About: I have owned and taken care of many types of animals since I was 5. I currently work at a dog daycare and lodging establishment. I have worked with kittens/puppies as well as senior dogs and cats. I work outside of common working hours which gives me the time to take care of your pets while you are at work or on trips. I value the saftey and health of all pets, I have training in observing unusual behaviors in animals. I highly value communication and honesty with you as the owner especially when I notice these behaviors.

About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up with 6 other siblings and we always had animals around. I lost our beloved family dog about two years ago and I do not want to commit to raising another one since I like to travel. But on my down time, I really miss having a dog to love that’s why I thought this would be a great option! I recently retired so I have a lot of flexibility, and a lot more time to spend at home and to care for your dog. It’s just me and my wife that live in the home and she would be available to help if needed. We live in the country on a one acre lot so your dog would have a big area to roam! I am fine with the pet staying inside my home if that is what works best for you. I am happy to use a crate if that’s what’s preferred!

“My Dad’s dog, David (yes, that’s the dog name bestowed upon him by the shelter!), just had his first walk with Maddie. My Dad said Maddie was very friendly and David enjoyed his walk!! Maddie responded to my request for this walk right away and has been easy to work with. I appreciate her understanding in that I’m coordinating these walks for my Dad. So far so good!! We are happy with Maddie and will continue to have her walk David!”

About: I've had pets in one form or another throughout my life. From a variety of dog breads, to cats, aquatic pets and birds. I even had a "wild" pet Wolf spider in my bathroom that I took care of for a while. More on that another time. I'm experienced in giving medication and other ways that older and/or ailing pets need care. Coming from a security background, I'm skilled at crisis management and dealing with emergencies. I'm a keen observer and use this skill in my everyday life to notice and handle when things are "off", taking great care of your home. My availability is typically after 2pm seven days a week. My calendar is routinely updated. I am open to coming by for potty breaks, giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, going on longer or short walks and having an all around good time with your pet companions. You let me know your needs and we can discuss. I would be happy to care of your pets in your home. Otherwise, I do not have the space/ability to care for them in my home.

About: I'm Sara and I love dogs and I'm at my happiest when I'm with pups. Rover allows me to meet and take care of a wide variety of dogs from different breeds to sizes to personalities! I have one pup named Lucky. As you will read in my reviews, he has met many different breeds and ages of dogs over the years and loves making new friends. I know how hard it can be to be away from your furry friends. It can often be stressful and daunting to not only leave them with a stranger, but find someone you trust to care for your loved one. I am dependable, reliable, fun and loving and I will make sure to stay in constant and consistent communication with pet owners. I care for each dog who stays at my home as my own, which means total spoilage, lots of kisses and tons of cuddles. I'm home by 4pm M-Thursday and home by 11am on Fridays. Have a flexible schedule to be able to run home at lunch for potty breaks. I have a private fenced in backyard and will only take your pup or pups during the stay. For crate trained dogs, I have access to a few different size crates or feel free to provide your own.

I'm strong enough to handle most any breed dog while walking, I have lots of experience with cats. I've scooped a million litter boxes in my life.

About: I grew up always having a dog. Dogs were more than just a pet in my family, they were a family member. Now as an adult, I have 3 wonderful fur babies of my own that I would do anything for. Outside of being a dog mom, I am also a mental health professional and have training in behavioral models that also can be useful when training animals. I am a dog lover through and through and can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I currently work full-time, however am working towards working part-time. Right now I am available nights and weekends and some holidays! I am also flexible, so drop ins are welcome! I have a fully fenced in yard for my dogs and others to play. I make sure that all the plants in out yard are dog friendly, as I have a dog with a sensitive stomach so I have to be on high alert. We also have dog gates within our house if needed and a dog gate on our deck. We make sure our dogs have access to water at all times whether they are inside or outside. Our dogs favorite part is we have a (mostly) indestructible dog pool and enough room for them to run around in the back yard.

About: I’ve taken care of my friends, family, and neighbors pets for much of my life and absolutely adore it. I am a reliable sitter with two cats of my own at my parents and plan on getting my own dog within the next few years. I am currently working part-time at a coffee shop with limited hours so am free to pet sit at most hours of the day all week! I will follow whatever instructions the home owner feels is necessary for their animal. Each home is different and each dog is as well so I am adaptable, but will make sure each one is well loved and safe!

I will ask to understand your needs wants and values period if there are certain things that you need accommodations, for I would love to understand them so that we can have a very clear understanding so that you can enjoy your time away from your pets as best as possible.

Axel S.
“Axel has been one of my closest friends for roughly 7 years and in that time he has become one of my most trusted friends, especially when it comes to my animals. Axel has a natural connection with animals and has been surrounded by a diverse range throughout his life, including dogs, cats, sheep, goats, horses, chickens, and ducks. He has helped me care for my cat and fish while I was away out of town, and he consistently went above and beyond my expectations. Axel has also taught me a lot about handling horses, especially through his bond and experience with his gelding, Stormy. I've enjoyed visits to his family's farm and it's clear how happy and well-cared-for the animals are. His passion for animals and the calm, respectful way he interacts with them leads me to believe he would be a fantastic candidate for this job position.”

Jessica B.
“Jessica is one of the most responsible people I know, especially when it comes to being a dog mama. She provides great care to any and all animals in her life.”

“Emily did a great job. I'll definitely hire again if I need a god walker again.”

Taylor H.
“Taylor is going to school to be a vet this would be great for experience, and she loves animals. You can't go wrong with her.”

Maria S.
“Maria is such a great person to care for your pet. She genuinely enjoys spending time with any animal, even fish. She's very protective of their safety and follows every guideline you give her. If she doesn't know something she's not afraid to ask questions. I know my dog loves it when she comes over or stays and I trust all is well when I'm gone and that I'll come home to a happy pet.”

Sara G.
“Sara has helped us out so many times. Not only taking great care of our 3 rescue dogs but add also 2 or 3 foster dogs in the mix. I always know they will be loved and taken care of just like when I am home with them. You can't go wrong hiring Sara and her gentle love for animals.”

Callista C.
“Cal is hands-down the best pet sitter—my animals are low-key obsessed with them. My dog gets more adventure time with Cal than with me, and my cat (who usually judges everyone) somehow becomes their clingy shadow. They’re super laid-back but also weirdly responsible—like, they’ll remember my dog’s weird snack ritual or which couch my cat claims as their throne. Plus, they send the funniest photo updates (my pets look happier than when I’m home, tbh). 10/10, would trust Cal with my entire zoo. Fair warning though: your pets might start preferring them over you. (My dog literally whined when Cal left. Rude.)”

Renee K.
“Renee is a beautiful soul! She has a heart for animals, and they know it! When our daughter passed away we had to leave our homestead (very challenging to find and trust someone to care for it so we rarely leave), we were blessed to have Renee stay at our homestead and care for our 2 dogs, a cat, 16 hens, a mean rooster, and fish. All of our animals loved her immediately. I was so comfortable leaving everything we have in her hands, especially through such a traumatic time. She even made our pups special treats! I know she loved on them because she would text when she would feel a lump or a growth, concerned if it was an immediate vet visit. So loving and so caring. Our pups grieved for a week after she left! If you need a trustworthy, reliable caretaker for your animals, Renee is your person and she comes with a BIG heart! We are so grateful to her. We didn't have to worry about anything at home. A thousand percent recommend Renee!”
