“MacKenzie was fantastic! We had a family member cancel with short notice for watching out 2 dogs and 3 cats for a week while we were going on vacation. I quickly hopped on Rover to see who was near us, and decided to message MacKenzie based on other reviews that had been left. After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

About: I have experience in daycare/boarding settings, i have experience with high drive dogs, I do dog sports with my own personal dog so i am pretty confident in my handling skills. I have done years of research on dog related things some including understanding body language, knowing when a dog is uncomfortable or needs to be removed from a situation, what things are good and what are bad, how to use training tools properly if needed, learning the genetics of dog breeds and just over all temperaments that certain breeds have. I grew up on a farm full of dogs and other animals ive always owned dogs especially bully breeds ive been around dogs will all ages, behaviors and sizes my family and friends all know my love for animals and how good i am with them and how much i care about them even when they arent my own. I currently am unemployed, i am a stay at home dog mom and aside from the occasional grocery store run i am at home with my dogs. I will care for your pet to the best of my ability and under any instructions that may be given to me. I will care for your pet like they are my own and keep them as safe as possible while under my care!

About: I’ve had animals most of my adult life. I’ve just lost my cat and dog this year and need the fulfillment that a pet can give you! Unconditional love and affection! I work part time 15 hours a week and am otherwise wide open with time. I’m also available for walks and check in’s with dogs and cats. I have a fairly large back yard and have no other animals to contend with. I am trust worthy, honest and loving to all animals I currently work 5 hours 3x a week and am otherwise home. My schedule is flexible. My husband is also available to help If needed. I have over 1/2 acre and would walk your dogs 3x a day or more if needed. I have a dog park and park close by.

About: Many members of my family have had dogs, cats, and various other types of pets for my entire life. In my own home, my parents began giving me pet care tasks to help me practice caring for animals when I was pretty young. These skills have developed significantly over the years. I am a loving and caring person and have always had a playful side. This being said, I am still able to handle stressful situations with a firm but compassionate hand. This gives me a distinct advantage when it comes to pet care. Currently I work two jobs, one full-time and one part-time. The full time job have regular hours M-F, 8am to 4pm. I would be able to do drop in visits both before work starts and after it ends. I usually work my part time job on weekends in the late morning- early afternoon. They are very flexible and as long as I get enough notice, I will be able to schedule visits then as well. I feed my cat on a regular schedule so I am able to do the same with your pet. I am also able and willing to play, bathe, or just hang out with your pets. Unfortunately I would not be able to have your pets in my apartment, as my complex does not allow unauthorized animals but I am more than willing to come to you!

About: I keep my eyes on pets and I allow them the illusion of freedom in the back yard (on camera). Helps them to feel independent. (Due to their nature I'm unable to board Yorkies (Yorkshire Terriers) and Morkies. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.) I'm at the house almost all day, and I can secure the pet in a cage when I need to run out to run errands. I monitor the pet closely and I walk them at potty time and play catch or tag of war with them in the back yard.
