About: There hasn't been a moment in my life without a pet in the house and what a joy it's been! Everything from puppies to senior dogs, police k-9's, reactive dogs, cats, strays, lost animals for the night, turtles, hamsters, hedgehogs, and everything in between! I don't discriminate when it comes to my love for animals. I recently moved to Lakeland to pursue my master's in social work, and my childhood / school years dog lives with my dad in Wisconsin. I couldn't think of a better way to get my animal fix than helping others when they can't be home for their sweet babies! Your pets in my care will feel liked a spoiled day at grandma's 😊 I'll make sure to send lots of pictures and updates ! I have classes two nights a week, Monday & Tuesday from 5-9. I'm currently looking for more full time work, so for now my schedule is very open! I'm well equipped to handle all sorts of animals and needs. Whether it's giving medications, helping with crate or potty training, basic obedience, etc I'm happy to help! I live in a quiet apartment that has access to a fenced in dog park on the premise. I will only use the park if it's unoccupied by other dogs. There's also a beautiful walking trail just minutes away! My home is smoke free, child free, and I have lots of experience in puppy proofing. Other than that, I have a roommate who desperately misses her pets back home in NC and also wants to share the love !

“Belle was a fantastic caretaker for our 12-year-old furry baby Scout. He can be a bit of a challenge since he is older and deaf. Belle sent us some pictures of him during our 6-night trip out-of-town. Scout looked happy, bright eyed and alert. Belle left the home neat, tidy and smelling clean and sanitized. I would recommend Belle without any hesitation. She will be first on my list to call when we need her to watch Scout in the future.”

“Alison was great! It was our first time leaving our golden, and his first time spending even a night without his mom or dad. I work from home 99% of the time and he’s a true Velcro dog, following me everywhere. So I was very worried about how he’d do without me, and vice versa. Alison was great with him and made time to come for a few walks in the weeks before we left so she and Santo could get to know each other a bit. After we left she checked in with us and sent us photos and updates about our baby, which helped me worry less about whether he was feeling sad or abandoned. She was respectful of our home and even asked before signing into a streaming account we don’t have. And when we got stuck in nightmare traffic on I-4 on the way home from the airport, she stayed past the time booked for our stay so Santo wasn’t alone.”

I work remotely so your animal will have someone home with them all hours of the day! I can take dogs for walks and to the dog park. They will also be able to play with my animals.
