“We were Noah’s first official clients on Rover, decided to take a chance with him since he lived closer to our home than other sitters. Overall, Noah was great! He took care of our three dogs and two cats. Dogs seemed to love him and one of our cats was sitting on his lap day one. Our second cat is very skittish and he made sure to keep an eye out for her (she loves to hide from strangers) and kept us updated on when he saw her sneaking around. Her kept the house clean and well-maintained. Messaged us immediately with any concerns about the home, and we were able to fix any problems quickly. About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for about 5 years. I currently have a 4 year old Aussie border collie mix who has reactivity issues and is very timid so i have taken training classes on how to work with a dog in situations like that. i also grew up in a house with multiple different sizes and breeds of dogs. I work part time at a restaurant in town and have a dog of my own but i do understand what it’s like to need some time away and make sure your pup is in trusted hands. I live on alittle over an acre with a cattle dog who is very high energy. we go on 3 4 mile walks a week and he is able to come and go from the house whenever he pleases. He is crate trained and he is on a strict feeding schedule. I get him groomed once a month and regular vet visits for up to date shots.

About: I have taken care of my own pets since I was a little girl. We have had all kinds of animals from small breed yorkies, medium breed Boston terriers, all the way to large breed bloodhounds. We also have one loving cat I’ve taken care of from the day we got her almost 15 years ago! I have sat for my family and friends with their animals while on vacations or long work days while I was in high school. I have experience in raising a puppy all the way down to helping senior pets into there final days. I have been told that I’m an animal whisperer that even the uncommon animals that only have their few favorite people warm up to me instantly! I have free time after work and on the weekends that I would love to spend with someone’s furry babies to help them have an easier time while on vacations or anytime they’re away from the home for longer than comfortable leaving there babies alone. When caring for other families animals I like to have a run down of their typical day and a list to make sure their routine is interrupted as minimum as possible. In my home, we do breakfast and potty breaks first thing in the morning. We play a little before work then get treats and tucked in for the day. Once I get home we do potty break and play time until dinner time. I know how important a routine can be for an animals comfort and the parents.

About: In addition to caring for my own dogs, I work as a Dog Daycare Attendant and have been offering Rover services for three years. I have also worked as a Kennel Tech and Adoption Counselor in Animal Welfare. I am able to read dog and cat body language and assess your pet’s behaviors and personalities to care for them as well as possible. I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. I also have experience working with “difficult” dogs and special needs pets. I do accept unspayed/unneutered pets as well. I love spending my days with animals and would love the opportunity to meet yours! I’m a student at VCU and I work as a Dog Daycare Attendant. The addition of caring for pets on Rover is very rewarding! I have weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. I make sure every need is met and follow pet owner’s instructions. About: Hello! I have been taking care of pets, my own, for 17 years. I grew up with cats that were my responsibility, and am now a dog owner. I have fostered puppies and currently care for a (near) senior dog. I am pretty flexible with my schedule, and with advanced notice, I can usually meet most requests made. I do take time to travel with my dog on weekends, so I may not be available for weekend boarding. I have a room dedicated as a dog space in my home, and I have the ability to crate dogs as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a tie out cord and leash for dogs that need more attention outdoors.

About: I have been a dog owner for as long as I can remember and a cat owner since 2008. I strive to care for any pet just like they were my own. I plan to utilize all of my pet care giving knowledge to ensure that each pet under my care receives the best of my services. If one has a pet that has special needs, such as deafness, then I have experience with caring for special needs pets. I also cared for uncommon pets, such as snakes and cockatiels, and am willing to house sit or pet sit for anyone who are owners of these types of pets. In regards to house sitting, I will be sure to keep each room clean and organized and care for any pets in the house. I work as a dog groomer Tuesday through Saturday, but I am able to take Hamilton with me to work. On the days I'm off, Hamilton and I play fetch, tug, and watch TV. I have a spare crate for any dog to be boarded at my place, and Hamilton loves to play with any dog, cat, or person.
