“Nick is the best! Molly has never been left with a sitter, always boarded at kennels. This personal care was so reassuring. He sent pictures of Molly. She loved being there. Would give 10 stars if possible”

“Juel was wonderful! My dog, Grace, was smiling in every picture and was totally calm and happy when I came to pick her up. I’ll definitely be checking on Juel’s availability every time we take a trip and need boarding.”

“Jordan & Collin far exceeded our expectations! They took outstanding care of our two pups while we were away. We got lots of updates and they were very thorough with how things were going. One of our dogs had a birthday while we were away and they made sure to celebrate it and sent us lots of pictures! Jordan & Collin are dog people and it shows by how caring and thoughtful they were with our pups. They made any necessary accommodation to make our dogs comfortable. We are so grateful to have found them! We will definitely use them again when we travel and will recommend them to friends & family. They eased every fear we had about leaving our dogs and we cannot recommend them enough.”

“Kathy and her husband were amazing with our dog, Ruth! Ruth was happy and clearly well cared for when we picked her up from her stay with them. We had complete peace of mind on our vacation knowing she was in their care. We loved the pictures and updates too while she was with them. Kathy and her husband are kind and loving. Their home is very clean and welcoming. Thank you to them both! We will definitely use them again to watch Ruth!”

“Our dog Kona absolutely loved her time at Ambers. She had tons of fun playing with her dogs and came back happy and tired. Amber was great at communicating while we were away and sent us pictures of our dog. Would recommend!”

“Emily did a great job taking care of our dogs. This was our first time leaving them for more than 1 night and I felt confident she was taking good care of them. I think they loved her fenced in back yard.”

About: Hi, I am Marlene and I love just 5 Miles from Holiday World, Santa Claus, Indiana. l am self employed as a Senior Caregiver and a Dog Groomer. I have loved all animals my whole life and we have always had dogs in our home. I love all animals and even volunteered at the Louisville Zoo from the age of 13-15. Our animals are part of our family and priority in my life. It would be a privilege to care for your Pup Kids too, where they will receive lots of love, attention, and play time! Whatever your pet needs to be comfortable in my home, I will make sure they have the best experience possible. See me on Facebook under Pup Kids Groom N Board. I am self employed, so I can arrange my schedule to be available to care for your pup! I'm available for boarding hourly, daily and overnights. Short Notice = Less than 5 days will be an additional $20 to rearrange my work schedules. All pet’s safety is my first priority. I have 3 very friendly and social Mini Bernedoodles so vaccination records will be required before booking approval (Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper). My home is pet friendly and I allow morning zoomies and play in the house as well as pets on our couches. I have a large fenced backyard with a covered deck, as well as a completely fenced 1 acre beyond that. My fenced backyard is dog-friendly, clean and free of anything that could harm your pet. Because each dog is different, please inform me of any specific personalities or needs that I need to be aware of to keep your pat safe and happy.
“Courtney is wonderful! She took such great care of our pup and definitely put on minds at ease while we were away! I would definitely recommend Courtney for anyone who is needing help with their dogs - she’s amazing!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally. I have 1 dog and 4 cats at home and experience with everything from puppies to senior dogs who need extra help. Whether I’m stopping by your home or your dog is staying with me, I’ll treat them like my own—fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, love, and any meds they need. If they stay here, I have a fenced yard and two kids who love having extra pets around. I’m a stay at home mom with 2 kids, and have a pretty flexible schedule because we homeschool. Since I’m home most of the day, I can give your pet plenty of love and attention. I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening check ins. Whatever works best for you. If you ever need overnight care, your pet is more than welcome to stay at my house. If your pet is staying with me, I’ll do everything I can to help them feel comfy and loved. I have a fenced in backyard where they can potty and play. I’m home a lot since I homeschool my 2 kids, who are animal lovers too. If I’m coming to your house, I’ll do what you need me to do. Whether that’s feeding, going on walks, giving meds, or anything else your pet needs. I know how important routine is, and I’ll treat your pet and your home with respect.
“Austin was amazing with Koa! My family and I appreciate him helping us out on short notice when we had to go out of town unexpectedly. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Thank you again!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was young, and always had pets in my home! I am a huge huge animal lover! We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We love all animals! I have been a Stay at Home Mom since my girls were born. Now that they are older, I’m looking for new things to do that I enjoy, and can still be around for my family when they need me. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs run and play in, a detached garage with an attachment. Inside the attachment there is a couch, TV, AC, and heat, with plenty of room to run around and play! It makes a nice little hang out spot. We come out here to play and run around at times. There is also a security camera in the attachment as well. Dog must be potty trained, and good with other dogs and cats. Please be honest, so it won’t cause conflict while taking care of your baby and others. If we take care of larger dogs, they will stay in the attachment and not in the house.
About: I have had animals ever since I was born. My grandma had a ranch in Wyoming, and I have owned my own pet since I was 8. I am available for boarding on weekends after 3. During the week I work full time, but am available to sit or walk in the evenings. I have a fenced in yard and a golden doodle and retriever. I also have my own crates so if your dog needs kenneled you don’t have to bring your own. I am available for in house sitting as well. I will send a ton of pictures so you know your fur baby is getting taken care of.
About: When I was 10, my siblings and I opened a dog boarding business that was my window into pet care. When I was 15, I got my first real job at a dog boarding business, from there I worked at a veterinary clinic where I took care of sick and senior dogs. Ages 17-18 I was a manager at a pet store. I have professionally trained several dogs and have worked with anxious and high drive breeds. I do have a full time job I have every Tuesday and Wednesday off and have short days on weekends, despite sometimes being busy with work I always make sure my dog gets plenty of exercise and enrichment, the same would apply for your dog. I live in a nice quiet area and love taking dogs for walks, my dog does great with dogs and cats. I do not have a fenced in yard, but there is a large grassy patch outside my home where I would provide your dog with time to run around on the long lead. I am a firm believer that exercise and enrichment counters anxiety.
“You can tell that Nathan is a natural when it comes to dogs. He's very easy-going and just loves all dogs. He sent photos daily as well as updates on how our retriever was doing. He said she was nervous the first day, so he let her lay on the couch with him while he worked. He also has a great worry-free fenced in backyard. He took her for walks and adjusted to her medicine/feeding schedule. When we had a change in plans for our vacation, he was even accommodating on keeping her an extra day. We are happy to find him and plan to use him again for our next vacation.”

“Kyla took great care of Moe! She listened to his needs and he was so happy. I appreciate how she updated us and made sure he had what he needed. I would recommend her for anyone!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old starting with caring for my grandmother's dog when she went out of town. I currently work full-time, but only work 3 shifts per week so I would be home to give your dog the best care and attention! I have a fenced in yard and room for your dog to run. I have an extra bedroom to crate your dog, if I have to leave for a short time.
About: I bring 13 years of professional animal care experience, including roles in general practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and lab diagnostics. As a former vet tech, I’m skilled in medication administration, symptom monitoring, and anxiety management. For the past three years, my husband and I have run a private, in-home doggie daycare and overnight boarding service. We offer one-on-one play, a spacious quarter-acre fenced yard, and a secure, cozy indoor space tailored for comfort and enrichment. With no other pets or children in the home, your dog receives our full attention—supervised 24/7 and cared for like family. Doggy daycare and boarding is our full-time focus, and we’re home 24/7 to provide attentive, personalized care. Each day begins at 8:00am with one-on-one enrichment play in our spacious, fenced backyard. We avoid group play for safety, only allowing interaction between bonded pairs. This approach lets us welcome dogs who may not thrive in traditional daycare settings. After morning play, pups rest before and after meals to prevent bloat, then enjoy relaxed indoor time on our cozy futon or human-sized dog bed. Outdoor breaks and play continue throughout the day until dinner at 5:00pm, followed by evening rest and a final potty break at 10:00pm. All dogs are monitored via live-feed cameras, ensuring constant supervision. Our goal is to make every stay feel like a safe, joyful home away from home. If you require greater than 8 hours of doggy daycare, pricing will go up to reflect the number of hours needed and the level of care we provide as well as your dog or puppy's needs. Your pup will enjoy full access to our home’s main floor, outfitted with baby gates, plush dog beds—including a human-sized one for large breeds or bonded pairs—and sunny rugs by vintage windows perfect for lounging. During the day, dogs are never kenneled and can freely explore both indoors and our spacious, fenced backyard filled with squirrels and birds to chase. At night, all pups sleep safely in kennels, monitored by a live-feed camera system that streams directly to our phones. We welcome dogs of all ages and sizes, and I’m also experienced in caring for reptiles and amphibians. Safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we’re happy to answer any questions during your meet and greet.

Dale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Bennie went from the car— to Nick immediately— and didn’t even care where I was! Great experience for our first over night stay! Superb communication throughout the whole caretaking, along with many pictures of Bennie! Love the fact he always had someone present during his stay. When picking Bennie up- I got great information on how he ate and interacted with others. Definitely a 5 star boarding experience. Will be giving Nick a call again! 🐕

Nick G did an excellent job dog sitting our Yellow Lab, Oakley. From start to finish, his service was top-notch. He provided great communication and kept us updated throughout, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. Oakley was clearly well cared for, and we could tell he was happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Nick if you’re looking for someone dependable and attentive to watch your dog!

We are so happy we boarded our dog with Nick while we went to Holiday World! He's an anxious little dog and really doesn't like kennels, so we tried rover.com for the first time. Staying with Nick was like having our dog stay with a friend. It's obvious he likes dogs, and he has a calming presence. He also sent us lots of updates and pictures and videos. Normally when we pick our dog up after a visit away from us he acts all upset with us, but he was fine and happy this time. We highly recommend Nick!
