About: I have over 25 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds, with a primary focus on dogs and cats. I grew up around animals and have continued working with them throughout my adult life, both personally and professionally. I currently have a chihuahua/bulldog mix named Miiso, who I trained myself, as well as a speckled king snake named Olive (my favourite animals are females named after food). In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve cared for rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and other exotic animals, so I’m comfortable following detailed care routines and respecting each animal’s unique needs. I’m extremely attentive, safety-focused, and naturally good at reading animal behavior, which helps me build trust quickly, even with shy or hesitant pets. I’m a self-employed artist and musician, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on pet care. I care for pets as if they were my own, closely following their normal routines for feeding, exercise, and rest. About: I have two dogs of my own. Charlie and biscuit, one is 2 and the other is 10. I’ve been through all the puppy stages and learning to navigate the senior dog stage. I work full time during the day but free on the weekends and in the afternoon during the week. I love staying busy and active. About: I've owned dogs all of my life, worked with K-9 units during my 12 years in the military and I am a P..TS.D. service dog handler. I am trained in canine C.P.R and work in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. I am able to administer oral and injected medications if need be. I am also able to provide care for special needs dogs and have experience with senior dogs and puppies. I live close to 3 different vet facilities, 2 of which provide emergency care, I don't believe that there is such a thing as a bad dog or bad breed. Retired military and now retiring from Emergency Veterinary Medicine, so I'm now available 24/7 for pet care, walks and pet sitting, check-ins and even just stopping by to help administer medications, fluids or treatments prescribed by your veterinarian. Animals thrive on love and attention just like people do. Interaction and activity are crucial to physical and mental health. The only difference between humans and animals is that they're covered in fur and we have opposable thumbs.

About: Hello, my name is Sherri. I am a mom of six, Nonna to three grandbabies, and a mom to two fur babies: a Bassdore (Basset hound/Lab mix) named Abbey and a tabby named Birdie. Although I am new to pet sitting, I have cared for dogs (mostly) and cats throughout my life. As adults, my late husband and I have owned numerous breeds of dogs, from Chihuahuas and German Shepherds to Siberian Huskies, an Akita, and several mixed breeds. I also frequently look after my daughter's three dogs when she goes out of town. I've used Rover and other pet sitting services many times when I travel, so I understand how reassuring it is to know your pets are well cared for while you’re away. I am available for Drop-In Visits and Boarding. My kids (still at home), ages 9 and 18, love all animals, so your fur baby will never lack attention! I am currently not working, so I have some flexibility. I do have to take my high schooler to school and pick him up from after-school activities, and I have to be home to put my 3rd grader, who is special needs, on the bus and be home in the afternoon to get him off the bus. For Boarding: I have a spacious fenced yard with a covered patio. My Basset Hound Lab mix, Abbey, enjoys playdates. If your pet prefers solitude, I can close off the living room and dining/kitchen area to keep them separated. My boys, who are still at home, are 9 and 18, and they will give lots of love and attention. For drop-in visits, I am happy to provide any necessary care and handle extra tasks such as watering plants, retrieving the mail, or taking out the trash. However, I cannot do walks due to a wonky knee, which limits my walking distance.
