I have three dogs of my own and keep other dogs also here on Rover. There will always be a house full of dogs and barking. I utilize kennels at night and when i leave the house for events and shopping. I work from home so those times are not long in duration. We're currently living in a small, quiet neighborhood just north of Memphis. Our house boasts a spacious backyard, with a gated enclosure for introducing new pets safely! We also have easy access to a patch of forest near our house, multiple small parks, and dog-friendly venues and restaurants! Aside from the usual necessities that every pet needs (food, water, and toys), our home is equipped with a variety of kennels, a secure dog bedroom, two litter boxes, and security cameras to ensure that no pets go unsupervised for too long. Our personal pet family consists of a 2yr old mixed-breed dog, adorable Dutch Shepherd puppy, two playful DSH cats, and two reptiles that live in terrariums. I'm a stay-at-home husband working around the clock to keep the house tidy, so your pets will have 24/7 care and affection! Dogs will receive bathroom breaks every 3 hours, supervised playtime in the morning and afternoon, as well as breakfast and dinner if they stay overnight. If your dog is allowed on furniture, let me know ahead of time and they can watch TV with us on the couch or snuggle up in bed! When I'm not at home, I will be helping my wife train dogs, running errands, or dropping into a client's home to look after their pet. We live in a cozy house with a spacious fenced-in backyard. Dog boarders will be able to play, run around outside, and spend quality time with us during the day. Cat boarders will have their own space to roam on the other side of the house, away from barking or loud noises. All dogs are kept separated in kennels while unsupervised, to minimize accidents and discourage bad behavior. We have experience mitigating and deescalating aggressive pet situations, so your dogs will receive top notch protection and security.

About: Hi, I’m Kristen (I go by my middle name, Lauren)! I’ve been around animals before I started walking. I contribute my love of animals to my mother, who couldn’t hurt a fly. I’ve had my own animals since I was 20 years old. I work alongside my local animal shelter and have fostered for them for the last 4 years. I am also on the board of a nonprofit (Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter) that helps animals in our community. I have experience with dogs of all ages and most breeds. I also have a 5 year old Catahoula that was born deaf and partially blind, so I have experience with dogs with disabilities as well. I currently work full time Monday-Friday but have a flexible schedule and can work from home most days. If I had to go into work, the most your pet would be left alone would be from 8-4:30. I have a fenced in, huge, backyard. I live in a friendly neighborhood, where I know all of our neighbors. I have 2 very friendly dogs and 2 cats, all of which are extremely dog friendly and are used to having foster dogs coming in and out. If your dog is crate trained and you prefer me to also use them, I have plenty of all sizes. I also have the space to contain my cats, if needed.

About: Since I was 12 I’ve cared for the family pets, including dogs, cats, birds and fish. My friends have trusted me with their pups while away on vacation and their feline pets too. I’m currently working from home, From 8am to 5pm. So I do have a lot of time throughout the day and weekends. This part time job would be just perfect for me. I have fence patio with grass, I live in a townhome so I do have enough space. There’s also a lot of grass around my complex where I can take them for walks.

About: As a previous veterinary technician, I am skilled in handling "difficult" animals and animals with medical needs. As a current employee at the Zoo, I am also skilled in caring for "cold-blooded" companions (non venomous). I work full time during the weekdays, so I am available during early mornings and after 6pm. I am not available to check in on animals during my lunch break unless they are within close proximity to my full time job. During the weekends I am free at all hours of the day. About: I’ve worked in a dog boarding place for 3 years. The dogs love me! Their is this one dog who shy but when I come around he opens up, it’s such a warm feeling. My family relies on me to watch their animals. They have a cat who is diabetic so they heavily rely on me to give him his shot at the correct times. I have grown up with animals my whole life. I’ll be working part time while in college. So this works perfectly. I want this to be my only job while in school so therefore I can spend more time playing and loving on your fur babies. I can check on dogs before and after school. Usually I’ll have class 2 days out of the week. I have 3 dogs of my own so you can put all your trust into me. I am a BIG animal lover. About: I’m usually the first to be called if a friend needs their pet taken care of should they leave town. Animals are a huge passion of mine and honestly, I just love to be around them. I’ve even taken care of turtles several weeks at a time. Cats, dogs, hamsters to horses( I have been taking care of 3 for 3 years now) there’s not really any animal I can’t take care of. I recently quit my job as a facility director, so my days are wide open. I very much needed a change of pace and decided to do something I love. I have 13 acres and 3 horses. Friends love to bring their dogs out to run around. I also love to have company for my dog, Jeff. She’s 10, but still has the energy of a 3 year old. About: I worked at an animal hospital for almost 2 yrs.I took care of cats dogs and of course puppies! Helped administer medications and shots when needed bathing and grooming including ear cleaning and nail trims. After that I worked for an animal rescue taking care of dogs puppies and cats. I worked in the vet/rescue for 3 years. I also helped transport dogs puppies and cats to different rescues all across the United States! Once they were dropped off at their new location they got to be adopted into their forever home! While working with the rescue I helped train the animals and teach them tricks and other things to make sure they were ready to be adopted I have experience in giving medications and special needs dogs as well! I also have experience in taking care of senior dogs and cats and I’ve even helped potty train the ones that needed it and helped them understand when to tell their person when they have to go I’ve trained dogs on leash and how to walk beside you off leash and not run away. Dogs and cats are my spirit animals 🥰 I work full-time I still have plenty of time to take your babies on long walks, playing ball, going to the park to play if permitted.
