About: I have taken care of my own and others pets for 50+ years. I have 3 indoor dogs of my own and have become the official ball thrower to the smallest of my pets because she loves to play fetch. I also care for the Hummingbirds yearly that visit my yard from March till September. I have a full time job but can feed, walk and care for your pets needs after 5 on weekdays and all weekend beginning at 5 on Friday evening. I will care for your pets with as much love as I do my own. Pets are our family and need to be treated and loved as we would our own. I will honor all likes, food choices and instructions given regarding the animals in your home.

About: I grew up in a pet living home. Experience with all types of breeds and behaviors. Let me care for you pet just how you want it. I work from home and have plenty of extra time for walking, pet care and playing with your pet. They won't even realize you are gone until you return. My care is individually created based on owners preferences and wishes. If medications are needed I have years of experience with giving meds to cats, dogs and exotic pets.

About: I've taken care of pets for around 16 years as an adult, for others and myself! I would say I have worked with dogs/puppies for about of those years off and on. This included some basics of beginner training for a puppy. My background is in human services, so I love people and pets :) It would be my pleasure to help support with your pet in your home, either drop ins, for a certain number of hours, or overnight, including house sitting. I do best with small to medium dogs, or some larger dogs who do not jump, pull on the lease, etc. I work from home, remotely at this time, so I have a lot of flexibility, and some weeks I can stay in home, and even drive a ways for these situations. Locally, Kerrville, Ingram, and within about a 10-15 miles radius, I can work in some regular daytime stays or drop-in. When caring for pets in my client's home, I focus on following the schedule and engagement in ways the pets do well with. I know some pets are more particular than others about schedules, so this is important. Regular movement is also important to me, so dogs will not be in crates longer than needed/requested. I aim to be available to engage regularly for longer stays as well!

About: I’ve loved dogs and taking care of them since I was very young. I currently work at an animal shelter where I regularly give meds, feed, clean living areas, walk, and handle dogs who may be a little more quirky and need more time to feel comfortable with their people/handlers. I know a little training skills, like working with dogs to set before going through doorways and positive reinforcement, but am hoping to broaden my knowledge as time goes on. I have great attention to detail and can keep track of things very well. I work full time typically but my job is flexible, on my days I do work 9-5 I have the ability to leave during my lunch and I have two days off a week. I will take care of a clients dog just the way they would! I know what it is like to worry about who’s care you’re leaving your beloved pets in so I would do everything to ensure that everybody is happy and comfortable!

“We were nervous about having to leave for a last minute international travel and it would actually be the longest time (2 weeks) we would have to spend away from our three loved ones (we have a larger dog, a little dog and a cat). We scheduled a meet and greet and all 3 felt very comfortable around Cheri, so we decided to proceed. It can be scary and uncomfortable to leave your pets with someone you don’t know but meeting Cheri made us more comfortable. She really put a lot of time and effort to send frequent updates with lots of pictures. We really appreciated that she took her time to get to know each of them and clearly put effort into bonding with our fur-babies; we knew it from the accurate reports she shared about their personalities, traits and habits. Her love for animals is impressive and our little ones definitely loved her back. We will certainly be reaching out to Cheri in the future and we highly recommend her.”

I’d been providing pet sitting in the Austin area for many years and recently have been a ranch sitter in Comfort, Texas since December 2024. I have a handful of loyal clients that have trusted me with their beloved animals for over 10 years. Let me be your companion's trusted companion while you are away or busy at work! I am currently ranch sitting in Comfort, Texas and have plenty of time during the day for drop ins and dog walking. In August 2025 I will be looking for more overnight pet sitting opportunities in the Texas Hill Country. About: I love any type of dog, and will spend all the time I can with them, young or old. I want all the dogs, but can't afford them. Teacher on holiday break, I have loads of time, and love to spend it with dogs and walking as much as I possibly can to help myself exercise. I follow directions that the owner gives to the best of my ability. I'm recovering from a ruptured ACL, MCL , and torn meniscus surgery, so I love the exercise.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was born. I have been watching and taking care over fur babies for family and friends since I was 10. I have experience with many animals including dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, and fish. I also have worked with special needs animals as well. If your fur baby has any special needs and requires special attention I can do that no problem. I will treat your fur baby as my own. I have my dog Winnie. She is a labradoodle, she is great with any pet big or small, and we did live on a ranch before so we both have experience around many different animals. I love my girl and if anyone would take care of her while I’m away I would want them to take care and love her as I would. So when I take care your fur baby know that I will treat them as my own. I currently work on my own my time and have a flexible schedule and will work with you on when your fur baby will need care and love. I know it’s hard to leave your babies.
