About: I've loved and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, mine and other people’s too! It started with my childhood German Shepherd, JoJo, who waited at the end of the street every day to run along side the school bus because she knew I was on the that big, yellow, beast. More recently, I loved and cared for my orange and white, Manx cat, Sid, named after Sid Vicious because he was a little vicious when he was a kitten. My experience taking care of other people's dogs began 22 years ago when a co-worker needed help with her Pomeranian when she went on a trip. I dog sat for her several times. When she realized she no longer could keep her Pom, she let me adopt her. For about 4 years, I raised German Shepherds, including ones imported from Germany. During that time, my partner and I also trained German Shepards for a sport called Schutzhund. It's a sport that tests a dog's tracking, obedience and protection skills. I also trained dogs of all breeds and mixed breeds obedience, cute little tricks and manners. You know what I'm taking about with manners! haha jk I love teaching dogs new tricks! I’m comfortable taking care of puppies, adults and senior dogs; anxious and timid dogs and with administering oral and topical medications and following special instructions and giving extra attention and longer walks if desired. If your dog has a strict routine, you can be at peace knowing I will follow your dog’s routine exactly how he/she is accustomed to it being. If you choose me as your dog sitter, your dog will be showered with love, time and attention. I love taking your dog for walks, playing in the backyard and cuddling on the couch, whatever your pet likes, needs, and enjoys. I am here to help! In addition to taking care of your pets, I am a freelance writer and artist working from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. We can make plans in advance for me to take care of your pet and I can usually be available on short notice. When I'm pet sitting in your home, your pets are my focus, but if I do need to step out for any reason, I'll be sure your pets are safe, happy and your home is secure. I'll leave your pets loved, and your home clean for when you return.

About: I have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I have helped several cats through the birthing process and have been able to provide life saving care to young fosters. I believe in animal conservation and being a voice for those that don't have one. I am reliable and trustworthy and will love your pet just as much as you do. I also know of several wonderful parks that your pets would absolutely love. Boarding with Crate Trained Dogs: I offers a safe and comfortable environment for dogs and cats that are crate trained. Crate trained dogs are accustomed to spending time in their crates, which provides them with a secure and familiar space when they are not directly supervised by the pet sitter. House Sitting: In addition to providing boarding services, I also offer house sitting. This entails staying at the pet owner's home while they are away, ensuring the safety and security of both the pets and the property. House sitting offers the benefit of maintaining a consistent environment for the dogs, reducing stress and anxiety. Requirements: Crate Training Verification: I will require verification that the dogs they board are crate trained. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs during their stay, as crate trained dogs are less likely to engage in destructive behavior and are more comfortable in unfamiliar settings. Vaccination Records: Before accepting any dogs for boarding or house sitting, I will request up-to-date vaccination records to confirm that the dogs are properly immunized. This requirement helps prevent the spread of contagious diseases and ensures the health of all animals involved. Meet and Greet: Prior to the scheduled boarding or house sitting period, I will conduct a meet and greet session with the dogs and their owners. This meeting allows me to get acquainted with the dogs, learn about their routines, and discuss any specific care instructions or special needs. Emergency Contact Information: I will request emergency contact information for the pet owners, including the contact details of a trusted veterinarian. This ensures that I can quickly reach out in case of any unforeseen medical situations. Feeding and Medication Instructions: I will require detailed instructions regarding the dogs' feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and any necessary medications. Following these instructions accurately is crucial for the dogs' health and well-being during their stay. Emergency Plan: A comprehensive emergency plan will be established in case of unexpected situations, such as a natural disaster, power outage, or health emergency. This plan will outline the steps I will take to ensure the safety of the dogs and the property. Pet Owner's Consent: The pet owner will be required to sign a contract or agreement that outlines the services to be provided, the dates of boarding or house sitting, and any other terms and conditions. This contract will protect both the pet sitter and the pet owner and ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding expectations. By offering boarding services for crate trained dogs and providing house sitting, the I create a comfortable and secure environment for pets while ensuring peace of mind for their owners during their time away. “I highly recommend Jasmine as a dog care giver with Rover. She has been taking care of my Goldendoodle, Lucy, for the last 2 months, and I am so happy with the way she provides love, discipline (when needed), and active attention. Jasmine and her family are great at recognizing Lucy’s needs and putting them first. She regularly walks her, feeds her on a set schedule, and even sleeps with her. I am very confident in Jasmine, and I know any dog (and dog parent) would be lucky to have her!”
