“We absolutely love Rachael and even more importantly Chewie loves Rachael. Rachael was always on time for walking Chewie and was sooo sweet cleaning up after Chewie if he happened to get into things ( we are in the training process of uncrating him during the day). We have already booked Rachael for future walks.”

“Chantelle has been a tremendous asset to the important team for Spikey Ray Broadus’s mental and physical development. She has the type of skills that make her job fluent with skills and background in dealing with dogs in different environments as well as challenges. She listens.”

“I am incredibly grateful for Katie's help! When my dog Gino suddenly had diarrhea, she responded quickly and took such good care of the situation. She cleaned up the mess inside the house and even took the time to clean the stained carpet. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail really put me at ease. Thank you so much for your help! I highly recommend her services to any dog owner looking for someone trustworthy and caring.”

“Kevin takes my senior, disabled dog out for walks when I work super long days. My dog adores him, and he’s even getting stronger now with Kevin walking him! He also behaves better around other dogs, which I attribute to Kevin as well. I cannot recommend Kevin highly enough!!!”

About: Hi, I’m Ruby! I’ve cared for pets for years as part of my work as a housekeeper and nanny, and I also have two energetic Australian Shepherds of my own that I’ve trained myself. I understand the dedication, patience, and consistency it takes to care for high-energy breeds. From daily walks and structured playtime to keeping a calm, stable environment, I’m confident handling pets of all ages, temperaments, and activity levels. Caring for animals is already a big part of my daily life—I have two energetic Australian Shepherds, so pet care is second nature to me. From early morning walks to evening feedings, my days naturally revolve around routines that keep pets happy, healthy, and active. I’m used to managing schedules, giving lots of attention, and making sure everyone’s space stays clean and comfortable. Whether I’m welcoming a pet into my home or visiting yours, I easily fit pet care into my daily flow with consistency, patience, and love. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets are treated like family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, quiet time, and any special instructions. My two friendly Australian Shepherds are well-socialized, and I always do slow, supervised introductions to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, tidy, and reliable. I stick to your pet’s schedule, give them lots of attention and care, and keep their space clean and cozy. Whether it’s scooping litter boxes, refreshing water bowls, or giving medications, I handle every detail with care and consistency. I also send regular updates so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Since the COVID-19 quarantine, I have been relied on as a regular dog walker for neighbors, friends, and family. I’m comfortable administration oral and dermal medications, bathing, feeding, and walking any and all sizes (and ages) of your puppies! Excited to get to know your furry friends! I’m currently unemployed and job searching as an incoming college student at UCR! I have a wide range of availability, and I’m happy to help anywhere it may be needed! I had a Boston terrier for 15 years in a fenced backyard with open access to the home via doggie doors. I can easily crate dogs if needed, and I’m comfortable handling XS-XL dogs!

About: I really enjoy time with pets. I have had dogs throughout my whole life, with lots of experience tending to, and caring for them. I have a lot of love for the time spent with pets. I currently do not have another job, so my availability is open. I am in the process of looking for a part-time job, however, in the event that I do get a part-time job, I still plan to continue to dedicate time to pet care. I have acquired lots of knowledge over the years when it comes to tending to pets, so in the event that I may need to intervene or know when caring for pets.

About: Hi, I’m Afton! I provide dedicated, one-on-one care by accepting only one family’s pets at a time! My main goal is to ensure a calm and stress-free experience for both you and your pets! I have a very quiet home, perfect for new guests! I have found that hosting one family’s pets at a time leaves me with more time to spoil and help your pets settle in! Your pets will be provided with constant care and attention during their stay. I love gaining new experience in pet care, I have watched newborn puppies, kittens, and even ducks! I have a senior pug, he has been with me since I started kindergarten! I absolutely adore senior dogs due to my experience with him, they hold a special place in my heart. My background also includes time at the Riverside Animal Shelter, where I trained dogs and made sure they were well-socialized, and ready to be adopted. I am a college student, and pet care is a huge part of my daily routine! I always enjoy having a pet by my side, as I like to stay busy throughout the day. I take walks in the mornings and evenings, and I would love for your pet to come with me! I do have crates available but will not utilize them unless I absolutely need to step out of the room. If your pets are crate trained it definitely makes things easier for me! I always provide attentive care for pets in a very secure environment, I have a doggy door leading to a fully fenced and shaded backyard. I always go outside with the dogs despite it being fenced in. For particularly smaller dogs, I tend to keep them on leash for potty breaks. This gives me, and also the owners reassurance that their pets are never in any dangerous situations. I find it makes a dog’s transition less stressful if they have already become acquainted with my dog and I. I always like to schedule a meet and greet prior to their stay, with no extra dogs added into the mix later. I currently have a 16 year old pug mix being my main source of knowledge surrounding senior dogs. Caring for his needs over the years has made me a very mindful pet owner, he is very important to me. I never let any dogs outside on their own at night, of course potty breaks at any time are always allowed! At night they will be provided on leash potty breaks, due to coyotes and wildlife in the area. Your dogs will stay by my side during boarding, if they are well groomed they are allowed to sleep with me on the bed. I love having the company with me, I also find it’s usually the most comfortable option for new guests.

“I’ve had a lot of good luck with the Rover staff but Blanca is by far the best one yet. She’s responsible, professional, and incredibly polite. I give her my highest recommendation!”

About: Hi! My name is Danielle. I’m from California and I have been taking care of various dog breeds since I was seven years old. I specialize in all aspects of their health, including behavior, training, diet, exercise, and special needs. I’m currently in Georgia, but I travel between here and California where I help my mom run a private dog park! I own a small dog, and I have successfully dog-sat for many breeds, even hosting other dogs overnight in my home with her in Georgia and California. Though I live in an apartment in Georgia, we have a dog park and there is plenty of space to safely go on walks around the complex. Additionally, I have assisted numerous stray dogs in finding their way home and have helped rehome several others. I am passionate and dedicated to ensuring our furry friends are happy and safe, and I would love the opportunity to dog-sit for you! Pet care fits into my weekly routine as I am home all day, with my dog Honey, who is super sweet and friendly! I am currently in between jobs, so I will be with your pet 24/7. It is my priority to keep pets happy and safe. I have studied the behavior of dogs and can read them pretty well. My friends call me the “dog whisperer” lol. I have a dog of my own, who is very spoiled and well taken care of. I would care for anyone’s pet the same as I do mine, with lots of love and attention. If a pet needs to board overnight, I can accommodate to keeping them in the room with me, on a doggie bed. My dog sleeps on the bed with me, but I can provide a cozy crate if that makes your pet more comfy. If I am to go to a clients home, I would need to bring my dog, but I can have her in a carrier if need be. (:

About: I’ve taken care of my black lab since she was 4 months old. She’s now 8yo. In the last 6 months, I’ve also adopted a cat and have loved every minute of it. I’ve also checked on friends cats and walked their dogs while they traveled. I’m available to walk dogs starting at 6am in the mornings and anytime after 5:30pm in the afternoons on weekdays. During the weekends my schedule is flexible. When walking dogs I keep them on leash at all times. I ask the owners if their dog is friendly to ensure that no incidents happen during a walk. When checking on dogs at their homes, I take them out on the fenced side of their home or leash them before taking them out to go potty. Depending on the situation I will find the best way to play with them. For cats, I play with them using approved toys, feed them, and clean their litter box when asked.

About: I have grown up with dogs for many years and I am now a dog groomer in training. Making dogs happy and comfortable has become my passion in life. I currently work part time at a small dog grooming shop. I can watch your precious pups on Sundays and Mondays all day, and hopefully will have more spots open soon. I do not offer boarding at my house for my own pets and yours safety, but I’d love to care for your pet in the place they are most comfortable in!

Stella Z.
“I've known Stella for several years and Stella is an honest and kind young lady. We needed a pet sitter for our 16yo cat with daily dietary needs in a pinch, and Stella was super excited to do so. All we needed was once a day in the a.m. to feed our cat the required food. She went above and beyond what we requested. She is very thoughtful. Stella and our cat became fast friends, even though our kitty is quiet leery of strangers. If you want it done right, Stella is the best decision you can make in these times. I will be asking her to sit for us again in the near future.”

“Afton has always been great with animals since I've known her. She had this stray cat that she took in and nursed back to health when I was getting to know her, and then that cat had kittens and she helped raised them before giving the kittens to different people she trusted. She ended up keeping one of them and he's a strong little cat named Patchouli. When she met my dog, he was instantly relaxed around her which was new because he is always wary of new people.”

Blanca L.

“I’ve had a lot of good luck with the Rover staff but Blanca is by far the best one yet. She’s responsible, professional, and incredibly polite. I give her my highest recommendation!”

Andrea H.
“Andrea has been a fur mama for so many years and she has been providing great care and love for each dog that comes to her life. Not only does she provide care for her fur baby, but also anyone’s fur babies that she looks after. Andrea provides great customer service as she focuses on the needs of the animals, ensures they feel loved and protected, and respects the owners needs and requests for their animals. As I have mentioned before, she had taken care of other fur babies in her life, including mine. Andrea is nothing but a great person who truly understands and values animals and people. She would make a great addition to the Rover team and help other families in need.”

Haeli Y.
