“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Samantha!!! My mom lives in Aurora Mo and I live 9 hours away in Wisconsin, my mom ended up in the hospital and I had no one to go let her dogs out. Samantha answered my message for help in just minutes saying she could assist with taking care of the dogs. She was even able to let them out and feed them the SAME NIGHT as my distress message. Set up 2 more visits for the next day as well because my dad wouldn’t be home until later that night. Samantha made me feel so at ease with entering my mom’s house without meeting her, taking care of my mom’s dogs that are her babies and locking back up! I was grateful for the pictures she sent of them so I knew they did indeed go potty. I sent the pictures to my mom and she cried knowing they were being well taken care of. About: I've taken care of several dogs and cats for friends and neighbors, whether that's just checking in or staying overnight. I am avaliable to accompany the pets for extended hours or days. Pet sitting is my full time job, so I am usually available whenever! I'm able to either stay with the pets or check on them periodically. I am able to watch pets at a client's house, always keeping an eye on them and making sure they're doing alright. I prefer visiting and/or staying in their environment, making sure the pets more comfortable and less stressed.

About: I have taken care of pets for over 33 years ever since getting my first dog at 7 years old. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and shapes including a Lhasa Apso, King Charles Spaniel, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull, Shihpoo, and Heeler/Daschund mix. They’ve ranged in ages from 8 week old puppy to 5 year old rescue when I brought them home and I nursed many through their senior years. Of course I love all pets so I’ve also had Bunnies, Fish, Cats, hermit crabs, frogs, and more. I love them all! Currently in my home I have a 1 year old Shihpoo name Mocha and a 5 year old Heeler/Dauschund mix named Luna. I promise to take care of your fur babies just as if they were mine! I am a single mother with lots of time on my hands to love on pets. I have a daughter in Junior High and a son in High School so I do run them back and forth to their activities but otherwise I’m ready to spend time with the fur babies. I have a fenced in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I have a couple big trees for shade while pets are playing outdoors and a covered back porch for relaxing.

About: We love dogs! We are called first when any of our friends go out of town. We have cared for dogs of all sizes and ages from older doxies to young mutts and we love large rotties too. We are also okay with special needs dogs and we make sure your dog gets their medications when scheduled. Our lab loves to make new friends with dogs of all sizes. We have a nice privacy fenced in back yard with a kiddie pool to help the dogs keep cool during the summer even though they will spend most of the time inside. Please know that if your pup stays with us he or she will be treated like a part of the family. We love dogs! I help my Dad on his farm only when I'm not scheduled to care for a pup I'm hosting. I'm free to stay at home all day with your pet. I always keep an eye on what's going on. I'm usually outside if our pups are. If I'm watching a pet at your home, I don't make messes.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for four years now watching my sister‘s dogs and my neighbors dogs and my dad‘s friends dogs for a long time now and I’ve grown to love it so I thought it would be nice to be able to help other people as well!! I’ve been babysitting for the last two years for two year-old. I started babysitting her when she was two months old, but I only babysit her 1 to 2 days a week so I’m free quite a lot. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
