“Tayler was incredible! She was so sweet and very caring to my two dogs and one cat. She was prompt and followed all the care instructions very well. Tayler also took and shared with us so amazing pictures! I loved seeing these updates and hearing how the animals were doing while we were away!”

About: I grew up on a farm, where caring for animals of all kinds—including dogs, cats, and livestock—was part of everyday life. I have 5+ years of experience raising dogs and 3 years working in a dog boarding facility, caring for multiple dogs with different needs, routines, and temperaments. I also worked for a veterinarian, gaining experience with safe handling, health awareness, and attentive care. In addition, I have 3 years of experience training puppies starting as young as 3 days old, focusing on early socialization, routine building, and positive reinforcement. Whether I’m caring for puppies, adult dogs, senior pets, cats, or farm animals, I provide dependable, loving, and detail-oriented care. I treat every animal like family and prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness while you’re away. I am a full time chiropractic student, so I will have time in the early morning and late evening on weekdays. I will also be available all day during the weekends! I care for pets by following their normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, including feeding, exercise, medications, and preferences. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I provide regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of affection. Safety and comfort are always my priorities, and I closely monitor behavior and health. I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, cats, and farm animals, and I adjust my care to fit each pet. I also send regular updates and photos so owners can feel at ease while away.
“Jessica did a wonderful job taking care of our 3 cats! Very attentive and responsive to text messages. She also gave very detailed updates. She will be our first choice the next time we need a petsitter, for sure!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and often helped out with my neighbors animals as needed. I enjoy walking so that is always good to have them as company I do work full time but my hours verify. So it would be good for those that don’t have the normal 9-5 job that everyone else has. Walking and playing and of course talking to them. Being aware and watching the dog truly helps understand what they need and when they need it
About: I've always had cats and dogs. I can't imagine a life without them! Currently, I have two dogs and two cats, from 5 years old to 13. They are all my babies. I've volunteered at several rescues over the years, both dogs and cats of all ages. I am not working a full-time job at this time, so I have lots of time for your kids. Whether they require play, or cuddles, or just need basic attention, they'll get whatever makes them happy I keep my kids in a routine so as not to cause them any stress. This would carry over to the client's home as well.

“100% above and beyond!! Due to the hiccups of moving into a new house, my spouse latched all the security latches on the doors that we gave Allie the key to. So when she got to our house (and we had already flown hundreds of miles), she was unable to get in. We called a locksmith and Allie met them at our house so they could get her in. We were so grateful because otherwise we would have had to cancel our entire trip (business trip for a course). In addition, our critters were on their worst behavior including peeing and pooping in the kennels. Allie spent extra time with them since we figured they must have been stressing out, between the move, having the house “broken into,” and us being gone. She definitely treated our critters like her own! Definitely would use her services again in the future! Thanks Allie, you’re a rockstar!!!!!!!”

“Glenn has been coming to my house for drop in visits weekly with my 3 dogs. He is reliable and takes excellent care of my beloved pets. He communicates well and is extremely flexible.. I highly recommend him.”

Their spoiled at their core! Let me spoil your pet too! Tuesdays are my only day of the week im not available. The rest of the week is open to work around my routine. Thank you I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to play and run. I have two pups to keep your pup company. About: My first job was working at a vet clinic with dogs and 20 years later I’m still passionate about what I do! I am a certified pet care technician with a lifetime of experience working with dogs. Also pet CPR certified. I have a dog grooming area on-site at home as well. Can sent text and photo updates. Professional, experienced, and I love dogs. I Look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I work with dog rescue and dedicate my life to dogs bc it's what I love! I am a current member of APDT Association of professional dog trainers, working towards my dog training certification. I love all breeds but I especially love working with bully breeds. Many boarding facilities do not allow these breeds of dog. Most are just big cuddle bugs, and I am happy to oblige!
About: I am a dog mom of two! They are my world, but I have never met an animal I didn’t like!! Small or big they are all special and need love!! I work as a caregiver in the evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30-10 and Friday 3:30-8. So I am available all other hours of the day. I also have the flexibility if I must to make a quick stop by during working hours if I need. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs who love making new friends and having play dates! I believe that the house is there home and they are welcome to sleep and lay on the couches and beds!!
About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

I am currently working a part time job so i am very flexible when it comes to taking care of your pet! Let me know with any questions you may have. I always make sure i ease into the animals space so that they are comfortable and geeked cared for. I am always cautious of other animals if we are on walks to protect the safety of your pet.
About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats! I can also bathe, feed, and make sure your pet has the best care. I am currently available to take care of your pet when I do have my days off, I will start substitute teaching soon so this could potentially affect my daytime availability. I have worked part-time at Petsense and I currently work at Tractor Supply, but I will work around my schedule at any point to try and help you with your fur babies! Personally, I treat my dog like he is my baby because he's part of my family. I love him very much and love to sit and play with him, give him snuggles, and take him with me on walks because I simply love being in the presence of animals. They make me so happy, and I do what I can to make sure your animals are happy and taken care of too. They deserve it!
“After some strike-outs with other pet sitters who only stay for the bare minimum and do the bare minimum, I found Terry on Rover. Perfect match. I spent the holidays worry free for the first time in a long time. Even when there was a small upset, Terry had everything under control. I could fill the page with a range of specifics, but to save time, I had no complaints. The house was in great condition when I returned. My indoor/outdoor cats were actually at home waiting for me. It is a relief to know there is a great pet care professional out there (with professional being the critical point!).”

About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. I can also work with security systems and keep your home safe and neat.
“This was our first booking with Jordan and it was great! She was prompt, professional, and kind. - 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
