About: I grew up with five cats and one dog, and have helped pet sit friends’ dogs. I am very comfortable playing, feeding, going on walks, cleaning litter boxes, etc. I now have my own tripod cat as well, so I have also learned a lot about caring for pets with different needs! I will be working part time, and not taking classes this summer semester. So I will have plenty of time to stop by throughout the week. I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and stick to their usual routine. I am very careful on checking that doors, gates, and leashes are secure. I follow all instructions closely and keep owners regularly updated!

About: Hi! My name is Claire, and I’m someone who has always had dogs growing up — they’ve been a huge part of my life. Now that I’m in school, I really miss having a dog of my own, but I know I don’t currently have the time to fully raise one. That’s actually what drew me to Rover: I get to spend time caring for and loving dogs while also helping owners in my community feel confident their pets are in good hands. I genuinely love dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I take caring for them seriously. About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. And my cat... well, he comes running whenever I get the treat bag and clicker and has his own variation on all the dogs tricks. ;) I look forward to meeting your pets and seeing what I can learn from them! I am currently working part time and happy to work with you on scheduling. My husband is also retired which allows me a lot of flexibility for being away from home I do not care for client pets in my home. When is someone else's home I will do my best to continue your pet's usual routine while you are away.

We have a large home with the ability to give your pet quiet space alone if needed, and plenty of indoor room for play when they want attention. We have a large unfenced backyard. My husband and I both go on morning and evening walks, and have lots of time to give your pet exercise as needed. Currently, I share my home with Subi, a big-hearted cat who has never met a stranger. He brings endless joy to my life with his playful antics and affectionate purrs. He does well with all other pets, but we do have the ability to keep him separated if your pet requires us to do so. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. I have always had a dog or dogs in my family, but am currently pet-less so I'll have all my love to give for your furbabies! I am currently between jobs and looking to use this for some gigs while looking for a steadier job. This of course means that I have plenty of flexibility with time and am perfect for pets who need a little extra hang time! I currently do not offer care in my own home, but am more than willing to do whatever you need in your home! I will always respect your boundaries no matter what.
