine svigerforældres labrador og gravhund. Jeg er pt. arbejdsløs, så har derfor masser af tid til døgnpasning, gåture og drop-in besøg. Hverdage og weekender fra kl. 11, jeg er fleksibel ift. tider, både hverdage og weekend, og også aften/sen aften. Jeg bor i lejlighed på 4. sal med en stor altan. I mit nærområde ligger Utterslev Mose, hvor der både er store grønne områder med skov, græs og stier, samt indhegnet hundegård til leg uden snor og evt. med andre hunde. Der er hverken børn eller andre dyr i husstanden (undtaget min leopard gekko der er i terrarie), så din firbenede (eller trebenede) ven vil få fuld opmærksomhed.

Om: Jeg er vokset op med både hund og kat og elsker at være sammen med begge. Har haft Schæferhund selv så er vant til store hunde og hun var ikke specielt god i snor så stor erfaring med det også. As a student I am quite available and flexible. I am open to watching dogs either in their own homes or in my apartment, which is overall quite spacious and has good space for your pet to explore and feel home in. I myself had a needy and skittish dog growing up, so I truly understand the importance of being patient and open when a dog is getting to know you. I have watched various of my friends’ dogs and pets, and have been around animals my whole life.

I have had pets since I was young and we had our own beloved dog, Poppy, with us for 17 years until she died a few years ago. My 11-year-old and I are experienced with dogs from puppies to seniors and often pet-sit for friends. I know from personal experience how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when you are leaving town and we will give them a comfortable and loving home until you return.
