About: I grew up on a farm with many pets, have worked in a dog training center, worked in a pet boarding hotel and I have been an animal care specialist for the past few years at the Kansas City Zoo! I have worked with a very wide variety of pets & animals of all different ages. I currently am a full time animal care specialist at the KC zoo! In my free time I love meeting new pets, training animals and spending time with my corgi! I have a flexible schedule during my weekends as well as most early mornings or evenings. I am primarily looking for dogs to take on walks and pet check ins, will consider house sitting/boarding once familiar with the pet & family! About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and animals hold a special place in my heart . I’m currently a Pre-Veterinary student at the University of Central Missouri, and for the past five years, I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at Pleasant Hill Animal Clinic, where my dad is a veterinarian. I’ve also been pet sitting for the past two years, caring for pets of all ages—from playful 10-month-old to sweet 12-year-old seniors. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections for diabetic dogs, and I always make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I truly consider the dogs I care for as part of my extended family, and I can’t wait to meet your furry best friend and give them the same love and attention I’d give my own. I currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant, and I’m typically available every day except Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On those days, I occasionally have morning or afternoon availability, and I’m always available after 6 PM. I offer in-home care, boarding, and drop-in visits. Even on my busiest days, I always have a lunch break, so I’m never away from pets in my care for more than six hours at a time. Your pet’s comfort and well-being are my top priority, and I strive to provide dependable, loving care at all times. I have a fully fenced yard and one friendly Great Dane who can be easily kenneled or separated as needed. My home also features a dedicated, dog-proofed room that’s perfect for free roaming and playtime. About: We are reliable Gen X who have the experience needed to take care of your critters. We will treat them like our own until you return home. My husband and I work full time but we are able to drop in before and after work. I work very close to our home and can let your critters out during the day. I have a fenced yard, 2 indoor dogs, and 1 dog that rarely comes in. He will be in a separate yard. We have 2 cats that come and go as they please who only have access to our garage. Your dogs are allowed to play with our dogs if you allow it and if they get along well. Your dog will need to be crated while we are gone from the home. Our back yard fence is 48” tall. Please let us know if your dog is an escape artist and we will walk him/her on a leash to prevent their escape.

About: I grew up with a cat and a dog and, since being an adult, have pet sat for many friends and family with a variety of dog breeds and types of cats. I've even cared for two bunnies! I have previously volunteered at KC Pet Project cleaning kennels and walking dogs and currently own my own puppy. I have a highly flexible work schedule so I can care for your pet(s) at any time! I do have occasional evening activities but would be away for no longer than a couple hours. Pet care will depend on the owner's preference! I am more than comfortable feeding pets, play time, leashed walks and outside time for dogs, and litter box cleans for cats. Any further requests can also be accommodated for!

I was a little worried because I’ve never left our dogs to be cared for by someone else and we have a king Shepherd who is pretty territorial and not always friendly to unknown people. He took right to her along with our other two dogs. She sent text messages and pictures/videos daily with updates on how the dogs were. She even brushed them out for us, vacuumed the living room and cleaned up. Super happy with how well she took care of our fur babies while we were gone. We have had (2) St. Bernard’s and a Labrador. So it is safe to say that I am a confident large-dog walker/caretaker. I also spent my high school and college years farm sitting, which consisted of caring for multiple types of animals at one time, most very large! About: I've been around dogs, and animals my whole life! I grew up caring for my family's dogs, and often watch friend's pets! I currently live with a roommate who has 2 dogs - I often feed them, walk them, and play with them a lot! I'm a pretty affectionate person - especially to animals! I currently have a full time job, working mainly in the afternoons, sometimes evenings. But my schedule is also pretty flexible! If I'm working I can take breaks about every 2-3 hours to check on the animals I won't be able to host your dog at my home. But I can come to yours! I am pretty flexible - I'm used to animals that will slept in the room with you, but I can crate them during the night or when I leave! I believe some animals need a lot of love and attention and I can give that while I am at the home
