“We are so happy we found Abby and can't say enough good things about having her take care of our dog. Abby sent pictures and videos with status to us every day and she was super accommodating on the pickup and drop off times. She even took our dog to work with her during the week, which is great because our dog doesn't love being left alone. Also the location is such a great place for a dog to play - a huge fenced yard with lots of grass and shade.”

“Katy and her family were awesome for Clyde to stay with. She intentionally made sure Clyde fit in with her crew and went above and beyond to keep him comfy and send me videos and pictures.”

“Micaela was so wonderful with our dog. She gave us updates and photos and we felt so comfortable leaving our furry friend. She understood the specific needs of our dog. We will definitely be booking again!”

“Jess takes such good care of LeeLoo, and has always been very graciously flexible with pick up and drop off times for us, to accommodate for unexpected events. We are so lucky to have her help with Loo!”

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a 14 years old, pet sitting for friends and family. As an adult I went to school to be a Veterinary Technician. I transitioned to working as an Animal Control Officer where I gained knowledge on administrating medication, vaccinations, and understanding animal health. I have worked at Veterinary Clinics and I am an active volunteer at the Animal Shelter. I am insured, I have a great understanding on separation anxiety and how to help with those feelings. I will ensure that your pet receives the best care from me and I will keep you updated along that way. I work in pet care full time. I do daily drop in visits for all pets and dog walking. I also provide boarding services in my own home for dogs. 🐶 I will treat your pets as if they were my own. You will get daily updates and the peace of mind that they are in good hands.

“Summer is the best! She keeps Rudy entertained with her dog and lots of outdoor time that he prefers. I highly recommend her to anyone needing to leave their fur child for a trip.”

“Kate was so fantastic! She sent me many updates to assure me that my dog Kubo was having the best time with her sweet dog and daughter. She was also really flexible and kind about a later pickup time. I would truly love to have Kubo stay with her again!”

“Brooke was a great match for our dogs. She was very sweet and happy to welcome them into her family. She gave us regular updates and kept our minds at ease. She agreed to drop the dogs off at our home since we wouldn't be home until after midnight on our last night and when our door wouldn't unlock for her she took them back and watched them the rest of the night for us until we could come pick them up. She was super flexible and extra accommodating. We would definitely take our dogs back to her and recommend her to anyone, especially small dog owners.”

“Jennifer was great with our Rosie. It was Rosie’s first time at a sitter and was very happy to go everyday. Jennifer even accommodated our other puppy on short notice. We will definitely use Jennifer again. Craig and Sheila’s”

About: Hello! My name is Hanna and I was raised here in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I grew up with two wonderful dogs, who I would spend most of my free time hiking, swimming, and mountain bike riding with. I lived in NYC for 8 years which is where I went to college and met my husband. Last year we made the move back home to Paonia where we now have a wonderful house and live with our 6 year old yellow lab named Blue. As a family we love to be outside, whether it's hiking, being at home in the garden, walking the river, or riding bikes. Blue is a very mellow dog who gets along with every dog he meets. He loves playing fetch and swimming so you can often find us out at the river or at the park. Both my husband and I work from home with flexible schedules so will be around and present for your pet. Overall I'm a naturally energetic person who would love to bring my energy and excitement to your pet's life! I work from home and set my own schedule so it's flexible throughout the day allowing me to take walks and be outside whenever I like. Every day I take two, hour long walks - one in the late morning and one the early evening with my dog. Throughout the day we're also outside in the yard where there's grass. I own the home I live in which is right in downtown Paonia. There's a fenced yard with grass and room to play. We're walking distance to 2 parks, as well as the walking path along the river.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of pups…border collies, black mouth currs, aussies, heelers…I currently have a pitbull and a golden retriever myself who I love very much. I also have a cat who is my absolute world. I was taught pet responsibility at a very young age, and also showed steers in 4h, which I feel are just very large dogs. I currently work full time, but I do work from home Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday at my home in Delta. Tuesday’s and Fridays, I am in Montrose. The weekends are pretty open for me, but if at all possible, please contact in advance just in case I am busy! I like to give lots of attention to your pets as well as my own. Lots of playtime for my golden (my pit is an old lady, so she just likes to be lazy).

About: I was with my boy Sylo for almost 14 years now, and I know how incredibly important it is to trust that your companion is being *very* well taken care of. I live on a quiet piece of land right outside of Paonia. Daily walks are non-negotiable, and I love to get out on mellow adventures as much as possible. I go on a 30-45 minute walk every single morning, and another long walk every evening. I work from home so I make sure to take them outside for potty breaks or short walks very often! We go on leash walks every day- but if we go on an adventure, I am more than happy to keep your companion on a long leash if that makes you feel more comfortable.

Hanna B.
“Hanna is incredible! I may be biased, being her husband and all, but really, she is an amazing human being who understands pets more than anyone I know. To begin with, she grew up on a farm in Colorado with dogs, chickens, llamas, and horses, and not only is she able to communicate well with them, she is the only person I know who can match the energy of even the most excited / hyper-active puppy. Living in New York, it has not been possible for us to have pets, but whether it's visiting family members in other states with multiple dogs, or friends' apartments with multiple cats, she is immediately her happiest self when in the company of all these pets. Just this past Christmas, there were five dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and still, Hanna was able to keep them all in line and entertained, where you could tell they were looking to her for instruction and leading the pack. She is also able to bring even the shyest of pups out of their shell, having recently done so with her grandmother's new lab puppy, who, prior to meeting Hanna, would spend entire days underneath tables, hiding behind furniture, afraid of greeting or playing with anyone. By the end of a few days with Hanna, the puppy, Blue, was a true puppy, full of energy and love to give. With her never ending enthusiasm and bountiful love of all animals, Hanna really is the most ideal dog walker / pet sitter around.”

Liz Z.

“Liz was so kind to my old lady, Dolly! Dolly was well taken care of and seemed content when I picked her up. Liz was very responsive and communication was clear.”

Rieley L.
“Rieley is a person who loves animals. I have never seen her not be friendly or harmful to any animal at all. She would be the ideal person to take care of your animals.”

Rebecca A.
“Rebecca is an animal lover who will love on your pet! She is really gentle and kind with them. She has watched my dog several times and always makes sure he gets the exercise he needs. Thank you, Rebecca!”
