“Paola did a great job. She did everything that was requested to look after my cat, Trixie. Trixie would be fine either way so this was more about me and my neuroses. Paola showed up as scheduled to feed and water Trixie. She also sent pics so I could see how Trixie was doing. This is definitely the way to go and Paola was the right choice. Paola was respectful of my home and cat. With Paola’s help, I was able to enjoy my weekend away.”

“Morgan is a very responsible person who goes out of her way to do the little things to take care of our pets and our home also. She comes at the agreed times, spends quality time with our pets and sees to their well being. We come back to happy pets every time she takes care of them. I have no hessitation recommending Morgan! She is terrific!!!”

“I cannot speak more highly of Marilyn!!!!!! She is THE BEST dog sitter I could ever, EVER ask for!!!!! No others compare!!!! Not only is she so gentle and responsible with my dog, but she goes above and beyond what is asked for; taking him to the nearby playground for fun times, relaxing in the sun, cuddling and loving on him in my home, sweetly playing with his favorite toys, even taking selfies to show me how much she cares for him. It literally brings tears to my eyes seeing these pictures because of how safe I feel Mickey is and how wonderful she is!!! She follows instructions to the tee and she’s perfect!! I adore her!!! Please use her!!!! Your puppy will have another mommy 🤗🐶❤️”

“Samantha is the best! She’s been very reliable and helpful, going above and beyond to communicate with me about Peppermint ears. (My dog has an ear infection that I had not noticed.)”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was the neighborhood dog walker and feeder. Now having my own dog for 11 years, I’ve experienced everything from puppy training to ER visits to prong collars and more! I’m a middle school math teacher so I am VERY free during the summer months for pet care. During the school year, I am free after school hours and on the weekends. As a teacher, I can follow directions VERY well! So anything needed for walks or drop in visits, I can do! My two dogs have lots of needs, so I understand how complex pet care can be.

“Joe is a great cat sitter! My shy tabby cat was happy and at ease when we returned. Joe sent nice pictures and visit cards, so I could tell my cat was happy. He followed all our directions and was good about communicating any concerns. I highly recommend Joe for any pet sitting.”

About: I've been with dogs my whole life, ever since I was born dogs have been by my side. I am taking care of 3 dogs currently, 2 smaller dogs and 1 large dog. I am used to the way they act and how to correct behavior and also walk them properly. I'm very energetic and used to both high energy and low energy dogs. And I will be sure to give them all the love and pets I can give. I am able to care for your pets most weekdays, and weekends if that is required. I am usually free from 12- 8 and am quite flexible with these hours. I walk my dogs multiple times a week and also play with them quite regularly. I understand the different needs and wants of dogs, some are more playful, while others are more reserved and keep to themselves. I accommodate to whatever it is you and your pet needs.

About: We have been dog sitting for the last 3 years for our closest friends and family and now want to open our home to your dog. We have a completely fenced in yard and aim to make your special pet our beloved fur baby for the time you need to be away. We have two children who are 13 and 10 and love all animals and want to give you complete peace of mind that your dog will be the king/queen of our castle while you are away! I work from home most days. When I do have to report to my office, I am never out for more than 2-3 hours and my office is only 5 minutes away. We ensure that your dogs will get plenty of run time in the back yard or great walks in our quiet neighborhood. We know how special your pups are to you and we love to provide doggy updates or even special face times with our pet owners. We have a completely fenced back yard and our grass is not treated with any chemicals or pesticides. Inside our home, we allow your dog to be as comfortable as possible and treat them like they are our family pet for the time they are with us. There are no other pets inside our home aside from two very lovable Guinea pigs and we want to ensure you have access to your pet via text or face time while you are away!

Safety first for all fur babies 💕

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 years old, taking care of my own dog Bella, and quickly taking care of other animals around my neighborhood as well. I’ve always loved animals and, to tell the truth, prefer their company to most people lol. I’m sure your pet and I will get along great! I spend most of my time taking my own dog Eevee out on walks, so I don’t really have any time constraints over the summer. In the fall I will be going back to school and have a change in availability. I bring lots of treats, love, attention, and vibrant energy when I come to hang out with dogs. I will make sure that they will have just as much fun as you do while your away.

About: I have taken care of senior dogs and puppies ranging from 8lb dogs to 100 lb dogs, having both in my household. I have helped dogs train with electric fences and through reward systems! I am current college student and most days I am done with class by 3pm! But even in the mornings and afternoons I have breaks in my schedule. I am not currently working outside of school so I am super flexible! I am very respectful of dogs needs and understand that different pets have different schedules and routines. I believe that all pets deserve attention and excercise, and I love to go on runs/walks or just hangout! I also am very observant and if there was to be a health issue with your pet (hopefully not!) it would not go unnoticed. I also am very respectful towards other people's spaces and home security.

About: Hi, I’m Olivia – a lifelong dog lover, mom, and future Certified Dog Trainer. Nice to e-meet you! I grew up with my beagle Wictor, and that early bond sparked a lifelong passion for dogs. After relocating and starting a family, I stayed connected to the dog world by helping care for friends’ pets, and now I’m excited to return to offering services through Rover. I'm currently enrolled in the Certified Dog Trainer (CDT) program at CATCH Canine Academy, where I'm expanding my skills in behavior, training, and canine care. I’m also certified in Canine First Aid & CPR, so your pup’s safety and comfort are always top of mind. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone new—I’ve been there too. That’s why I always recommend a meet-and-greet before the first booking and ask clients to fill out a pet profile. This helps me learn your dog’s personality, preferences, routine, and any special needs to ensure personalized care. **Why book with me?** * Currently enrolled in CATCH’s CDT (Certified Dog Trainer) program * Canine First Aid & CPR certified * Hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments * Calm, confident, and knowledgeable in reading dog behavior * Walks are a full 30+ minutes for proper stimulation and exercise * Trustworthy, responsive, and treat your dog like family * Flexible scheduling and reasonable rates Whether your pup needs a reliable walker, enrichment-focused care, or a calm and experienced presence while you're away, I’m here to help. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet! I currently work and study part-time, which gives me a **flexible schedule** and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, overnight care, or weekday playtime, I can adjust my routine to meet their needs. I also keep weekends open for added availability and longer stays. My goal is to ensure your pup receives consistent attention, exercise, and love, without you having to worry about timing or coverage. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities when they’re in my care. At my home, dogs enjoy a calm, structured environment where they’re treated like part of the family. I have a **spacious, fully fenced-in yard** that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, sniffing around, and getting that extra burst of energy out. Inside, the space is dog-friendly, clean, and cozy—ideal for naps, enrichment, and snuggles. I only host a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure each pup receives plenty of attention. All meet-and-greets are required to provide a good fit and smooth transition. I'm also **certified in Canine First Aid and CPR**, and I always keep a detailed pet profile on hand for routine care, medical needs, and preferences. Whether it’s fetch in the yard or quiet cuddle time indoors, I create a safe and trustworthy space that your dog will love.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I’ve taken care of many of my family and friends’ pets. I love walking and playing with animals so much. They always make life better. I am currently off from school and will be working part-time for the summer, so I have plenty of time to spend taking care of pets. I make sure to create a warm and loving environment for my pets at home and any animal I come across. I want to make sure that any animal I have an interaction with feels safe and is taken care of to the best of my ability.

“Joaquin is a very responsible young man. He walks my sweet Leeloo twice a day and is very cognizant of the fact that she’s afraid of other dogs. He pays attention to detail and I trust that Leeloo is in good hands with him!”

Joe R.
“We always try to take our dog, Kylo, with us when we go away, but sometimes that's just not possible. (For reference, Kylo is an energetic 3 year old Boxer mix that weighs about 70 pounds) Thankfully, Kylo has a home away from home at Joe's. Kylo gets plenty of cuddles, play time, and walks while we're away. It's a relief to know he's in good hands. .”

Denville dog parents share their Rover experiences
This was my first time using this service and I’m very happy with the results. I’ll be looking forward to using this service again in the future. Diane is a great person and I can’t wait to work with her again. She did an amazing job with both pets and also gave us some great advice on pet care.

If you want someone to care about your animals with love and compassion Nicolas and Tamara are those people. They gave us updates played with our pug and lab. They did drop in visits for us while we were away. We felt confident and secure. We can’t thank them enough. Our 4 legged fur babies were cared for very well!

Ashleigh was great company for my two pups. Was super flexible, during a very hectic Labor Day weekend. Truly appreciate her taking the time to come over to the house before the service. It was great to see her interacting with the pups and she took down notes on what we requested. After the service she even wrote a very cute thank you. Truly appreciate it, and hope to book her again in the future.
