About: My wife and I have both grown up around dogs and absolutely love the warmth and loyalty that they provide. I had a Dachshund growing up, while my wife had a German Shepard, Mastiff, Yorkie, and a Vizsla. We currently have a rescue Jack Russel/Beagle mix who is absolutely full of love and energy every day! We both have experience with puppies and senior dogs. My wife has also had lots of experience with dog walking and sitting including caring for Golden Retrievers and Labs. I am originally from Roanoke, VA. After moving to Florida and working for the Walt Disney Company for 5 years, my wife and I moved back to Roanoke to be closer to family. We are fully available to help care for your fur baby! We have experience with crates and will happily crate any of your pets. We will always use our utmost respect, care, and love with your pets!
About: I have always loved dogs and got my first one at 16 years old! Being responsible pet owners, we took our dog to the vet to get his vaccinations and that experience opened my eyes to the field of veterinary medicine. Shortly after, I became a volunteer at that same clinic, and they hired me on as a Veterinary Assistant after a few months. I learned how to handle a variety of temperaments and how to read an animal's body language. I spent several years working that job and carried the experience with me through college and beyond in various other clinics before moving on to a different field of work. However, my love for dogs never waned and I have always craved additional time spent with pets, whether they be my own, or other people's. I'd love the opportunity to help care for your pet just as I always have with my own! I am currently a stay-at-home mom to two children: an elementary schooler, and a pre-schooler. My pre-schooler attends daycare 3 days per week which leaves me plenty of free time on those days to take care of your furbabies! I am happy to spend time with your pets in your home or yard, or out on a walk with a leash. If need be, I can even bring them home to my own backyard where I have 6 foot high fencing and a very friendly neutered male hound dog mix.
