About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

About: I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and will be sure to make your pup feel at home! I work from home and can give lots of attention. I also have a large open yard for play, enclosed kennel space as well, and a small dog for added socialization. I work from home and my own dog stays with me throughout the day. I do regular bathroom breaks, have access to water, and when the weather is nice get out for frequent walks. I have a shaded outdoor kennel should the weather be nice enough for my dog to have some extra outdoor time or use the screened in porch. Lots of options for your pup to get all they need. Your pet will follow the same schedule as my pup based on the time your pet is with me. Morning bathroom break, feeding (if applicable), time with me while I work, regular bathroom breaks during the day, end of work day feeding (if applicable), bathroom break before bedtime, and crated overnight. During nice weather I like to get in 2-3 walks; morning, lunch, and evening. This schedule can be modified based on your pets needs.

There is plenty of extra time and love each day to care for your fur baby too. I have a fenced yard on just under 1/2 acre, and my four dogs love to romp and play which is part of their daily routine. They also love long walks or going for a car ride. They are all crate trained and feel that their crate is their special place, so the doors are always open for them to have their alone/rest time when they want to after play time (if they are not trying to claim a spot on the couch or in the recliner). One especially likes the couch and the others love to sleep in bed at night.

About: Hi, I'm Meg and I have been caring for and working with animals almost my entire life. Growing up I would come home constantly with some sort of new animal friend asking if I could keep it. My parents always said yes of course but were very strict when it came to caring for the animal myself, so I have learned a lot over the years. I also worked in pet care where it was my job to know proper diets and habitats for reptiles, small animals, birds and fish. I needed to know signs of illness or stress. I moved on in the company as a certified dog trainer. I worked with all kinds of breeds and all sizes.
