About: Hi! My name is Cami, and I live in Fredericksburg with my husband, Cam, our daughter, and our two cats. Cam and I both work with children and love helping families, whether that means caring for their little ones or their furry family members! Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted us to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away. We make a great team and understand how important it is to know your fur babies are in good hands. We’ll treat your pets like part of our family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend and give them a home away from home! 🐾 My husband and I are both early risers, with our day starting around 5 AM! During the school year, I work full-time as a preschool teacher and am home by 5 PM. Cam and I both work just five minutes away, so we’re able to come home during our lunch breaks between 12:45 and 2:15 PM to check on and spend time with your pets. We’re available before and after work, overnight, on weekends and holidays, and for extended stays. I’m happy to work around my teaching schedule to provide reliable, loving care and make sure your fur babies feel right at home! We have plenty of space around our home for walks and outdoor time. Our two cats are very friendly and comfortable around other animals. We have a 2 story house with a finished basement. We are able to accommodate crating/pet separation if needed and can care for multiple pets when appropriate.

About: I’ve had plenty of dogs my entire life as well as taken care of friends and families dogs. Overnight, check ins or walking. I love walking dogs especially and playing with all animals. I will provide a safe, caring, and loving environment for your pets so you’re worry free while away from them! Currently between jobs and am a full time online college student. So I am pretty flexible!! If something doesn’t work i’ll just make that clear but I do not have many scheduled things in my day to day. I don’t mind doing feeding, walking, play time! Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.

About: Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve done my entire life. I’ve been pet sitting since I was a kid, and I’ve always been the person who notices the animals before anything else. Growing up, I was the kid who would walk into someone’s home and greet their pets before I even said hello to the people. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals and have never been able to pass by an animal in need without wanting to help. That lifelong passion eventually became a career. I have 11 years of professional veterinary experience, giving me extensive hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their behavior, needs, routines, and individual personalities. I’m also knowledgeable about many different species, so I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals. More Than a Sitter With my veterinary background and lifelong experience around animals, I bring a level of awareness and attentiveness that I believe makes a real difference. I’m observant, patient, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every animal entrusted to my care. Most importantly, I treat your pets like individuals—not just another booking. When you’re away, you shouldn’t have to worry about whether your pets are being loved, cared for, and understood. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re in caring, experienced hands. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your babies and give them the kind of care they deserve. 🐾❤️ I have a flexible schedule, and am willing to work with you. As of the moment, I am mostly free and able to work any day of the week. Your Pet, Your Rules ❤️ I understand that every pet—and every pet parent—is different. You know your baby best, and I will respectfully follow your instructions, routines, preferences, and expectations for their care. Whether your pet needs a specific feeding schedule, extra patience, medication, a certain walking routine, or simply lots of love and companionship, I’ll make sure their care is tailored to them. My goal is never to simply “watch” your pet. I want them to have such a positive experience that their time away from you feels more like a vacation than a separation.

About: Hi! My name is Olivia, and I’ve been caring for dogs and animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up around pets gave me a natural love for animals, and over the years I’ve helped care for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with walking, feeding, playtime, administering medications, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. What sets me apart is the genuine love and care I give every animal. I treat every pet like family and truly enjoy spending time with them, whether that means long walks, playing fetch, or simply keeping them company in their home. I currently have a very open and flexible schedule while I wait to begin my career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in late August. Because of this, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets throughout the day. My flexible availability allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, overnight stays, and last-minute scheduling needs whenever possible. I love staying active, so spending time outdoors walking and caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy during this transition period before starting work. Providing a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment for pets is my top priority. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I always strive to create a calm, dependable, and comfortable experience for both pets and owners. I live in a pet-friendly environment with plenty of safe areas for walks and outdoor time, and I carefully follow each owner’s home instructions regarding routines, medications, feeding schedules, and special needs. I’m attentive, responsible, and communicative, and I’ll always make sure your pet receives the love, attention, and care they deserve while you’re away. 🐾

About: Please ask to see my Trusted HouseSitter profile for additional reviews and information! I provide pet care in Richmond and Charlottesville and the surrounding areas, though I am also happy to travel to other states with advanced notice. I have a breadth of experience caring for my former pets and my home, as well as house and pet sitting for friends and for my clients. I grew up on a farm and cared for goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, sheep, and poultry. I make an excellent house/petsitter due to my experience with and love for animals and my tidy and loving personality! ** I charge $45 / night for 1-6 night house stays, but have a sliding scale for longer sits (negotiable at the time of request). I am open to traveling farther distances for 1+ week sits. I am attending VCU for my MSW M-F from 8-4, so I have limited availability for midday potty breaks/check-ins during the week, but I have open availability most evenings and weekends. For boarding requests, my partner works from my home and is available to offer potty breaks/check-ins for pets while I’m at school. I’m happy with staying overnight for housesitting or sharing my home for boarding! I have the utmost care and respect for my clients pets and homes and treat them as if they were my own. I make sure to communicate expectations as best as possible to make sure we’re all on the same page.
