“Brittany was an awesome pet sitter! She took great care of my cat, while I was out of town for the week. She was great at keeping me up-to date on waffles and sent many pictures. I would definitely rebook in the future, as it seemed my cat was comfortable as she came out of her hiding spot many times, which is unusual for her with new people.”

“Brandy was great! Checked in on my pup when she said she would, fed her, and gave her play time outside. She gave ne the confidence to enjoy myself celebrating family knowing Charlie was well taken care of and happy! She was available last minute which was great!”

About: Hi! I’m a full-time healthcare worker and college student with a lifelong love for animals. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, including senior pets and those who need medication or extra attention. Whether your pet wants to play, go for a walk, or just relax with a new friend, I’ll make sure they receive the care and affection they deserve. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in good hands. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work full-time in healthcare during the day, which has helped me become responsible, dependable, and comfortable following detailed care instructions. I’m available most evenings after 5:00 PM and on weekends for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and companionship. I treat my pets like family. They have automatic feeders and water fountains, clean litter boxes, regular grooming, quality food, and plenty of love and attention. I stay on top of their health, routines, and any special needs to make sure they’re happy, healthy, and comfortable every day. 🐾❤️

About: I’m Alex and I currently have one pitbull so I am A 24/7 dog mom! I love hiking and being out in nature. I have a high energy personality that is perfect for wearing any pup out. Growing up my parents owned dogs of all sizes and personalities (Dalmatian, Akitas, border collie, and jack russel) I love the Lower Allen dog park and would gladly take any dogs there with permission! My previous rescue pit had an abusive past which sadly caused some behavioral issues. Due to that I am more than comfortable watching any dogs that may be a little rough around the edges. I have no problem giving any daily medication needed. I’m just a fun loving dog owner who would love to give your dog wonderful care and attention! I am a stay at home mom so my days are pretty open. I also have access to flexible free child care through grandparents so I don’t have to have my child with me during any dog visits or stays. This allows me to be able to work with your needs! I’m available for caring overnight in your home where your pup is most comfortable! Lots of attention and if they’re allowed in the bed or on the couch they’ll be right there next to me. I am not currently available to be hosting animals at my own home.
“We were so happy have Becky as our pup sitter again while we were away for a weekend! She is responsible, flexible, and communicative. She takes great care of your pet and send lots of photos to keep you updated. It is clear that she loves animals. We definitely recommend Becky for your Rover sitter.”

“This was my first time using Rover. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service that Krista provided. She gave me updates on Fred with every drop in visit (which was super cute). Fred really liked Krista!! I will definitely use her again the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Tammi is lovely she took great care of Callie during her visits, filled out the report card and left purposefully feedback and photos too! 10/10. I would not hesitate to rebook when needed. Thanks again Tammi for all your care and being you!”

I love to serve all those around me and help to make their lives simpler and less stressful I am a graduate physical therapy student at Messiah University with a predictable class schedule. I am available most mornings, evenings, and lunchtime hours for dog walks or quick let out visits so your dog can get outside and stay comfortable. My current housing does not allow me to keep pets in my own home. However, I am available for overnight stays in your home to provide consistent care and support for your dog in their familiar environment.

“This was our first time using Rover and Kasandra did such a great job! She was on time for each scheduled first, we got pictures, and love the app updates! Our fur babies seemed so comfortable and have already rebooked her for our next vacation!”

“This was the second time Sydney watched my cat and she was very well taken care of! She sent great pictures while I was out of town and Zoey was happy when I got home. Thanks again, Sydney!”

“Abby did a fabulous job caring for my dog Mazie! She kept me updated and shared information in regard to how Mazie did. It allowed me to enjoy my vacation while also making me feel at ease knowing that Abby was taking great care of my dog throughout the day! Thank you Abby!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I’ve taken care of my families, friends, neighbors. I’ve bathed them, fed them, taken them out, and more. I used to work at a dog boarding and doggie day care. I am very flexible and can work around any schedule and pets schedules. I like to make sure pets in my care are comfortable by sticking to a schedule. I have a big yard for my dog to play in. My dog is a big love bug, who just wants to play. Usually I take care of my family’s dogs at their houses which have fenced in areas.
About: I enjoy connecting with animals and creating a safe and secure environment for them. I look forward to inviting new dogs into our home and having our teenage daughter help care for them. Additionally our dog Raven is ready to have some playmates- she has a lot of energy but is gentle with small pups! We have a fenced yard with lots of space to run! I have been around dogs of all sizes since I was young and have taken care of family members’ and neighbors’ pets for years. I want to make sure that when we meet your dog he/she feels comfortable enough with Raven and us, so we will request a visit prior to your time away. Spending time outdoors is very important to me and I believe it is for kids and pets too! We look forward to opening our home and hearts to meeting you and your pup! My husband and I are home on the weekends so we will have plenty of time to spoil your pup! Also our daughter will be home to provide lots of TLC! We typically get home from work on weekdays around 4pm. Pets are allowed on our furniture and can sleep in our room with Raven. We will give them lots of attention, daily walks and playtime.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 797 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Dillsburg. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Dillsburg. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
