Therefore, I lead with an empathetic approach, where I strive to meet animals where they are at, while also providing the best possible care. It is also my priority to make sure your expectations as an owner are met, so I look forward to discussing these details with you beforehand. My experience: Beyond my passion for animal welfare, what truly sets me apart from other sitters is my professional experience working as a pet caregiver. I have previously worked as an employee for two different petcare companies, where I received training and certification on pet behavior, pet care and first aid. My positions allowed me to carry out various petcare services, such as dog walking, pet sitting, overnight stays, developing individualized pet behavior plans, and administering medications (oral and injections). During my employment, I worked primarily with dogs and cats, but also occasionally with exotic birds, chickens, and rodents. This experience allowed me to work with many different pets, ranging from newborn puppies and kittens, to disabled and/or senior pets (some of who are pictured above). Beyond my professional experience working with pets, I have also been caring for the pets of several family and friends since I was a teenager. Additionally, I have spent years volunteering for several animal rescue organizations, including a dog/cat adoption center, an exotic bird sanctuary, and a farm animal sanctuary in Ireland. In these roles, I worked directly with pets and animals to help rehabiltiate them and find them forever homes. I have truly enjoyed my work in the previously described positions, and would be more than happy to further discuss my qualifications with you :)

Kendall was amazing. She watched our two chihuahuas for a long weekend and showed them so much affection, care and kept in very close contact. Highly recommended and will use her again!
World champ sitter! Kendall has shown us and our cats so much love! She is so careful with the assistants Buster is required and has handled the hole situation perfectly (medicin and bandage changing)! The communication is amazing, and she is so nursing, calm and respectful to both the apartment, the cats and us 🌸 We will highly recommend Kendall as a sitter. It’s been a pleasure and we will for sure use Kendall as a sitter again! 🌸
We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Kendall was attentive, caring, and genuinely loving toward Zaia and made it very obvious she felt the same way. Kendall was an absolute angel! She took care of my kitty baby while I had a work trip:) she sent me daily updates and called me whenever she had a question about Lilly bear(my kitty). My kitty bby loves kendall so much and it makes me happy to know she’s in loving hands. I will be asking Kendall to watch her every time I’m out of town from now on.
Kendall walked and sat for my two golden retrievers in Sacramento. They can tend to get hot in the sun,especially in summer, and Kendall was great at balancing keeping them comfortable and getting them some great exercise. When she stayed in my home she always left it cleaner than she found it. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a trusted and responsible caregiver.

Schedule
I currently have a very flexible schedule, as I am transitioning between being a student. Therefore, I welcome pet care at most days and hours of the week.

Safety, trust & environment
My home: I live in a 3 bedroom, ground floor apartment with my partner. We enjoy direct access to a private garden, so your pet will have a private space to be outside. Our garden is not fully gated, so I will always be with your pet when they go outside. I also live directly next to a dog park, and would be more than happy to take your pet there. I am comfortable with pets being on the furniture and/or bed in our home, but I also welcome crates or beds. If you are interested in being a long term client, I would be more than happy to keep a crate and/or bed here for you. Your home: As I've mentioned, I hold previous experience visiting and staying overnight at clients homes. I fully recognize that I am a guest entering your home, and it is a priority of mine to leave your space just as I found it. I am diligent and thorough with following the schedule you set for your pet and I will always work to prioritize this to the highest extent throughout my stay.
A typical day
In a typical day, I will take your pet out first thing in the morning in our private garden. Then, we can head out for a long walk around the neighborhood, with big lakes and quiet areas for your dog to explore. If you have a larger breed or your pet needs extra excersise, I am certainly open to taking them running. I also live next to a dog park, so this provides an opportunity for your pet to engage with other pets, if you desire. I am also a big believer in enrichment activities, and would love to provide this for your pet. This can look like hide and seek with toys, scattering small treats in the garden for your pet to find, or just playing with your pet using their favorite toys. I understand that all pets have different interests depending on breed and personality, so we can work out a plan together :)
