About: I have grown up with pets all my life and have worked as a doggy daycare attendant. I recently graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and have experience handing animals from ferrets to cows. I have experience with all kinds of dogs: big, small, old, young, etc. and I have also done a lot of neighborhood pet sitting. Caring for animals is my passion so you can truly trust that you are putting your pet in the hands of someone who genuinely cares and has good experience with them. I am a full time student at Tarleton State University and most days, I only have one to two classes in the morning. I have two ferrets, but they aren’t on a specific schedule meaning that I have a lot of availability. About: Hi! I’m Lyndsey and I was a veterinary technician for 4 years, but have been dog sitting full time for the past 3+ years. I also have my own licensed dog boarding business, and do Rover on the side when I have availability! My husband and I live in Athens,TN. We have about 5 acres of land fenced in. We love getting to meet all kinds of different dogs, and having them interact with my kids. I’m home pretty much all the time so I never have to crate unless they sleep in one at night. I have clients that have been returning since 2019. I have 2 little girls, and all the dogs I’ve watched have been great with them! During all of the stays for the dogs I watch I provide homemade treats, and toys to play with. I’m able to administer any medications you may need for your fur baby! I’m currently home 24/7 unless I have doctor appts, or have to run a few errands. So your dog wouldn’t ever need to be crated unless you have them sleep in one at night. I can also admin meds if they require to have any during the day. I have a fenced in yard that wraps around my whole house, and also send pics throughout the day how they are doing. They have plenty of room to play as well.

I have advanced animal training and have worked with a wide variety of animals.I can also do farm sitting but will discuss rates separately I am currently working full time in the animal field. I get over an hour lunch and have the weekends available. I can also spend time with them in the evenings and mornings. I will stay in your home to make sure the animal is in a comfortable environment. I will feed and water them as instructed. I will do anything to ensure health and happiness for your pets even if it is merely sitting with them and providing company and love. I have experience with administering medication, dog walks, continuing a training regimen set by owner or introducing new behavioral solutions, caring for high anxiety animals with patience and gentleness. Also I have experience in caring for geriatric and special needs animals: diaper changing, getting pets in and out of wheelchairs, and care and cleaning for incontinence. I’m currently working Monday through Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm, I get an hour lunch from 11:00 to 12:00pm so I could check on animals during lunch and then of course be with them at all times outside of this work schedule, I’m off Saturday and Sunday. I will be offering all services except for boarding in my own home because present circumstances prevent me from doing so. If I sit for you in your home I will treat it with the utmost respect and abide by any and all guidelines you provide including cleaning up after any pet incident, bathing, playtime, etc.
