I ensure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes or potty breaks, and plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort based on each pet’s personality and needs. With my veterinary assistant experience, I am comfortable providing additional care such as administering oral medications, monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health, and giving extra support to senior or anxious pets. I also offer services including dog walking, nail trims, and bathing when needed. About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. My days vary a lot, but I am often able to make time if you give me a week’s notice. If you need urgent pet care, do not hesitate to reach out. I cannot promise that I will 100% be available, but I will make the time if I have it. Honestly, I prefer to play by the owner’s rules when caring for their pets. Besides that, I refuse to take anything but a gentle approach with the pets. I am very careful to only administer treats/toys as the owner instructs.

About: I've cared for many pets during my life including exotics, cats, dogs, and birds in all age groups from babies to seniors. I will treat your fur babies like my own. I am currently retired with my husband. We eschool our twin boys during the day. I can pop out to do pet care and have a flexible schedule. We do travel a lot during school breaks and in the summer. I am eager to help out with home visits or walks. I enjoy all kinds of pets and don't shy away from those who need special care. Typically I visit dogs in their homes three times per day at whatever schedule works best for the pet and me. Some may need more or less visits and I can be flexible. I do not care for dogs or cats in my home. My two cats don't like other pets, unless it's a pet that lives in a small crate or cage, such as a guinea pig.

About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. I don't have access to a fenced-in yard currently and would not be able to host a dog to the best of my ability. I've taken care of cats at my house, however, and have found that they quickly feel at ease in my home environment. My kitty passed away last year, unfortunately, but I am home often and will provide as much company and attention as your pet desires. I want them to know they have a friend in me.

About: Experience with dogs of different sizes as well as with cats. I used to have 5 dogs at once. All with different needs. Very flexible and will acclimate to whatever your pet needs! Very flexible with whatever you and your pet need. I WFH throughout the week and can work from wherever. Or I can just go check on your pet after work or for a walk. On a recent health journey and would love extra motivation to be more active outdoors! I’m very conscious about ensuring pets are well leashed and not left alone (especially outside). Will make sure they get their food (and treats, if allowed) as well as all the necessary pets!
