About: I’ve grown up always having cats and dogs, and I value their companionship more than anything! Not only have I taken care of my own fur babies, but I’ve had other family members and friends ask for my time to take care of their pets while they were away, which is why I decided to come here and make myself useful to you! I’m currently in school for my undergraduate degree, so taking care of animals is a great full time position for me and helps me better understand different animals’ needs! My parents have two pug/pekingese mix at home that I frequently sit for, and they’re also crate trained. They’re also used to potty breaks every two hours in my parents’ fenced in yard. We also have cats which I take care of and we clean their litter boxes twice a day.
“Lorie did a phenomenal job taking care of my 5 precious kitties while I was away. She is a beautiful soul with an exceptionally kind and sparkly personality. She was really diligent about arriving as arranged and making sure the cats were tended to. I always looked forward to seeing the updates after she visited and she did a fabulous job of providing me with lots of pictures of my furry sweethearts. She was also very accommodating when our plans changed unexpectedly and patient when we had issues with our security system. I hope she would come back again to pet sit for us if needed in the future! Thank you again for everything, Lorie. You are wonderful!”

About: I grew up with a dog, and currently live with a cat. I’ve spent recent years petsitting or walking the dogs of family friends and neighbors, but hope to offer the same attention to your pets now. I take excellent care in guiding your pets on walks, or in making sure they are fed and enriched in playtime at home. I am off of work for the summers, so I have plenty of time to share with your pets! My schedule is incredibly flexible so feel free to reach out with whenever you need pet care. As I will be providing pet care in your home, I will be sure to follow any outlines you provide to best care for your home and your pet’s safety. This can including crating your pet, or ensuring any gates are closed, among other requests you may have.
About: I got my first dog when I was 4, and I’ve had at least one dog in my life since that time. I currently have 2 medium-large doggies (senior) and one cat (also a senior). It’s a geriatric household! I have had the pleasure of walking dogs/pets for neighbors during my childhood and throughout my college years. I have also done week long pet sitting for a border collie and golden doodle— both were excellent! While my dogs are aging, they don’t get out and around like they used to, but they are still showered with love, snuggles and warm blankies. I am comfortable with all types of walks, dog breeds, a quick bathing if needed, light cleanups (we all make messes from time to time!), medications and feeding if needed. While I am currently working as a NP in the community, I do have space in my schedule to get out and about for some walks and can dog sit during the day at my home as I work from home the majority of my week. I am pretty flexible and like to pride myself in making just about anything work! I have a fully fenced in yard that is open and has very few obstacles (some toddler toys!). I do have a toddler who has been growing with her pet siblings and is very respectful of animals. Child friendly pets would be my priority at this time. My dogs are pretty well loved and have free range in our home and outside, and I will do my best to accommodate any specific rules or expectations that your dog may have/follow.
About: My husband and I have been caring for all types of animals since we can remember! I've had dogs since I was 8. Our two puppies are very high energy hunting dogs, so we are used to providing LOTS or excersice! We are familiar with all sorts of animals and I have worked in the wildlife rehabilitation field for 3 years. We can deal with picky eaters, whiners, and anything in bewtween. We live on 40 acres so your pup will have lots of room to run! We are all excited to meet your puppies! We work full time so are only available to give your dog undivided attention during evenings and weekends right now! We may also be able to flex weekday care! Both our dogs are crate trained. They are very high energy hunting dogs, so we are used to providing LOTS of excersice! We use GPS tracking collars on them so they are rarely leashed, but are leash trained. Both eat twice a day. We also have 3 cats. I work full time with a varying schedule, and my husband works a full time regular schedule. We make time for our pets every day to run and have fun, and will make sure to do the same for yours! We have a fenced in yard to keep every body safe, but we also go on lots of adventures! I feed all dogs separately. We make sure every pet in our home is treated with love and respect to them and their owners!
About: What sets me apart is heart-led care—personalized attention, reliable routines, and genuine love that makes every pet feel safe, happy, and at home. I structure my schedule around feeding, walks, playtime, and individualized attention, ensuring each pet receives consistent care, supervision, and affection throughout the day. I offer a large, fully fenced backyard for plenty of safe roaming, a calm pet-only home with no other free roaming animals or children, and a clean, non-smoking environment.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I have a dog we rescued when I was pregnant with my first child almost 8 years ago. She is the best dog ever but unfortunately doesn't do well with other animals due to being a rescue dog and her history with the people before us. So I'm not able to dog sit at my house but would gladly come to yours! I'm not working at the moment as I'm a stay at home mom with 3 kids. I am available any day normally anytime but I would like to have a advance notice if possible. I do have a fenced in yard. I would rather come to my clients home if possible due to having a rescue dog and she doesn't always do well with other animals.

“Cassie was wonderful! She took adorable photos and kept us up to date on our cat and his mischievous acts. She also cleaned up said acts! When we got back from our vacation our cat was very happy. I definitely recommend her!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 66 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Crestline. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Crestline. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
