“Jennifer and Alex were very attentive to Harley and Oscar while I was away. They updated me regularly with pictures and texts reassuring me that both were fine. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I certainly plan to hire them again through Rover.”

“Josephine stayed at my house while I was away for a 7 day trip. The dogs were relaxed and comfortable when I returned which shows how happy they were while in her care. I highly recommend her and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Crystal was absolutely amazing and our Reese, Rubi, and River were in wonderful hands! Crystal is communicative, asks questions and sends numerous updates and photos/videos. She made us feel 100% secure leaving our three dogs, and was completely understanding and tuned into each of their individual and unique needs. She was wonderful with our senior chihuahua mix with some special health needs, our feisty three-year old German Shepard mix, and our very very anxious senior Olde English mix. She made the time to come out and meet them before booking and make sure we were all comfortable. She is super flexible and left our home immaculate. We hope to have her watch our furbabies again soon! Thanks Crystal 🙂”

“Jason went above and beyond to take good care of our home and 14 week old English Setter Puppy. Just after committing to a puppy, we had the opportunity to visit France with our daughter, and visit our granddaughter. We really wanted to go, but only if we could find someone super reliable to take great care of a puppy and continue the training we started. Jason came to meet us before we booked him and put our minds at rest. He sent us daily updates during our week in France so we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful trip. Should you need a pet sitter, and Jason can do it, do not hesitate!”

About: For future reference; will not be accepting non neutered or spayed cats/dogs unless accompanied by a crate, especially if their not trained please. I do have one myself, so not that you need to have one per se but allow use if necessary! This is partially for Henrys experience too, so please keep that in mind when reading this; its not to be snarky. I have trained two dogs growing up who have above average listening and response times. Positive reinforcement was key to my success, psychology paid off. One was a rescue dog; she was such a sweet heart but it took some time getting her to open up based off her traumatic experiences prior to entering the adoption location she luckily found her way too. Henry on the other hand, was purchased from a breeder, so fortunately for him less baggage, and unfortunately for her given the circumstances. I've done dog sitting/pet care for family dogs when family members would go on vacation for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Medication administration is a non issue, as well as grooming is another area I take great pride in doing myself, as it's a good trait to have being a pet owner. Have cared for puppies, adult or senior dogs; we were a dog first family growing up so I've grown to love them more than you can realize just through descriptions; with my active daily lifestyle it allows for the animals to gain as much out of exercise as I do and working from home helps as well. I treat animals as if their my family or children, so they'd receive the same treatment one would expect from a friend baby sitting their children. Seamlessly; he wakes up when I do and is let out accordingly at 4 AM we go for multiple walks a day most notably 430 AM and 530 PM. I work from home so it makes it very manageable to get him outside for bathroom breaks within 2-2.5 hour interval periods. I'd like to think we both operate at a high level through one another. We feed off one another, so when he's upbeat I am too, but when I'm down he has his tricks that ensure a great therapeutic touch. I treat them as if their my children; I speak to them in a way they understand with words or phrases we've practiced or has practiced to ensure optimal success in regards to understanding one another. Henry and I like to play often with his toys or just horsing around with Belly rubs and chasing him around the house. He sleeps with me too, so no furniture is off limits as I usually have blankets or other covers in place to manage hair loss.

“Vanessa was excellent! She took great care in making sure she knew what my pup needed while I was away. Her text and video updates were super appreciated as well and I could tell she was having a good time watching my pup. If you want someone attentive and caring, book Vanessa!”

“Carlene is awesome! She is kind, conscientious, and a great communicator. She sent us photos of our dog each day and she paid close attention to him. We’re so glad we had her as our sitter and will use her again.”

“Emily was fantastic with Arlo! She came and met him in advance, and was not deterred by his puppy excitement. She had great communication and the home was well kept for the stay! We look forward to now having such a trustworthy sitter for Arlo.”

“Nuala did an amazing job caring for Bear at our house while we were out of town. She sent regular pictures and updates and went above and beyond in taking care of and respecting our house. We definitely hope to have her watch Bear again in the future.”

“Dekoda was very kind and pleasant to work with. She went above and beyond spending time with our animals. Our vacation was much more enjoyable knowing they were well taken care of. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I have lived with animals my entire life! Currently I have a dog and a cat. My dog is a 2.5 year old beagle and my cat is about 5 years old and he's a grey long haired cat. They both get along great (at times) and I love having them in my life. I have had experience with administering medications to dogs and cats, administering insulin to dogs, bottle feeding puppies, taking care of litters of puppies, teaching commands, mentally stimulating both dogs and cats and making sure they are physically stimulated as well. I do it daily with my own but I am a full time student at the moment. I have classes both online and in person but I only go in person a few days a week so I have lots of time to take care of your animals. I do not offer in home but when I am in a clients home I treat it and their animals as if they are my own. I go and do the job that I am there to do without causing any problems.

“We had a great experience with our dog. Kambree took the time to come and meet our dogs and get to know them ahead of time. She took excellent care of them while we were away from letting them in and out to feed them, to walking them everyday and giving them love and attention. We received daily updates with pictures and communication regarding our dogs. We truly feel she went above and beyond and would highly recommend her services.”

About: I've been caring for a variety of animals my whole life and have owned cats and dogs my whole adult life. I've recently been given the honour and opportunity to raise my Rottweiler puppy. I have spent countless hours researching best practices and would love to help with exercising your puppy pal. I hike, walk, beach and do whatever you need for your four legged family. I've had experience administering medication and providing special needs. I am currently working part time and crafting but would love to be caring for animals full time eventually. I'm happy to work any day and transport pets to preferred walking and caring spaces. I prioritize quality enrichment. My walks with my own dog are very much for him. He's welcome to sniff as much as he wants. I am capable of following any and all direction about your dog to stay as close to the quality of your own care as possible and give your dog the best experiences I can.

I promise to make your dog feel safe and relaxed, to allow them to get their energy out, and to give your dog the ability to get the exercise they desperately need, while you're away at work.

“Lessi was FANTASTIC with Sami! She listened very carefully to feeding regimen and was the first to say whatever OUR training was would be continued knowing how important continuity is with young dogs. She is very knowledgeable with animal behavior but loves animals. Sami is a pandemic puppy so she never got a lot of socialization and gets excited meeting people. Sami got to do sooo much with Lessi that she never would have gotten to do with us. Lessi took her to the field house practice - girls and balls everywhere! I know Sami never missed us!!”

About: I’ve had dogs cats and currently have a bearded dragon, and have had no problems. My sister has used this app for a while and I have helped her. I work Monday to Thursday with weekends off. I will be able to care for the animal at anytime during the weekend or after 4:30 on weekdays. I’ve never had any problems with animals in my house. All of my animals are healthy and I always respect other peoples houses and properties.

About: My name is Emma , I’m 32 years old and a recent graduate of police foundations here in Brockville at St Lawrence College. I love the outdoors and spending time with my 3 dogs, my chickens & ducks. I’m an animal lover and have some extra time now and would love to walk/take care of your pets! Please contact me if you’re looking for dog walking or dog sitting. I have 5 years experience walking dogs and pet sitting. I have 3 dogs myself, 2 boston terriers (Dexter & Larry) and our newest addition: a whippet named Louie. They are all very sweet and good with other dogs. Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are interested in my services! I currently have 3 steady clients but am always looking to expand, I keep myself available almost every day of the week so if you are in need of a last minute walk or sit I will most likely be available/ I can be pretty flexible to accommodate. I’m also doing house cleaning & looking to get some new clients there so if you happen to be in need of a cleaner or know someone that is please let me know! I have over 10 years experience cleaning & consider myself a very thorough cleaner. I can clean/pet sit if that interests anyone as well. 😊 I currently am working as an instacart shopper & a housekeeper, but do dog walkings midday and can work around my instacart/cleaning schedule to include more dog walkings/visits. I am currently not offering boarding for dogs as I think it would be too much, already having 3 dogs myself. I am willing to do at home visits for anyone who is interested!

Emma W.
“I've never met anyone who loves and cares for her dogs quite like Emma. I've known Emma my whole life and she grew up on a farm where she took care of multiple animals every single day. At all times there was at least one dog and one cat in her house which she cared for and cuddled as often as she could. She knows exactly what it takes to raise and care for a dog and provide it with lots of love. At the moment she has three dogs which she takes care of with her boyfriend and they are all the sweetest and most loved dogs I know. I couldn't think of anyone better to be a pet sitter.”
