“Took care of my babies just like I asked. Received plenty of photos. One of my dogs is more difficult due to her medication schedule and her personality but Rachel did an amazing job with her. Will book again in the future.”

“Rebecca did an amazing job caring for justice. She made sure to cater to her every need, even adjusting times when needed. I usually kennel justice when I go away so this was my 1st time using this type of service and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Rebeccah for taking such good care of my baby and calming my nerves.”

About: Raised with animals big and small, I now care for 7 of my own. I’m passionate, patient, and skilled in both puppy training and senior pet care. l’m free everyday after 9am! Any day of the week I will be able to help with any needs that you and your pet will need! I prioritize safety by pet-proofing spaces and closely monitoring pets at all times. I create a calm, clean environment built on trust to keep pets comfortable and secure in any home.

“She took great care of my diabetic cat, Sarah. She needs shots twice a day. Jennifer let me know what her schedule was if there were any minor conflicts where an adjustment might be needed. We have a robot litter box which, of course, malfunctioned while we were out of town. She called and FaceTime with me so we could come up with a solution. (Sometimes those litter boxes seem more trouble than they’re worth???) Came home to a clean house and a happy cat. Thanks Jennifer!!”

About: I have always loved and been around animals my whole life. My grandparents had a mini farm and I would take care of my brother's dog when he would have to work. This care included walking, feeding, and bathing his dog. I also use to work part-time at Adams Farm Animal Hospital in Greensboro NC as a Kennel Attendant and Veterinary Assistant. I'm currently a full-time college student so I'll have time to take care of your pup whenever I don't have classes. I also work as a Dental Assistant Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. I’m still available during the week but I’m available all day all weekend. Though I stay in an apartment there are a lot of areas for your dog and me to go on long walks. My apartment complex also has a dog park. I can also crate your dog if you would like.

“I can’t recommend Kaylan enough! From the very beginning, she went above and beyond, not just checking the boxes, but truly caring for my animals like they were her own. Her updates were the perfect mix of hilarious and helpful (seriously, I looked forward to them like a mini comedy show), and they gave me total peace of mind while I was away. The real magic? My skittish barn cat, who usually acts like humans are a myth, actually walked past her like she belonged there. That’s a miracle in itself and says everything about her energy and patience. She clearly has a genuine knack for animals, even the tough cookies. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only responsible but has a true gift with animals (and a great sense of humor), Kaylan is the one!”

“Amanda is wonderful! I was worried about leaving my cat for the first time since other cat very recently passed away and Amanda put my worries to ease. Lucy was a happy girl and very well taken care of! She is normally shy and testy but even gave Amanda some attention while she was there which is big for her! I would absolutely recommend Amanda and would request her help again!”

“Brielle was amazing! I booked her super last minute and she made time to come meet us before. She communicated well and took such good care of Khaleesi! 10/10!!! I will be using her again for sure!!”

About: I love animals and enjoy meeting new friends and would enjoy watching your doggy when you can't. I have owned or cared for Poodles, Tibetan Spaniel, Toy Fox Terrier, Whippet, Havanese, Pit Bull mix, Golden Retriever, and others from the long list of dogs. I also have owned several cats and have cared for cats including giving them medicine. Please feel free to ask any questions. I homeschool my kids and also do childcare, so I enjoy a chance to get out of the house alone. Getting paid to exercise is bonus! I treat my client's pets like I would want my pets to be treated. I also treat their house the way I would want someone to treat my house. I follow directions and ask questions if I don't understand the instructions. My moto is to leave a space better than I found it. If that means taking a few more minutes to clean up a mess that a pet has made than that is what I will do.

“KELLY IS SO AWESOME!!!! MY BABY TRIGGER LOVED HER AND SHE RETURNED SHOWED HIM THAT HE WAS AND IS LOVED... SHE WAS ON TIME AND DID EVERYTHING THAT I ASKED OF HER WHILE TAKING CARE OF MY BABY. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS APP AND USING KELLY. SHE WOULD BE THE 1ST PERSON I REQUEST WHEN I NEED THIS SERVICE AGAIN..”

About: Spent my entire life around various types of pets (Cats, Dogs, Reptiles) to include a few exotic animals. I have additionally trained all of my own pets through the years through time and repetition. I love animals and treat them as I would any human. They are after all mans best friend (Doesn't just apply to dogs). I am currently Active Duty Military, however I am available most weekends as well as early morning time frames and later afternoon/evenings. Talk to me about what your needs are and more than likely I can accommodate. I have a decent sized yard with 4 friendly and well trained dogs of my own, if your dog were to be at my house. If Not I have the option to bring one of my furry friends for a play date during a check in or whatever may be required. My dogs range from senior to Junior age group (2 years to 11). Communication is key, you tell me what you need or would like to see and I do what I can to accommodate. Quality care for our friends is what I aim to provide.

“Laura is a great pet boarder and my 2 cats were very comfortable with her and her family. (Thanks so much for taking wonderful care of them.) She sent me frequent pictures and I was surprised to see my shy boy actually coming to them for pets! She was also flexible with times which was a blessing as we were traveling out of town. We would absolutely board with them again!”

About: I have experience working with animals of all breeds/species. I used to work for a boarding/daycare/grooming facility that was also connected to a vets office. I’m familiar with farm animals, dogs, cats, most small pets, and reptiles. I had my own horse for 17 years. Currently I have two German Shepherds who are both 4 years old- so I’m very familiar with working breeds! *I have experience with administering medications and animal first aid* I’m currently a stay at home mom and have full availability. More than likely my son will be with me for drop in visits- but for house sitting, arrangements can be made if necessary! With my two being a working breed we go on a lot of walks, and play a lot of fetch. But they also know how to be couch potatoes! Either way I can follow the lifestyle your pet is used to whether it be cuddles and lounging or going outside to play. I’m all about communication so pictures and daily check ins are something I like to provide!

“Robert was amazing with my two dogs! He kept me updated with photos and took great care of them while I was away. They were happy and relaxed when I got back. Highly recommend him!”

Daneil L.
“It was a joy to have DaNeil stay at our house and watch our pets. Knowing we had a trustworthy person at our house helped me to relax while away more than I have in the past. She not only cares for the pets' basic needs, but treats them like her family pets, giving them the attention, cuddles, exercise, and pampering they deserve. The dogs were less anxious upon my return from vacation, as they have been on other trips. DaNeil does a wonderful job, and I would hire her again, without hesitation.”

James C.Star Sitter
“Do not hesitate at the “New to Rover.” James may be new Rover, but he’s not new to animals or expert animal care. Self-admittedly, I was a bit nervous to contact James only because he was new to Rover - but all it took was one conversation to put me at total ease and want to work with James. James is very caring, loving, attentive, thoughtful, supportive, flexible, dependable, accommodating, professional, and has a great love for all types of animals. James is very respectful of ground rules, great at communication, provides updates via lots of photos, and ensures pet’s individual needs are met. My experience: I booked James to help with my terminally ill cat, Buddy. I needed immediate daily drop-ins over a period of several weeks and reached out to several Rover Sitters. None were open to the long-term commitment except James. James responded to my query expeditiously, took time to hear what was going on with Buddy, came and did a meet and greet the same day, and adjusted his own schedule to start drop ins the very next morning! The prompt response, willingness to help on such short notice and accommodate and commit to such a lengthy timeframe, did not go unnoticed and I cannot express how much of a peace of mind it provided to me as a fur baby owner. James’ commitment to animals was evidenced even more when Buddy’s needs required upping visits to twice daily on a very short notice (starting the next morning after informing James). Despite the short notice and having a full-time job (Active Duty Military at that!), family, and pets of his own to take care of - James sorted his own schedule around just to ensure Buddy was taken care of. James took care of Buddy as if he was his own furbaby. He cared not just for Buddy’s physical health, but also Buddy’s mental health. James even took the initiative (without any payment from me) to come spend some quality time with Buddy in an effort to become a familiar face for Buddy and increase Buddy’s level of comfort around James. This is “service,” no, it’s CARE that goes above and beyond. Even weeks after service ended, James still occasionally texts (he asked me if it was okay to do so first, which is so considerate and thoughtful) to check-in on Buddy. James has even provided advice and served as emotional support for us in regards to Buddy, at zero cost! The effort James put in during visits and on his own dime/time is beyond admirable and shows James truly cares deeply for animals. We feel as if though we didn’t hire a sitter for Buddy, but instead found a life-long friend of Buddy’s. My recommendation: If you’re looking for someone to take care of your furbabies, rest assured, they will be in great hands with James and will be taken care of with a level of care that amounts to as if they were James’ own.”
