I know how important it is to trust someone with your companion, so I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them comfort, consistency, and lots of love. My goal is simple: happy pets and peace of mind for you. I have owned pets my whole childhood and still raise two of my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home for most of the day, which allows me to give pets lots of attention, supervision, and consistent care. My daily routine is very pet-friendly, with plenty of time for walks, play, feeding schedules, and check-ins throughout the day. I have one child in elementary school and a younger child at home with me, so our days are structured but flexible. This means pets are rarely left alone and can be part of a calm, family-oriented environment. I’m mindful of each pet’s needs and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and included throughout the day. I understand the level of trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Every animal has their own comfort level, so I approach each one with patience, attentiveness, and respect for their boundaries. I focus on creating a safe, low-stress environment where they can feel secure and at ease. I’ll provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. I also like to keep pets mentally engaged with simple games, basic training reinforcement (if you’re working on anything), and sticking to their normal routine so they feel secure. Of course, I’ll always follow your instructions and your pet’s needs—whether that’s high-energy fun or a cozy, low-key day at home. I’ll also send updates and photos so you can see all the fun we’re having.

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience for our dogs. Our two dogs just spent two weeks with Diana at her home while we went abroad and I’ve never felt so good about leaving them with anyone before. Diana is a caring and fun caretaker and our dogs had the best time with her and her family at their lovely home. They even received some training and learned about agility with her. We received updates and photos daily which were gifts to us as we missed them while away. I’m relieved to know they have such a wonderful place to stay while we travel. 5 stars!”

“Our 3 dogs - 3yr old Lab, 12yr old Cairn Terrier x, and 15yr old Terrier x came back after I was gone for 12 days Healthy, Happy, Clean and Adjusted. Rachel is sweet, caring, educated and responsible with everything I had asked of her, especially the feeding routines that were different for each dog. She even made special feeding adjustments for my Cairn terrier who is very attached to me and will go on a “starvation diet” when feeling displaced from myself or our home, allowing her to eat on the couch where she felt most comfortable to do that. I would not expect that level of accommodation but was so happy to see her commitment for each pet to not miss any meals. Rachel sent pictures every day with them doing various things inside and outside the house which I enjoyed, and did a check in with me to see if I wanted daily photos or not. Of course I did! I also asked Rachel if she could pay special attention to my under weight 15yr old who is already older and frail, and will eat less when I’m gone as well. My 15yr old is partially blind and hard of hearing - she came back having put on a little weight, not coming back skinnier, which spoke volumes to how comfortable my senior dog with special needs was! I was so happy to see she had gained a pound or two which she needed! On the other hand, my 3yr old lab was at a perfect weight when I brought him, and gave strict instructions for the amount of food he gets as to NOT gain weight - as labs can do so quickly. He can back EXACTLY how I left him. I am VERY pleased with the care my pups received from Rachel and I highly recommend! -Trina”
