“Our 2 senior pups had a great time with Shelley! She was very communicative, worked with our schedule, and sent us pictures throughout the stay to let us know they were adapting well. They usually come home completely exhausted from anxiety after being boarded. But this wasn’t the case after staying with Shelley! We brought home two very happy and well cared for pups ☺️”

“Heather is amazing! She provided daily updates on my pup, along with pictures! She is extremely easy to talk to, very adapting, and she truly cares about the fur baby’s she sits for! I will truly use her services again and highly recommend her for anyone else’s “babies “! We thank her for putting our minds at rest while we were on vacation! You’re the BEST Heather!!❤️”

“Kelsey was so patient and caring with my dog Shadow! She made sure he was well taken care of and loved since he was so nervous being away from home. She also made sure to send plenty of updates to ease my fears as well!”

“Lynana was great! She updated me on Wilson’s stay and sent photos. Typically he has separation anxiety but seemed to do well at her house. I loved that he had other dogs to play with! She will definitely be our go to whenever we need a sitter.”

“Debbie and her furry family was wonderful with Max. Lucy, Zoie, and Harley were great companions during his visit. Debbie provided plenty of updates with pictures and a video of Max playing and simply chillin in the house. Debbie truly loves animals.”

“We are officially repeat clients! Jordan and Collin are exactly what we’ve been looking for in a caretaker… responsible and kind. And they keep us well-informed. We’re thankful to have found them!”

“10/10 recommend! She was very friendly. My dogs seemed to be very well taken care of. She sent pics and gave me updates. I will definitely be using her for all my future bookings. Thank you so much for caring after my babies!”

About: Dogs have always been part of my life, and I’ve been caring for them since I was young. I’m trustworthy and focused on keeping your pet comfortable and safe. I am unemployed so I'm free all weekdays. I do go out on weekends though, but can still care for your pet when needed. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They are very playful and good with other animals. I also have a house with a fenced in yard.
“Anjelica did great with my shy and nervous Sheba. By pick Sheba was seeking attention and pets from her and her husband, which to me means she felt totally comfortable in the facility. The kennels were comfy enough for Sheba to want to go in there and sleep every night. Plus the indoor play area was great. Definitely will rebook when we have to travel again.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was young, and always had pets in my home! I am a huge huge animal lover! We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We love all animals! I have been a Stay at Home Mom since my girls were born. Now that they are older, I’m looking for new things to do that I enjoy, and can still be around for my family when they need me. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs run and play in, a detached garage with an attachment. Inside the attachment there is a couch, TV, AC, and heat, with plenty of room to run around and play! It makes a nice little hang out spot. We come out here to play and run around at times. There is also a security camera in the attachment as well. Dog must be potty trained, and good with other dogs and cats. Please be honest, so it won’t cause conflict while taking care of your baby and others. If we take care of larger dogs, they will stay in the attachment and not in the house.
About: I’ve fostered co-workers, family members, and friends pets all the time!! I genuinely love being around other animals and Making sure I can help them feel the most comfortable and energized while under my watch 🙂💛 I will always have an OPEN schedule unless I am booked with another client. I will be able to take care of any fury babies anytime 🙂 I provide a safe, loving, and supervised environment for every pet in my care. Front and backyard for outdoor play! I always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions. If needed, I can crate your dog and ensure they have a comfortable, stress-free space to relax and feel at home.
“Michelle is amazing, not only a great person and loves dogs, very down to earth, she is very responsive, gives great updates with pictures so you can see how your babies are doing. She has the sweetest little Yorkie for a playmate. She was willing to keep your exercise and feeding routine going to the best of her ability. We absolutely loved her and will be using her services again.”

“Shelby was an exceptional dog sitter! She is very loving to our pets and made me at ease right from the start. She was great at communicating with me and treated my fur babies just like they were her own. I know they had a great time. I will without hesitation use her again!”

“I have used Joshua a couple of times now and trust him completely! Our dog is definitely not the easiest and is very high anxiety. I'm very thankful Joshua is willing to go the extra mile with him. Would recommend him to anyone!”

About: I’ve been professionally pet sitting for 5 years, but grew up around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve watched dogs of all breeds and ages and love being around animals :) I have one cat of my own named Hank 🫶🏻 I work in a law office Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 p.m. I am single and don’t have any kids so I’m able to put all my focus on your animals :) I do not care for pets in my own home due to living in an apartment and I feel that it’s better for the animals to keep them in their own home.

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
