“Booking Coralie to watch our cat, dog and house while away was a great decision! She stayed 4 nights in our home with our pets, we received multiple updates and pictures everyday we were gone. She even took our doodle for a nice long weekend hike with her own pup, they got along great and I know he had a blast! We never once felt concerned or worried, we knew they were in great hands. Coralie left our home tidy and clean, the dog was well exercised/loved and even the cat warmed up to her. We will definitely be booking Coralie again for our future pet sitting needs!”
“April was absolutely great! I received picture updates daily and she took care of my diabetic dog that receives insulin injections twice a day with no issues. Will definitely book again!”

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for pets and currently work in veterinary medicine, so your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all sizes, puppies, kittens and senior pets, and I’m experienced with administering medications, feeding routines, and recognizing signs of illness. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently work full time during the day, but I’m most available in the evenings throughout the week and all day on weekends. During the time I’m with your pet, I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, potty breaks, and playtime so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love having company. I always introduce pets slowly and supervise playtime. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and can crate if needed. With my veterinary medicine experience, I’m also comfortable recognizing health concerns and administering medications if required.
“This is our second time having Jose watch our animals, and he was absolutely amazing, just like the first time! He was great with our animals, especially our more anxious dog. Will definitely be a repeat client 🙂”

“Lesley did a great job taking care of our Penny Rose puppy and the house. Lesley communicates well and sent us daily texts with pictures/videos. We highly recommend Lesley and feel very comfortable with her being at our house while we are gone.”

“Jesse was kind, organized, communicated with us while we were away...and the dogs took to him immediately. He has a great energy and we hope to be able to have him watch our girls again! Zero complaints. All praise.”

I love teaching dogs treats, my fav ones are speak and play dead!! I’m currently working part-time as a server, so when I get off around 2/3 I will have plenty of time to run and play or even cuddle with your pets! About: My husband and I share a deep love for dogs and treat them like family. Your pup would receive our full attention, affection, and care. We're both active and love going on walks—if that's their thing—but we're just as happy to spend time relaxing and cuddling indoors. We're attentive to each dog’s unique needs and are experienced with giving medications and following special diets, as our own dog has a few of his own. We both have the flexibility to work from home, so we can spend extra time with your pet while you're away. I love sending photos updates and will treat your dog as if it's mine. I don't watch dogs from multiple owners at once - your dog will be the center of our world while they're here! If you're looking for a safe, loving space and for your dog to receive excellent care, I am your Rover sitter! Check out our gallery to see photos of Watson (our dachshund) and the pups we've looked after in the past! I work full time, but work from home some days and have some flexibility with my schedule. Weekend days are best as we're both home all the time, but we can also help on weekdays. My husband works later and usually leaves for work in the afternoon and I get home a few hours after he leaves, so there isn't a long gap where our dog is alone. I have a fenced yard and a dachshund that is friendly and chill. Our neighborhood is very safe, your dog wouldn't ever go outside unless leashed.
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for most of my life and have more than 8 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I understand that every animal has its own personality, routine, and needs, and I always try to make them feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. I’m experienced with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, walks, playtime, administering basic medications when needed, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your furry family members, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work a full-time schedule during the week 7am-4pm, but pet care easily fits into my routine because I genuinely enjoy it. I’m available before and after work (5:30am-6am and 5pm to 8pm), on weekends (full availability), and for drop-in visits throughout the week. I know how important consistency is for pets, so I do my best to stick to their normal routines. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is doing well. As a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I always follow the instructions provided by owners and pay close attention to each pet’s personality, habits, and needs. Whether your pet is outgoing, shy, energetic, or prefers their space, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is to make sure your pet stays safe, happy, and stress-free while you’re away.
“Chelsea was very responsive and sent wonderful pictures and videos. Our cat, which warms up to no one. Feel completely in with Chelsea. I highly recommend her ace will be reaching out again when future needs arise”

“Errol helped us when we were in a pinch and needed a last minute Dog sitter for our two pups. He brought a calm energy that the dogs loved, and I felt completely comfortable, leaving them in his care. The house was in the same condition that we left it, which has not always been the case with previous sitters. He sent pictures of the dogs throughout the day which I loved and checked in periodically to let us know how things were going. I would absolutely use his services again, great sitter.”

About: Throughout high school and college, I often helped out friends and neighbors by dog sitting when they couldn't take their pets on trips. I’m a huge dog lover, and I really adore all kinds of pets. Over the years, I've earned the complete trust of my friends and neighbors when it comes to looking after their pets and homes. They know they can count on me to provide loving care and ensure everything is safe and sound while they're away. I am currently working at a mental health facility. I work 3:00 pm Sun-Wed. Although I am full time I am always happy to lean a hand. Free on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays as well. I am also willing to Sundays off! I was born and raised in the Central Valley. Growing up on a farm made me exposed to many animals and I grew immense love for them. I had a wonderful time taking care of my beloved pets: a Labrador, German Shepherd, Cocker Spaniel, and a Chihuahua. They were all my babies, and I also had a horse that I adored. I'm a huge animal lover, and I miss them every day now that they are living with my older sister.
About: I was raised in a home with many pets, which has taught me a lot about how to responsibly and lovingly care for many types of animals. I am a current student, so I am available most of the time until October. June and July I will be busy during most weekdays for a volunteer program, but weekends are open!! August and September weekdays and weekends work for me. I believe that communication is key for understanding and creating a respectful and caring environment for each pet. I’m excited to talk with you and get to know the specific needs of your animals.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog along with my family for the past 12 years by walking and feeding him. I usually walk my dog two to three miles everyday so I am able to give your dog long walks if needed. I am currently home from college and I will be available Mondays-Thursdays from May 19th-July 19th. I am able to care for your dog by walking and feeding them during those dates. I have a 12 year old miniature poodle and have taken him on walks almost every day. I have a small fenced in backyard and two parks within a mile of my house. I walk my own dog to both of those parks almost every day.
About: I provide a stress free and free roam experience for your pet (and sibling), where they can feel at home. I only take one pet and a sibling at a time to facilitate this environment. All dogs must have mandatory vaccinations; rabies, Distemper (DA2PP), Bordetella, Lepto, and flea medication. Cats: Rabies, Distemper (FVCP), and flea medication. After multiple life changing events, my home feels unnatural without a pet. I work as an elementary school teacher nearby and enjoy walks or slow bike rides on my trike in the evening. On weekends, I enjoy throwing a frisbee with my son at the park, we'd love to have your dog play with us too! I treat animals as another member of the family who deserve unconditional love, respect, and attention. A little spoiling here and there doesn't hurt, right? I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of shade for your little one to roam safely. My neighborhood is older and quiet, perfect for peaceful naps.

About: I have one puppy and she has a brother that I petsit all the time. I have always been an animal person, having dogs all growing up, and taking care of my neighbors cats when they are away. I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM, I am available to watch in between those times, stay overnight if needed, or stay a whole weekend as I am free those days. I care for pets in my clients home the best. I treat their home with respect and do not touch anything at all, unless its the pets food or water.
About: I live on a larger property outside Turlock and have always had pets and livestock including dogs, cats, goats, alpaca, and rabbits. Was responsible for walking our dogs most days i was off and providing any health care or vet visits for our animals. I am currently not working so im looking to meet some new pet friends of all kinds. I will be available for most times and dates. I usually will do an early walk for dogs if they are ok with walking and i have slept over at clients houses before with both dogs and cats

FAQs for House Sitting - Delhi
Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Delhi on Rover is $29.96 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 344 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Delhi. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Delhi walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Delhi maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Delhi choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Delhi. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
