About: I grew up in a household with four dogs, three of them being Great Danes. Growing up with dogs, I have learned to train, walk, and take care of them. This is where my love for dogs came about. From the time I was 14 I was always taking care of and watching dogs for my neighbors, family, and friends. I have experience with dogs as small as Chihuahuas to as big as New Foundlands. I have watched and stayed with dogs for weeks at a time or just for a few hours after work. My parent's three Great Danes love going to the dog park, playing outside, and going on long walks. So, I have experience with caring for multiple large dogs at a time. My boyfriend and I own an Australian Shepherd, so I am also very familiar with high strung dogs who need to get more energy out than most. Along with my dogs, I have 15 chickens. If you ever need me to tend to your chickens while I am dog sitting, I can do this also! I am very dedicated to taking care of your pups as if they are my very own. I am a 1st grade teacher, so my best qualities are being flexible and patient with all of your pet needs! I am a full-time 1st grade teacher, so I have plenty of time on my summers and weekends off. During the school year, I am free after 3:30! I have stayed at family's and friend's homes for an extended period of time to watch their pups during the school year, so I am definitely available to do that as well. I have taken care of dogs who are fenced in or have acres to explore, and dogs who are free range or are crated in the home. With my parent's four dogs, they have an unfenced yard, so I have experience using shock/training collars to control them on their 7 acres.

For reactive or anxious pets, I use gentle, low stress handling & positive reinforcement or redirecting to help them feel calm and supported. Needless to say we were extremely apprehensive about leaving. After meeting Sydney we felt like she was a great fit for us. Sydney stayed at our house and took such good care of Ike. She gave him all of the love and attention he is used to and even sent us adorable pictures. Right before heading out of town Ike developed an eye issue that required medicine to be put in his eye twice a day. Not the easiest thing to do but she handled it like a champ. We came home to a nice, neat house and a happy dog. We will definitely be asking Sydney to watch Ike again.”

I’ve helped a post surgery pup recover and also care for a senior dog who needed daily medication. I care for my sister’s dog every day, so I’m used to walks, playtime, and sticking to a consistent schedule. I’m flexible and can easily fit additional pet care into my week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable. About: Have several years experience in taking care of various animals including farm animals. Previously interned with a vets office and currently work with my vet. Currently in college for vet tech and certified in fear free. Grooming for a few years now with grooming certification. Insured. I’ve been taking care of friends pets since I was 13yr of age. I have done consistent dog sitting since 2017. Can give medicine, special needs care, etc. I work full time for grooming. I am able to do visits or walks in between grooms. With enough notice I can make sure you get as much time needed with your babies. I am off on certain days during the week and one day weekend I take care of your fur babies from the comfort of their own home. I do potty breaks and feedings based of their already set schedule.

About: I've been taking care of pets for well over 20 years. I have experience with cats and dogs. Pets are naturally drawn to me. I have a passion for making them feel loved and enjoyed.
