8. Gundi G.
“Gundi took care of our central Texas ranch and animals (10 cats, 4 large dogs, 7 sheep) for three weeks in September 2015. She arrived three days early so the animals would have a smoother, less-stressful transition. It was also great having a chance to get to know her. She was friendly, personable, and quite interested in learning about our pets before we left. I could not have asked for better care. One elderly cat became sick and required immediate vet care and G was on top of it every minute. She also noted when one of our dogs wasn't feeling well and discovered one of our sheep had been injured by our ram. We were so appreciative of her attentiveness and alertness toward our animals. She also maintained the house itself in excellent shape -- it was clean as a whistle when we got home. We would use her again any time she's available.”

9. Hannah H.
“Hannah checks in on my dog Maggie. She’s always on time and spends time with Maggie to make sure she’s sufficiently played and done her business. Hannah is great and goes above and beyond what’s asked.”

10. Melissa A.
“I've known Melissa for decades, and she has always had a heart for rescuing and caring for animals - whether or not they are "traditional" pets. Her pets have always been considered a family member, and she takes their care and maintenance as seriously. She has cared for our dog when we've traveled as well. I highly endorse her as a person and as a caretaker of anyone's pet!”

11. Jailene V.
“Jailene is one of the most trustworthy and caring humans I know. She's incredibly kind and gentle with people and animals alike, always going above and beyond to make them feel loved and cared for. I can always count on her to watch over my dog, Cali, and treat her like her own, with lots of belly rubs, long walks, and kisses to go around!”

12. Rikki F.

“Rikki was easy to communicate with, attentive to our babies special needs and very reliable. It can be stressful to leave your animals and home but Rikki made this a very comfortable event for us. She cared for my deaf and mostly blind senior Dane, my moody cat and my little schnauzers like they were her own. She went above and beyond with the care she provided. I never once thought to worry, she was on time and very trustworthy. I cannot say enough good things about our first experience with her as a sitter, and I look forward to booking with her again. Thank you Rikki!”

13. Hannah T.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and the meaningful experience I’ve gained over the years. I spent many years volunteering at the Humane Society, where I cared for animals with a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies to senior pets who require extra patience and care. I also have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your fur babies! Also to caring for my own pets, I’ve regularly pet sat for families in my area and even drove over three hours to care for a family’s pets after they moved because the bond I build with both pets and their people means everything to me. My flexible schedule and remote part-time work allow me to give each pet plenty of attention, consistency, and love throughout the day. Pet care is pretty easy to fit into my daily routine, especially since I work remotely part-time as a care coordinator. I just graduated with my master’s in child life and I’m studying for my certification exam in August, so my schedule is really flexible right now. That gives me plenty of time to stay on top of feeding, walks, playtime, and just making sure the furry friends gets lots of attention and care throughout the day! I care for furry friends by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also pay attention to their body language and behavior to make sure they’re happy and healthy. In a client’s home, I’m always respectful of their space and any specific instructions they leave, and I make sure everything is clean and secure before I leave!

14. Abigail L.

“Abigail did an excellent job staying at my house and taking care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we went out of town. She is very trustworthy and I really appreciated the daily photos!! I will call Abby next time for sure. Thanks Abby!!”

15. Alexis O.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs since the age of 14, ranging from all different breeds (Staffordshire Terrier, Husky, Rottweiler, Dachshund mix, Pitbull), and I am always trusted to take care of my neighbors’ and friends’ pets as well (including cat sitting). I am reliable in feeding, walking, playing, and providing lots of TLC! I have cared for dogs with poor vision, loss of hearing, ones needing diapers, and elderly pets. I can easily adapt to your pet’s lifestyle, as in a certain amount of playtime/exercise, or extra feeding! I am able to provide update photos if needed and respond in a timely manner to messages. Please reach out if you have any questions 🙂 I am currently in between jobs so my availability is open. I’m looking to take bookings and can guarantee my time for your pet :) I do not own any pets in my current residence as it’s not the most fitting place for one (second floor apartment). I care greatly about having your trust to watch your pet in its home where it feels most comfortable! I will happily meet whatever expectations you have for that. If needing walking, I can provide a leash or use one that you provide, and for drop-ins I can spend as little or as long as needed to complete the care for your pet!

16. Taylor H.
“I have personally had the pleasure of working with Taylor and can vouch for his punctuality and attention to detail. He has been one of the most well mannered individuals I have ever worked with and can be relied upon no matter what even in an extremely fast paced work environment. It is obvious that Taylor takes great pride in the care of his own cat Azula. She is a well-fed and happy cat whom Taylor shares many photos of. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Taylor to pet sit for myself and highly recommend him to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

17. Michaela J.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, since I was about to be seven. I took care of my families and neighbors animals. Till I got out of high school. I’m currently looking for a job. But I’m hoping this job will help me rediscover my passion to be a vet tech. Because I put that dream aside for my kids. I have a fenced in yard. I have one furry baby, and two kids. My kids are six and a newborn. So your furry friends will have lots of love.

18. Susannah D.
“I was having trouble finding a dog sitter for a last minute, out of town trip. Luckily, I found Ms. Susannah. She was knowledgeable and great with my pup. I will definitely be hiring her again. Hire this lady with confidence. Highly recommended!”

19. Samantha F.

“Sam was amazing! My partner and I live in different parts of Virginia and Sam was accommodating in talking to me, 3 hours away, and doing the pet sitting where my partner lives with our two old lady cats, one of which is partially feral. Communication was excellent, Sam sent lots of pictures of our kittens! Pidgeon and Barty were happy and fed when we got home. Will definitely book Sam again when we need them! Thank you so much!”
