About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. I also offer the dogs time to cool off in the pool and a large house to hang out in. If you want me to drop in on your pets at your home in the afternoons and weekends, I can do that too.
“Jocelyn was great with Arlo. He tends to be a little shy and quiet with new people but he made himself at home with her and her family right away. She checked with me before feeding him a treat to make sure it was ok that he had it and sent me cute pictures to show me he was doing good. From caring for my own, I found my love for taking care of others, and I branched out into petsitting, housesitting, and the feeding and care of all types, big and small. I’m available for your pets. I have no other working engagements at this time. I can do holidays, and cover your travel needs, and I’m available on any day of the week. I have a fenced in yard, and there is currently a very sociable cat in the house. Crates can be used only when/if when necessary. I provide fresh water, a cozy bed, and anything per their schedule. I will treat them like they are my own: I can play with them, give them lots of love, send photos back to you, and make them feel at home.
