Kenzie brought my Lucy girl on almost a 2 mile walk through the park and made sure she had water when she got home to drink. Kenzie was punctual and was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend

About: With over 2 years of hands-on experience at a doggie daycare, boarding, and grooming facility, I've developed a deep understanding of dogs' needs at every stage of life. Growing up with pets and working with them professionally has made me a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I tailor my care to each dog’s unique personality and requirements. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine, as I mostly work during the week from 7 AM to 12 PM, leaving me plenty of time to make drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays before or after my work hours. I’m flexible and can adjust to accommodate early morning or evening visits for your pets. On weekends, I typically work a short window from 8 AM to 9 AM and then from 4 PM to 5 PM, which still allows me to provide pet care during the rest of the day. My schedule gives me the ability to give your pets the attention they deserve, whether it's during weekdays or weekends. In my home, I’m happy to care for smaller dogs (under 25 lbs) as I have two friendly dogs of my own that get along well with others. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I take my dogs and any guests out on a leash for walks and bathroom breaks with ease, ensuring they’re safe and secure at all times. In your home, I treat your pets like my own—providing them with attention, playtime, and regular walks, and making sure they’re comfortable and happy. Whether it’s a drop-in visit, walk, or overnight stay, safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities!

Grace was amazing! She came to the rescue with last minute scheduling, gave great reports and even left toys and gifted my pup a pig ear just because. Wonderful to communicate with and would trust her with my pup again any day - thanks Grace!

About: As an active, energetic person, I love helping pets stay happy, healthy, and engaged. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, runs, playing fetch, hiking, or simply getting plenty of exercise and attention, I'm committed to providing personalized care that matches their unique personality and energy level. What sets me apart is that I genuinely enjoy being outdoors and staying active, so your pet won't just get the minimum—they'll get quality exercise, enrichment, and companionship. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every animal in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. Whether you're at work, traveling, or simply need an extra hand, you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is getting plenty of activity, affection, and attentive care while you're away. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and excited every time we spend time together. As a pet parent myself to a senior dog and young cat, pet care is a daily thing in our home. They are my family. My main focus is to provide outlets for exercise, play and enrichment. My approach is to get the pets outside and exercising by taking them on walks, playing fetch etc.

About: I bathe the dogs, water/feed, play/go on walk or running, take them outside to use the bathroom after they get done eating there supper. If they need medicine before or after eating there meal, I can do that because I had to do it with my German Shepherd once. Animals give me pride, joy, and make me feel special inside and stress is gone. Animals should be treated like a family member in your home. Currently this is my only income along with uber eats. This fits my schedule between my daughter going to school even then I have a babysitter. I will make sure that fences are shut, doors are shut as well as making sure theres no holes in the fences for them to squeeze through.

About: If you're looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, you've come to the right place. I have years of experience caring for animals and currently have four dogs of my own, three Frenchies and a lovable Lab mix. They’re my world and the reason I began this journey as a dog walker and pet sitter. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, especially during those high-energy puppy stages. I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of exercise, attention, and love so they come home happy, calm, and well cared for. I'm also a former dog groomer, so if your pup needs a bath or nail trim, I’m happy to add that to my services. As a military veteran, you can count on me to be dependable, responsible, and fully committed to your pet’s safety and happiness. I treat every dog like they’re my own that’s what makes me a reliable and loving caretaker. I’d love to meet you and your fur babies, so feel free to reach out with any questions! I currently do work full time however I will make sure your needs are taken care of and your pup gets all of the love and attention! Safety is a top priority of mine. No one knows how to care for your pets better than you, you know what the need and what they don't need and how best to keep them safe. I listen to you and take all of your requirements and safety concerns as a must and not a suggestion.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have always loved caring for and spending time with them! I am also dog CPR and first-aid certified. And I have completed PackPro online training courses. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet/pets. On days that I work I can walk anytime before 12pm and anytime after 5:30pm. I have a lot of experience handling and caring for dogs, as I work at a daycare and boarding facility. I have two small dogs myself, that can tag along on some walks. I also know many locations to go on walks, and if preferred I can walk with your pet in your neighborhood.

About: I've been a pet sitter for family and friends since I was 12, and I started pet sitting for others when I got my driver's license at 16. I have experience with big dogs, small dogs, puppies and senior dogs, as well as cats, chickens, goats, and just about any other common pet. I also have experience caring for pets of my own since 5 years old. My family bred rottweilers for 3 years and I loved spoiling the momma and puppies, and making sure they were always comfortable and well taken care of. It is so important to take excellent care of those who can't do it themselves! I am a college student, so my schedule varies a lot. I am available evenings, mornings, and I usually have several mid-day breaks that can be filled with walks or just checking in on pets when needed. I am available most weekends as well. I do not care for pets in my home. In my client's home, I will make sure and be familiar with the pets name and any triggers so that the animal will be comfortable with my presence. I will also communicate with the client to ensure certainty about rules and designated areas for their pet so I can provide the safest and most comfortable environment for both the client and the fur baby.

About: I've loved animals all of my life and wish I could rescue every animal in need. Currently my little 9 y/o Yorkie, Ellie May is my whole world, not sure how I'd survive without her so I deeply understand the concern of leaving your babies in someone else's care! My daily schedule is very open and flexible & rates are negotiable. I'm willing to coordinate with you on your needs whether it be for weekdays, weekends and/or holidays. I will always be in tune with your pet's needs and wants and give lots of love and attention so your dog/s will always be safe & happy!

About: I have worked with humane societies since I was 12. I am 6'ft tall so big dogs don't scare me. I have yet to meet a dog I don't love from the gentle giants to the tea cup heros I am currently unemployed and looking for work while I go back to school. I have plenty of time during the day and energy to play with your doggos I would never put an animal in situation that could lead to danger. I strive to keep their routines the same while doing my best to provide mental and physical stimulation.

FAQs for Dog Walking - Dayville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 185 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Dayville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Dayville. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Dayville.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
