Lucky took shine to her right away. We had a couple hiccups ( we forgot to leave her pack with Crystal) it had her ball and food and blanket. We apologized and felt horrible, but Crystal reassured us that it wasn't a problem and she had plenty of food and toys to keep her occupied. By the time we picked her up and got back to her our hotel Lucky was exhausted from all the playing she did. Thank you Crystal! We appreciate you so much! Her location was great, she was very flexible with our drop off and pick up times, and she kept us updated throughout the day with photos. Cody seemed to get along well with her 2 dogs, came home super tired both days, and was excited to return on the 2nd day (as close as you'll get for a doggy recommendation)! I would absolutely use her again and recommend her for anyone traveling as there aren't many convenient locations for boarding near the park. Plus the one-on-one attention is so much better than a kennel!”

If pets are introduced into my home, I gently take lead and show the dogs how to be comfortable and adjust. If I am introduced into a pets' home, we allow a meet and greet specific to your dogs' needs. Then, we tour your home so that you may convey instructions.

As an adult, I now have my own sweet girl named Maggie; she is a 10 year old boarder collie/jack russell. I have experience caring for all kinds of dogs with all sorts of personalities. “Jennifer was very responsive and accommodating. I accidentally booked the wrong date, but in our text conversation, I had discussed the correct dates with her. On the correct day of the date I needed her to watch my dog, I called her frantically thinking that she wouldn’t be available since I booked a different date, but she was accommodating and changed the date to the correct one. She’s located near Dodge Ridge, so we dropped my dog off early in the morning and went snowboarding then picked him up on the way home. Very convenient. I have an old dog that requires special care like medicine, special food, diapers, anxiety, and etc and she followed my detailed instructions very well. My pup also seemed to enjoy being under her care despite his anxiety. Will be happy to bring him back!”

About: Willing to take care of most any dogs of all shapes and sizes, while watching your home. I love all animals but am most fond of dogs :) Although I grew up with cats, I am not generally a cat person unless they are super chill/nice. My grandparents owned a pet store in Alameda when I was younger called "The Living Picture" and I had to feed/water all the animals, so I do have the experience, but I'd say more recently it's just been dogs and the occasional cat. Just let me know what you have, and I'll let you know my comfort level. :) I am willing to travel outside of my area (Dorrington/Big Trees) for pet sitting but would like to keep dog walking and drop-ins to my general area of Big Trees/Arnold/Murphys. If you do not live in those areas, then it would be a 1 hour minimum for all walking & drop-in services. I'm currently available full-time for pet/house sitting so I will be able to give both your beloved animal(s) and your home my full attention (as long as I'm not booked)! I will keep my calendar up to date so you can rely on what it says. While pet/house sitting I will walk and play with your fur-baby(s) as much as they like or can handle. I will also send photos to you on a daily basis! I am willing to do other things like pick up dog poop in your yard (if that is where they go), bring in mail, water plants, etc. My rates are set for everyday animals and not 'special needs', so if your doggie or cat needs special attention or has behavioral issues then my rate would go up and reflect the amount of extra care or attention your fur baby requires.

About: I've worked as both a professional and independent dog walker, trainer and groomer for long time. I have fostered many animals and found them all loving homes. I've cared for and loved each and every animal that I have come into contact with and have received my degree as a veterinary assistant. I have a pup,cat,chickens,and quail of my own. About: I have been around animals of all shapes and sizes my whole life! Reptiles, birds, furry creatures, large dogs, small dogs, cats… you name it! My mom is a dog groomer and I used to work for her as well! I am good with puppies, kittens, old animals, medication administration, and I am a tidy lady who loves a clean house. I am a stay at home mom who is reliable and available to call on when you need a house sitter, dog walker, check in on your furry family members.. whatever you need I will be there to help! I am a stay at home mom so I am available and pretty flexible! I love to go for a walk/hike with my kids and would love to bring your friend with us! Or if you need some pop ins I am able to work around that as well! I will attend to you and your pets needs as you wish!
