About: I treat every pet like family. I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe, loved, and understood while you're away. I'm not just here to check a box—I genuinely enjoy bonding with animals and making sure their tails keep wagging! Whether it’s going the extra mile for a nervous pup or making sure a senior pet gets their meds on time, I show up with care, patience, and a big heart. You'll get regular updates and pictures so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Over the summer we have 24/7 care in our home. Once school starts I will only be available weekends, however I do have other people in my home to accommodate requests as needed. I have a fenced in yard and space for a crate in my home. I work to make sure the environment is clean and suits the needs of your pet.

About: Hi there! I'm Danae - Your Pet's New Best Friend 🐾 Animals have always held a special place in my heart. With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and other furry companions, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely loving to look after your pet. Whether it's long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or just some comforting company while you're away, I'm here to give your pet the care and attention they deserve. I provide personalized, safe, and loving care – just like they’d get at home. I'm also comfortable administering medication, handling special diets, and supporting pets with unique needs. If you need a weekly schedule I would be more than happy to find a time that works for both me and your fur baby! I have two dogs who love to run around and play. I'd prefer to stay at the customers house to take care of the dog.

About: I'd like to start by saying I am located in Whiteside County for the time being. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!!! Take a look at my reviews also for extra confidence. If you choose me your fur babies will be in good hands! <3 I'm flexible as I work from home. Right now over the summer I'm only accepting smaller dogs, two a day -only- (I have a few dogs myself). As long as your dogs get along with others and like children we should be good 👌 I prefer to do drop ins and right now I'm not able to stay over night in anyone's home so I apologize in advance. I have a smaller fenced area and a huge yard. I also have dogs of my own so lots of friends to be made! My dogs are the friendliest dogs and have plenty of experience with other animals. :)

Estefanny knows her stuff around dogs! She handles my Dog Coco very well and she follows through all the instructions as discussed. She has been good with communicating her time and her schedule. I found her at the very last minute a night before I needed a walker, and she agreed to take on the responsibility. I would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter for you!

About: My boyfriend and I have always had animals in our lives. Growing up he lived on a farm with dogs, cats, goats, pigs etc. and I have had dogs and cats my whole life. We currently have 2 beautiful Great Danes, a bunch of rabbits, outside kitties, and 3 chinchillas! Our dogs love people, small animals, and would love a bigger dog to run around with. We would love to cuddle with your fur babies, go for walks, or just play in the fenced yard! With summer coming up we know that it’s going to be vacation time, you deserve to be able to enjoy and relax on vacation while knowing your animals are well taken care of. Me and my boyfriend work mornings and get lunch breaks half way through, so we’d be able to check on your animals even while working and we can be with them all afternoon. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we are both off so they’d get us all day! We have a 2 story house with lots of room for them to lay around and have their own space if needed. We also have a large backyard that is fenced off already for our dogs.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
