“Jaideep and his family took excellent care of our 6-month-old, Atlas, while we were on a family vacation. He kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and detailed check-ins. We’ll definitely be using his services again in the near future.”

“I was very pleased with my pets stay with Miss Bobbi. She sent me pics and updates throughout the day. This was the first time my pet and I have been apart and all went well. I feel confident leaving LG with her in the future.”

“If you came to the reviews to see if Vasumathy is the right pet sitter for you. The answer is YES!! BOOK HER NOW!! She recommended a meet and greet before booking. Which is a great idea for you to know who will be taken care of your pet and where they will be. Vasumathy took care of my 3 month old puppy Dunkin, with short notice, for a few days while my family and I were out for some hours. She is very knowledgeable and gave us some advice on how to train our puppy as well. She updated us on how our puppy was doing through out the day. Asked questions on how to care for our little Dunkin. She is very personable and you can tell she loves animals in general. You won't go wrong with booking her. I found our future dog sitter and I couldn't be more happy. Thank you Vasumathy!!”

“Our 2nd time booking with this family and again, our Sadie was well taken care of, plenty of pics sent while we were away on a trip. They were also flexible and let Sadie stay another night when our return flight was canceled. Sadie has a great time with their dog too which makes us feel even better leaving her when we just can't take her along. Highly recommend!”

“Our dogs loved staying with Jack. This was our first boarding since moving to the area and Jack was amazing and loving with our doggies! Our little one has terrible anxiety but Jack had him feeling happy and safe the very first day! Jack kept us up to date and sent pictures too! So glad we found a home away from home when we can't take our doggies with us. Thank you, Jack!”

“Heather was so wonderful taking care of our pup, Pesto! She was so warm and loving to him, and sent us lots of pictures throughout the weekend! Pesto had the best time playing in her backyard. Thank you Heather for being so wonderful to him!”

“Angel and her family treat my Rex and me so well! However, the best reference is when I pick up Rex, on the way to the car, he turns around, trots back to Angel's gate and barks for to let him back in HER house. Is it a bad thing when you ate jealous of your "Rover Angel" because your fur baby does not want to leave when you pick him up...as I said, this is the best reference. Angel....Thank you!!”

“Missy was very good with our dog. He had never been left with anyone other than family, so there were some challenges. She gave me daily updates with pictures which I loved! Missy was very patient and kind to Baxley. We could tell that she has a lot of experience working with animals and that she cares for each one she watches. We were very pleased with her - five stars! We would definitely use her again and recommend her.”

“Sandra and Antione were great! Stella seemed happy when we picked her up. Sandro was great about sending regular updates and pictures. I would definitely use them again next time I am traveling out of the Harrisburg area.”

“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

“Sarah cared for our labradoodle and we would definitely recommend her! She communicated regularly, sent pictures and updates, ensured our pets were compatible before booking, and made us feel very comfortable that our girl was in great hands.”

About: Our family loves dogs, cats and all furry animals and would love to relieve your stress by offering pet sitting services while you're at work, or on vacation. Stay at home mom so plenty of time for walks and play, we have a farm so lots of room for pups to run and play. I have plenty of space to walk your pet, can also crate them if necessary as well as confidently administer any necessary medications. Dogs are fed separately and water available at all times.

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My experience with dogs started when I was just 4 years old, when my grandmother raised Cocker Spaniels. Growing up, I was also lucky enough to have dogs and cats of my own, which helped me develop a genuine love and understanding of animals. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and I currently have a shelter dog mix of my own. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care, patience, and affection I give my own. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pup, keep them happy and comfortable, and give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away! 🐾❤️ I’m currently working full time M-F and am home evenings and weekends. I have a routine with my dog so following another routine will be simple! I have a fenced in yard at my home. I also have one dog that is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs.
“Woody had the best time with Brian enjoying walks and many cuddles. We appreciated Brian’s careful questions before accepting Woody to make sure that they would be a good fit. Woody was happy from first arriving at Brian’s home and happy when it was time for pick up. Brian was a wonderful communicator giving us regular updates on Woody’s stay. We can’t say enough good things about Brian and his care!”

“She was so awesome to work with answering any questions we had and took all of our concerns and requests seriously and provided Sid with wonderful care. Love the pictures and check in she sent just highly recommend”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 9 years old, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I grew up with the sweetest Saint Bernard and have had 5 adorable kitties over the years. I like to call myself a professional cat entertainer. In 2023, I finally got my own fur baby who is spoiled rotten and my favorite thing in the world. I pet and house sit regularly for my friends and neighbors with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even some horses. Sometimes that means staying overnight because one pup has bad separation anxiety, so I’m comfortable giving extra love and attention. Cats might be my favorite to work with but I love all cuties just the same! I’m working full time and right now, I get off work around 2:30pm. I am available for 30 minutes during the work day on my lunch break and during the afternoon/ nights. I have a large back yard and fenced in pool area for dogs with lots of room in the house for laying, playing, or exploring. I currently do not own a dog so any visiting dogs should bring with their favorite toys for extra entertainment. I am not living in a development but have plenty of walking trails in close proximity, including Big Boyd’s Tree Preserve, Front Street, Fort Hunter, and Wildwood Park. There are 3 cats living in the house who have been acclimated to dogs. We have separate rooms for visiting cats to stay with extra litter boxes, scratching posts, an abundance of toys, and a few humans to play with and love on.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Dellville home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Dellville.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Dellville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
