“Hands down the best Dog walker I’ve ever had! The constant check in, the picture updates, everything. I was a little scared at first since my pup doesn’t do well with new people but from the pictures she’s sent me, my pup fell in love with Ms. Kristen. 10/10 will book again in the future!!!”

“Keely has looked after my dog before as a sitter, and I was so happy to have her take my pup for a walk recently. She’s always so kind, reliable, and clearly loves animals. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time she sees her! It’s such a comfort knowing that Keely already knows my dog, so I can trust that she’s in great hands. She always takes the time to give updates and really goes the extra mile. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Keely to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker or sitter!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Colleen as my dog sitter. Her communication was clear and fast. She took my pup, Acey, on an extra-long walk and even stayed late to play his favorite game of fetch. Colleen was flexible, reliable, and the sweetest woman. I would 100% recommend her for your pet-sitting needs!”

About: I’ve been helping take care of pets ever since I was young. I have a dog and cat of my own that are like my children so I know just how much they mean and the responsibility that comes with them. I’m originally from Morgantown, WV, but I attend school at PennWest Edinboro. During my summers in WV, I work at a family owned dog kennel and daycare. I’ll always treat them like my own! I’m a full-time student, but my schedule is very flexible given 4 out of 5 of my classes are able to be done online. I have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-3:15pm. I also help assistant coach the women’s club basketball team which practices Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8pm. With the exception of those commitments I’m available most any other time! I’ll be able to stop in to clients homes and care for their animals and give them company. About: I have had pets for all of my life and have gained a wealth of experience along the way. For several years I worked at a pet boarding and grooming facility where I obtained the knowledge of light grooming, and administering medications such as insulin. During my time working at this facility I also learned how to handle pets that may be aggressive wether it was caused by food, toys, or anxiety. I currently have four dogs and two cats who I love dearly. I have also had the joy of taking care of many animals all the way from puppy/kitten hood all the way to the rainbow bridge. I know how hard it can be to find someone you can trust to care for your fuzzy family member, but I hope you can find that with me. If you have any questions please ask me and I will be happy to answer I am currently working as a shipping manager for a small factory but I would like to make caring for pets my full time job. I have an invisible fence with one and a half acres of area to roam. I have pet stairs leading to those hard to reach areas (like the couch or bed) for small or senior pets. I also have a cart to pull behind my bike if there are any pets that aren't so active but like fresh air. My cats enjoy the luxury of having their own bedroom so they can have peace from the dogs when needed. And of course I have a plethora of toys and treats. I am willing to make accommodations for special needs pets.

Dog friendly. I do not have children. I do have a crate if needed. There is also a long tie out that I use for my 2 year old yellow lab. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
