About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dogs hair and clip his nails. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I work 4 hour shifts so after my shifts I can take care of the animal and then go back to work when needed but I’m free every 4 hours so I have a good amount of time to care for animals. About: Dogs have always been so beautiful to me: the sweetest most loyal domesticated animals that deserve nothing but love and care. My family and I have had pets for as long as I can remember! While my family only ever owned smaller breed dogs growing up, we adopted a German Rottweiler from a family who wasn't able to keep him any longer about six years ago and he is the definition of a gentle giant. Our extended families always had dogs and they were my favorite part of family gatherings!
