We received tons of photo updates—she always looked so happy, playing with the other dogs in a beautiful, spacious setting. It was clear she was well cared for and loved every minute. Knowing she was safe and enjoying herself gave us complete peace of mind. Highly recommend!”

About: I am available to walk/do drop ins/some house sitting &/or overnight stays & cat sitting/drop ins anytime in the Shandaken, NY area. I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I work part time on my own schedule so my availability is flexible & I can work with you & your needs! I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc.... I will not be providing care in my home but I clean Rental homes for a living & will keep the same aspects in mind while being in your home/s, I will always be respectful of your space & your animals while providing the best care possible & will always leave your home the same as I found it. “Steve was able to dog sit my puggle Chomps on such short notice. This was my first time leaving my dog with someone other than family and I was hesitant in using a dog sitting service. Upon meeting Steve I felt comfortable in leaving Chomps with him. Steve sent me pictures of Chomps during his stay. He was also extremely accomodating, as we were returning from our trip a little later than anticipated. When we arrived to pick him up, Chomps did not even want to get into the car to leave. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to any specific needs, take all the potty breaks, and ensure both enriching play & restorative snuggles. And treats, of course! I have a fenced potty area off my porch for easy quick breaks, and several long leads for exploring the unfenced portions of the property. My senior dog recently passed away but she left soft beds in every room, jars of treats, and a big basket of toys I know she’d love to share.
