Doggy Day Care in Deerfield

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

I’m CPR-certified, insured, and a former kennel worker turned dedicated pet care provider. I offer high-quality, personalized care for your pets, whether you’re away for the day or on an extended trip. I specialize in drop-ins, boarding, and doggy daycare, all provided in a loving, in-home environment with attentive sitters. I keep detailed records of your pet’s specific needs and routines, and you’ll receive thorough report cards after each visit so you never miss a beat of their well-being. Please note: Drop-in visits are available between 7 AM and 8 PM. Boarding and daycare services are available by appointment only. During peak seasons, a 1–2 hour arrival window is required for drop-ins. I’m a full-time pet nanny, and will always put your pets first. I do ask for a window of 1-2 hours from your set time for pet visits especially during peak seasons. I will follow any instructions given and make sure to update the owners with lots of pictures. Will resupply fresh food and water daily for every visits. Will clean up any mess (pee/poo) before leaving.

About: Here to help you by providing a home away from home for your canine companions when you can't take them with you. For busy puppy owners, I can help during your busy work day with the important task of raising, training, and socializing your 8-16 week old puppy. I have over 30 years teaching a high school Career Tech Animal Science Program, 11 years working with puppies and adolescent dogs in service dog organizations. I am currently retired and keep a flexible schedule. I can do traditional overnight and daytime care. For very young puppies, I can assist with crate and manners training, teaching cues, and socializing. I have a fenced back yard and a wooded area behind my house that we can explore on leash or long line. I have an 11 year old Labrador Retriever, Kinsey, who is a retired breeding dog from a service dog organization. She is very good with puppies and all around sweet natured, special gal. I have several dog safe areas in and outside my house. We can hang out on my front porch or my big back deck as they are gated. I have a puppy room that is more like an all purpose room for whelping, training, or grooming. I have nice training area in my basement as well. My living room can be turned into a puppy paradise by adding larger play equipment that puppies can climb, crawl under, and balance on to satisfy their physical needs and grow their confidence. I have crates and can offer assistance with crate training. I can provide engaging enrichment activities as well. I also have a wide variety dog toys, something for everyone!

About: I have always had a love for animals. My husband calls me Snow White because even ducks follow me. Everywhere I go animals follow me. I am a stay at home mom so I can devote all my attention to the fur babies. Your babies are my babies under my watch. I will take care of them like they are one of my babies. About: I have two dogs and two Guinea pigs. I also care for several animals during the school year in my classroom at Tecumseh Acres. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets as well! I have just completed my 17th year of teaching and am off for the summer! I’m a teacher who loves dogs! If you are close to my area, I can gladly walk your dog when I get home for the day. If you are looking for a sitter or Walker over summer break, I’m your girl! I do not have a fenced in back yard, but I do live on a lot of acres. I also have a 2 year old black American Labrador who loves other dogs. My house is pet friendly :)
