About: Since I began offering my services, I have taken care of various dogs with various needs. The safety and happiness of each animal are my top priorities, and there is no job too big or small. I have experience with young pups, kittens, and senior animals, and I love them all the same. Medication, special diets, and niche rituals are no problem for me, and I can ensure this will be your pet's home away from home. I recently graduated from college and am home most of the day while I search for a career post-grad and conduct freelance work online. I will have plenty of time for walks, outside enrichment, and playtime to ensure your pet is well cared for. I have a large, fenced-in yard perfect for playing fetch or relaxing sunbathing. I do not have pets, so any animal boarding in my home would receive all of my attention (and all the belly rubs and ear scratches). My neighborhood is quiet and low-traffic, perfect for long walks. Pets are allowed on all furniture, and I have plenty of room if your pet requires a crate.

About: When I was younger, I used to volunteer at Pet Refuge during the summer. It was one of my favorite things to do. I have been around and taken care of dogs my whole life whether it was the dogs in my home or friend’s and family’s homes. I am a full-time college student right now, although I do online. I currently do not have any other jobs as I just recently moved to Louisiana. Therefore I am available basically at any time to take care and play with your pets! I will care for pets in my clients home by following their routines closely for their pets in order to maintain minimal disruption. I will respect their home by cleaning up messes and maintaining order. Lastly, communicating updates to the owner, especially for health concerns is very important.

About: Hi We are Abby and Will. We moved to Louisiana less than a year ago. We do not have any pets yet, so your pet will have our undivided attention. We both grew up with animals and wouldn’t have it any other way. Being around animals makes us happy and you can have two pet sitters for the price of one! We both work full time jobs but have flexible schedules. I (Abby) get off work most days at 3pm and have open availability on the weekend. Will is free on the weekends as well and is periodically free during the day. We communicate well and will make sure your pet is taken care of! Our house is located in a peaceful neighborhood. We love to go for walks and our house has a fenced in backyard with a doggy door. We’re both up early and can make sure your fur baby is fed and walked if needed. Our philosophy is to treat people’s pets with love, respect, and kindness.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. About: I’m an experienced Kennel and Vet Assistant. I have the experience to take the extra care that a flat faced dog needs and how to bathe them with care. I also have the experience with senior dogs and take gentle care of their brittle bones. I have experience with taking care of dogs that are big and know that they are gentle giants. No need to worry if your dog has medication I also have experience in giving your babies their meds when needed and how to give it as prescribed. I am currently not working so I have all the time to take care of your beautiful babies when you’re hard at work. I’m available during your work hours and during the weekend if needed. In my home I can take your dog out for a walk and potty breaks. My apartment complex is animal friendly with a lot of space to play. You can be sure to know that your animal is safe with me if they need to have medication given to them. In your home you can rest assured that your dog will have the same routine and never be bored. I’ll make sure to give them ample play time and potty breaks.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs that belonged to my family as well as some friends, where I enjoyed walking, feeding, and playing with each pet. I also have helped some with a friend’s pet grooming service. I’ve always loved dogs and have a strong passion for caring for them. I work a part time job, which is scheduled mostly at night so I will have plenty of time during the day to care for your pets! My house is very pet friendly, but my yard does not have a fence. However I do not mind taking pets outside whenever they need to, and I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking!

About: Always home and available to take care of pets with ample designated space inside and outside. Made for any kind of heat or rain. Always happy to drive pets to dog park. I am a full time online student and enjoy being home. Love pets so much and will have an eye of pets at all times. More than enough toys and zero chewing hazards at reach. There is an open space inside and a covered shaded open area with small patch of grass connected to the home. I am home 24/7 and will watch pets constantly. Any errands that need to be run the pets will be watched constantly.

About: I love cats and dogs of all sizes but am most comfortable with cats and small dogs! I can accommodate any needs for cats owners! I pet sit weekly and am looking to add a few more clients into my book and schedule! Let me know your needs and I’ll let you know my availability! If you’d like me to water plants I can do that too! Haha but I am comfortable with staying in your home if needed and preferred!

About: I grew up with three dogs. Dooh-Dah, our little basset hound, Katie Blue, my blue tick hound, and Buster, our now 7 year old Beagle. They were full of energy, but when it was nap time for them, it was nap time for the whole house. I began walking them for fun when I was 8, and little did I know that 10 years later, I would find a passion for volunteering. I spend my weekends volunteering at cat shelters, dog shelters, and combined ones. Knowing that these animals have someone to rely on is what motivates me. Also, I'm a cuddly person and dogs just understand that. I got to work adoption events by myself, which included the transportation and maintenance of animals in an unfortunately stressful environment for them (Pet smart). I'm a good socializer for cats and dogs, and I can spend hours just petting them! I currently work full time in Shreveport but am available for walking past 5 pm on most weekdays. I have holiday availability as well! On the weekends I am fully available unless otherwise marked on my calendar. We currently have 4 cats (3 adopted, 1 found in the trash where I worked previously.) They love playing with strings and crunchy toys, and are very active. We brush them once a week and try to keep up with trimming their nails, but they sharpen them on their cat trees almost immediately afterwards. For clients, if I am dog walking/sitting, I'll walk them for long periods of time (45 minutes to an hour). I have my own poop bags and a traveling water bowl that I bring if your dog enjoys long walks. If your dog just likes to run around your yard, I'll spend lots of time playing with them and getting that energy out. Admittedly, I am a cat person, but I love dogs and love walking other people's dogs. Getting to meet different breeds and having some puppy therapy is always fun.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: I’ve helped raise 6 different dogs over the years, including 2 Aussie mixes, a blue heeler, a German shepherd mix, a corgie mix, and a golden retriever mix named Sampson, Sydney, Jericho, Freyja, Esther, and Luna in that order! I currently work full time at Barksdale AFB 7am-3pm, so my schedule will mostly revolve around late afternoon into the evening and night. I’m available some weekends, but if you schedule early enough I should be able to book you Saturday and Sundays for full days if needed! My goal while sitting clients pets is to make them as loved and comfortable as possible! Frequent walks and trips to the dog park are an essential, I’ll even walk your cat if you request! My extensive experience keeps me comfortable around all sorts of dogs so long as they’re not overly aggressive. A level head keeps the dog calm and shows you’re there to help care for them!

About: I have had the privilege of having been able to care for my two best buds since they were pups for the past 14 years. Buddy, a shitzhu, and Zeus, a pitbull, were inseparable. We have been through potty training, teething, the woes of senior dog care, and the heartbreaking finality of letting them cross over the rainbow bridge. I wouldn't trade my time with them for anything. I feel confident your furbabies will have a great time in my care and have no doubt in my ability to care for them! We will be the best amigos! I work full time but my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to work from home if needed and pop in for whatever needs your pups will need. I'll have cameras in the living area to make sure they are happy and content when I am not home and have a fenced in yard to allow them to play safely. I have a fenced in yard and have crates as well as gates that can be setup for their safe areas. A camera will also be set up for monitoring when I am not home.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a fenced in yard and plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play!
