As a full-time special education, teacher and mother of two, I’m available for daytime pet care on holidays and weekends. While my teaching hours limit morning and afternoon availability during the week, I ensure flexible and reliable care during my free time to meet your pet’s needs. I provide a tentative and loving care for pets in the comfort of their own home, ensuring their routine stays consistent. This includes feeding, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medicines (if needed), and cleaning up after them. I also offer plenty of affection and keep you updated with regular check-in and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

About: For nearly 20years I’ve been caring for animals of all types. I have experience with Dogs, Cats, Rodents, Reptiles, and just about everything in between. Family, Friends, Neighbors, Co-Workers and Clients have relied on me to care for their furry family members & I’ve had furry family members of my own my whole life. I have worked with all ages and sizes, and am comfortable with pets with disabilities or medical needs. For the past 16years I’ve cared for people with disabilities as a Direct Support Professional. I am currently doing that as a part-time night shift, so I am available most days and eves, during the week and on weekends! About: Hi! I'm Colleen and I love animals! I currently have a 1 year old puppy named Sammy, who we adopted from the Humane Society when he was a few weeks old. We just lost our 17 and 16 year old dogs Tommy and Marta and we miss them terribly. I've owned a doberman names Zeus, a jack russel/pug Tommy Lee, a chihuahua/dauschund named Marta, and Sammy who is a chihuahua/pug/boston terrier/dauschund. I've taken care of many pets for family and friends throughout my life including: Dogs, cats, pigs, reptiles (chameleons, snakes, lizards, turtles)spiders, birds (African grays, macaws, etc.), fish, horses, cows, ducks, chinchillas etc. My experience includes: senior pet care, medication administration (oral and injection), bathing pets, dog behavior and more. I am always learning new ways to improve the lives of the pets and all the animals I take care of while providing a safe, healthy and fun environment for them. I work mainly from home and I'm available to board or house sit, drop in, and provide dog walks. While in your home I provide mental and physical stimulation for your animals along with attentive care. I own my own home in the country where your pets will be taken care of.
