About: I have many years of experience with animals . Growing up , we always had cats & dogs. Since I've been an adult, I've had many people who rely on me time & time again to watch their pets & homes. I'm looking to add new clients. I'd love to watch your fur babies in your home. I can do day, night or week, drop ins and walks. Whatever, you need I'm sure we can come to an agreement! Let's chat! I currently work full time in Middlebury Monday - Friday 7:30 -3:15. I am available around those times. Overnights, weekends and some holidays if needed. I unfortunately can't do lunchtime drop ins. However, I could drop in after or before work. School will be out soon I'll have more availability. I currently can't have pets in my home. I'd love to take care of your pets in their own home if you're okay with that. I do work so I'd be gone for part of the day but will make sure I'm there right after work. I work at a school so I have all summer available. Extra love for your furbabies .

About: My name is Melissa and I have taken care of animals since my first dog in second grade. I previously had a Labrador and Shih-Tzu who both lived until old age. I also fostered older dogs who could not find homes due to their age. I currently have a one year old yellow lab mix. He’s dog and cat friendly. In order to board your dog, your dog must be dog friendly. I also require a meet and greet to ensure it’s a good fit. I offer boarding in my home. I live in a second story apartment in an old building with a large yard. There is a picture of my apartment located within my pictures. I only board one animal at a time as it's a one bedroom apartment. It allows me to spend quality time with your pet! For boarding I do provide food dishes and toys, but many animals prefer to have some of their own. I also have a medium sized dog crate if required and requested. I have open availability on weekends, however I work from home on weekdays and there may be times I need to be out of my home for up to three hours. I have a camera in my home and will be able to remotely check on your pet if I need to be away for work. I will always inform you prior to the booking if I have appointments out of the home. I am experienced feeding animals in a variety of ways and will follow your instructions on feeding and walking. I ensure animals are well cared for, played with, and that they receive the attention and care needed.

About: I’ve been an animal lover and caretaker my whole life. I have novice vet tech experience and I’m not afraid of the feisty ones, either! I’m working full time but my shift currently runs from 5pm to 1am Tues-Sat, so I am available for walks, play sessions, and pet/house sitting as needed around those hours. Working hours subject to change every few weeks. I like to have fun with my furry friends. I’m not afraid to get down and dirty, or even rough when the zoomies come out.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, but in the past year have expanded my experience to include all sorts of animals, from goats to geckos to rabbits to a snail. I’m a daycare teacher by day and am looking to fill my evenings and weekends with quality animal time! I’m available for late afternoon/evening walks, weekend visits, and house sits depending on timing and location. Available after 4:30 most weekdays and on weekends! I work during the day, but may be able to handle morning visits depending on your location. Let me know what your need is and I’ll see what I can do! I live in a small apartment with my cat, so I’d prefer to care for your animal at your home. I love doing overnight housesits when I’m available! I feel this is the most comfortable option for your pet to feel safe around a new person.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I grew up on a small hobby farm with goats, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. When I was younger I helped train 2 Border Collie/Australian Sheppard mix puppies. I have a good sense of what animals need and am very patient and loving with all animals. I have a infant daughter who will be accompanying me with most my drop in visits. She will be in a backpack while I take care of your furry friend. I am available most mornings, nights and weekends. I love being outside and love being around animals. I have little ones (2 young daughters) but they will be able to come with me on occasion and they are also pet lover themselves. About: I’ve had 15 + years working in animal rescue and have always had dogs and cats from childhood. My pets are my babies and I’d love to provide the same care yours in their own space when you have to be away. I currently work from home with a very flexible schedule so it’s easy for me to adjust to provide for your pets comfort with multiple visits as needed.. I can provide multiple short walks or one long one. My own dogs love a 1.5 hour mid day hike which we can include your dog on if he/she is friendly with others.

I've helped to take care of small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work as a middle school teacher, so I would be available to take care of your dog in the evenings and on the weekends. I have a large shared backyard that could be used to throw a ball of frisbee with dogs. My house is close to the Burlington Bike Path which would allow for easy access to walk. My apartment is also spacious enough for your pet to be able to roam or big enough to accommodate a crate if needed.

About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. About: Hi! I'm an experienced house and petsitter who truly loves the animals in my care. I've watched pets for many friends and families. I discovered my love of animals while living in Australia when I was asked to live in a family friend's home for six months to watch their aging border collie and cat. I then became a daily dog walker for a yellow lab while her primary caretaker was working; I have also looked after a rat terrier, an Irish terrier, and three labradoodles with regularity. I was a Canine Companion at my local SPCA, having completed a thorough training program there, as well as a volunteer with the local ambulance corps.
