“Jessica was absolutely wonderful and incredibly dependable, always arriving right on time. She took the extra effort to truly get to know our cat’s personality and asked thoughtful questions that put us completely at ease. With her great communication and genuine care, we knew our furry friend was in the best possible hands. Plus, she noticed out-of-the-ordinary behavior and alerted us immediately. 5 stars and highly recommend!”

“Jayson was great with our high energy Australian shepherd while we were gone. He threw the frisbee with her every day even though it was freezing cold! He was very reliable and easy to work with!”

“We had a great meet and greet with Kaitlin. She explained everything clearly and took charge right away, which made us feel super comfortable. Inno responded really well to her. She even gave us things to work on with him until her next visit, which we really appreciated. We’re excited to see his progress and definitely recommend her!”

“Britany was wonderful. She was available very last minute and took good care of our 3 cats and was even willing to feed a community cat that shows up. We would hire her again if needed.”

“I have a puppy and Lisa was able to come take care of him twice a day while I was at work and on short notice, she sent me pictures and kept my worry at a minimum while I was gone. I came home to a puppy who was fed and happier than he would have been otherwise. Ill definitely be using her again!”

“Before working with Amanda, Ranger was reactive and unsure of new people, so finding someone to watch him was stressful. Now he absolutely loves staying with her. She understands his personality and keeps things structured but fun, which helps him stay calm and confident. Amanda updates me throughout his stay and even keeps up with his training while we’re gone. He always comes home happy, relaxed, and better than ever. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!”

About: Hi! I’m Jaylin, and I’d love to care for your pets like they’re my own. I’ve always been an animal lover and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust while you’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I’m happy to provide the care they deserve. I’ll also make sure to keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I work a full time job but I am willing to leave in my breaks (1 hr break and if in the area) to come care for your animal! I am off at 5pm daily and completely free on the weekends I will not be able to care for animals inside my home currently, but I will come to you! I have 3 kitty’s in my home and they are all well fed, well played with, and cared for.

I’m dependable, reliable, responsible, easy to work with/communicate with, I’m a diverse person who is comfortable in any setting and I’m very solution oriented. I hope you’ll give me an opportunity to help out with your animals. I’ve just recently relocated here to Columbus,OH area from Los Angeles California. I’m looking to help others with their pets because animals are my life’s passion! I’ve taken care of pets consistently for 10+ years and it simply never grows old. I have full open availability and I am very flexible and understanding. I’m easy to communicate with. At this time I can offer services at clients homes. I have two dogs of my own and so I am able to give your pets the one on one attention that they need I provide care in clients homes. I’ve found that pets do best with a sitter when they are inside of their domain.
“Cassandra does a fabulous job. She really seems like she enjoys her visit with Luca. I very much appreciate what she does and the time she spends with him while she’s in my home.”
About: I’ve had my first dog( Bandit) for 10 years. Since I was 9, I would take care of him on the daily. I would be the one to bathe, feed, play with him, and walk him. My extended family even trusted me to care for their pets while they’ve been away. I also own many different kinds of pets other than dogs and cats, so animal care is something I have adapted to. For the past two years, I have had experience in intensive dog training and I am educated in dog behavior. I attend The Ohio State University studying Biology in order to become a Veterinarian. Not only do i need to earn a bachelor’s degree to get into vet school, but i also need hours of experience. To achieve that, I have volunteered at ASPCA (animal rescue organization) to care for the many animals in need. While there, I learned how to care for animals that have been in rough situations. I am able to manage dogs that are twice my size. As a crazy animal lover, I'd love to meet your pets! As of right now , I am available all day everyday to care for my own pets and yours too! I work from home, so pet care is something I’m able to do on the side. At home, I just got a fenced yard installed, but I take my pets out on walks. They are under my super vision 24/7. If my client has a fenced yard, I will happily take them outside as needed and provide playtime.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in De Graff. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
