“Amazing serves as always. I so thankful to know when I have to be out town all the babies are well taken care of and loved. They always go above and beyond for our family.”

“Katia was wonderful! She kept our kitty lots of company, took great care of her and made sure she was loved and played with. She was great at keeping me updated and I have complete peace of mind while we were gone :)”

“Kaylee was wonderful, when we met I could tell she has had a lot of good experience with working with animals. We've never used Rover before and were nervous about leaving our babies behind for the week, but it went wonderfully. We looked forward to getting the daily updates with the pictures. If you're on the fence about using Rover, definitely do it, and if you can book Kaylee she is awesome! We will definitely use her again when we travel!”

“Raven did an outstanding job of watching over our five cats while we were on vacation. One of them was a new addition that had some GI issues (I guess we didn’t catch it before we left) that she cleaned up after, and kindly offered to take to the vet. We got photos and updates every time she went over, she was very responsive and good with the cats. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone else in town!”

About: I love taking care of pets and connecting with them deeply. Pets give their whole hearts to their humans, and I believe they deserve care and attention that matches that love. I provide thoughtful, attentive care for all pets—big or small, furry or not—because every animal deserves a happy, safe, and loved life. I am a full-time student at Glynn Academy, but I am available to care for pets after 2 PM on weekdays and any time on weekends. I am currently saving up for college since I am a senior in high school. I care for every pet and their every need, whether it be energetic walks, quiet time with cuddles, feeding or potty breaks, or simply companionship. I will pick up after its messes, clean its litter box or its poops, and play with its favorite toys. I will provide the care your pet needs based on its routine and comfort level, while also making sure it feels cared for even when you are away. I prioritize being fluent in dog/cat/bird/fish/etc.

About: I grew up taking care of dogs and spending time with other animals such as birds, reptiles and rodents. When I was a 10 years old my father and I partnered together to train a service dog for a family friend. I am an expert in animal behavior and training. As I got older I have been a very reliable and trust worthy person my family and friends have depended on for pet care. I can provide affordable, quality pet care for both dogs and cats. I promise my utmost attention and excellent care to each pet I sit. I am working a part time job and actively taking college courses. I am available for house sitting Sat-Tues, however I work Wed-Fri only being available in the evenings for sitting. I understand how important safety is to every pet owner. About: I have always had a passion for animals. I started sitting for furbabes when I was in high school.I am an Army Veteran and work at an urgent care as a Medical Assistant. I have a Great Pyrenees, Whiskey whose is considered special needs and 3 cats Pendleton,Jameson and Moscato who are all full of energy. I typically work 3 days a week and would be happy to travel within the Brunswick/SSI or Jekyll area to care for your fur babes. I try to stay under a 10 mile radius from where I live in historic Brunswick. Please feel free to reach out to me for more detailed scheduling options and pricing for a case by case basis. If you require more than one visit a day, I do charge an extra $5 for the 2nd service. I also like to do a military/first responder/student discount! As for cancellations I do require a 48hour notice for drop in visits but I understand that it’s not always possible. My priority is caring for your furbabes above all. I only ask for a 48hour notice because I often have to turn other clients away when one is already booked. I unfortunately do not offer boarding. I am able to accommodate furbabes with special needs pets as I have a Pyrenees with hip dysplasia. Because of my medical background I am more than comfortable and experienced administering injections. I have a special place in my heart caring for geriatric or injured furbabes- I take extra time with them free of charge. I also am able to help care for small/ large breed pups and cats. I also have experience with livestock and spend extra time with gentle giants such as horses- I grew up in the Midwest and was always helping out on the farm

About: I have always loved animals and caring for them. I started animal care in highschool starting with pet sitting moving into shelter work. I really enjoyed being able to play with and care for animals of all kinds. Though I have a special love for cats, having three of my own. I truly just enjoy getting to meet and spend time with different animals. I also love being able to get in some exercise of my own while going on walks with dogs.. I’m currently working part time at a doggy daycare. Which gives me plenty of free time to fill! I look forward to filling it with your fur babies! I have a large fenced in yard to spend plenty of outside time in safely with your pet. All dogs must be cat friendly. We are no strangers to couch snuggles too!
About: I love dogs. I have been doing drop-ins and dog walking for two years. I got on Rover just recently. The time I spend on a drop-in or walk with your dog is 100% about them. Love is always a two-way street with dogs, and I enjoy bonding with them and caring for them. I work for myself so I have flexibility I just need a day's notice to set up a home visit. I enjoy walking and am walking everyday and would enjoy walking your dog. I currently do visits to the dogs place of residence and I accommodate whatever the particular dog is accustomed to in a loving way. It is very important to me that the dog feels comfortable where they're at as well as with me. This hasn't ever been an issue.
About: I have been around or taking care of dogs since I was about six years old. I grew up around dogs of all shapes and sizes. My first dream job was to be a veterinarian because of my love for animals, but dogs more than anything else. I love dogs, and I understand that dogs have their own personalities their own emotions their own likes their own dislikes and different ways to be cared for just like humans do.i treat dogs with respect and I treat dogs with love. I never call dogs “ it” I call them by their name and gender like they should be addressed. I’ve also volunteered more than once at K9 battle buddies. I know how to adapt to different dogs with different demeanors. I am a military veteran with more time on my hands than I used to have so why not spend this time taking care of walking, watching and playing with animals that I love If a dog is in my home, I will take care of them as if this dog is mine as if I brought this dog into my family. I will treat the dog love I will protect him or her as if they are my own. If I’m in the home of the owner, I’ll respect the dogs home as if I’m babysitting a child. I will respect the home of the owner as well.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
