“Jason was great, as usual, on a last-minute booking when my husband's hospital stay was unexpectedly extended. He was so supportive and understanding in a stressful situation and made it a lot easier for me not to have to worry about our dog. He is the best!”

“Lori was incredible from beginning to the end. She was flexible about drop off and about pick up. Unfortunately, I had gotten sick and she was accommodating about picking up Cookie a day later. She gave us regular updates and photos of Cookie during the day. Overall, I appreciate how well she took her care of Cookie during his stay and her flexibility.”

“Jake was very accommodating, especially when our vacation plans changed. His dog is so friendly and our dogs were well cared for. We will definitely be using Jake again!”

“Madison was so great with Geode. He had some anxiety and she handled it so well and he was just part of the family! Loved it and have already rebooked in a few weeks!”

“If we could rate more than 5 stars we would! It’s stressful leaving your pets behind while you go on a trip, but we knew they were in good care with the daily updates and photos we received. We would recommend them to anyone looking for pet care. Thanks Sydney and Michael!”

About: I grew up on a farm, so I've always been surrounded by animals and have developed a natural ability to care for them. This experience has taught me patience, responsibility, and a strong understanding of animal behavior. I’m not only comfortable with dogs of all ages but also have experience handling puppies and providing senior dog care. I work from home, which allows me to give your pet my full attention throughout the day. With a flexible schedule, I'll be the one taking care of your pet personally, ensuring they get plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. We have a dog at home and an unfenced yard, but we're just one block away from a dog park, so your pet will have plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and exercise. If needed, we can crate our dog to ensure safety and comfort during your pet's visit. We always prioritize the well-being of all pets in our care and will adjust our home environment as needed to meet your pet's needs.

“Bobbie was great! Super sweet. Remi loved ivy and making a new friend! They ran in the big back yard and played tag! Bobbie was very attentive and remi was very comfortable there!”

“Great sitters! They included our dog in everything extra they did with their own dogs. They knew she loves to hike/explore, go on rides, play & she loves to cuddle and they did it all!! We would definitely recommend them as they treated her like their own.”

“Mahvish & Syed were great! I couldn’t have asked for a better pair to watch Kip. They communicate very well, provide updates and pictures to let me know how Kip was doing. They were very accommodating and asked questions in advance to make sure they would be the right fit for Kip. I highly recommend them to watch your pets!”

“Kelly treated my dog as one of her own! She took him on walks, made him a special Sunday breakfast, and let him play in the kiddie pool with her 2 other dogs all weekend. I will absolutely be rebooking with her if I ever need boarding services in the future.”

“Robert was available short notice to watch Lily. He sent me pictures and updates of Lily throughout her stay, and even took her to the dog park numerous times! He went above and beyond to make sure Lily felt comfortable and well-cared for. I will definitely book with Robert again!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have had pets of all kinds like German Shepherd dogs abd many cats. I currently own 2 feisty Japanese Chin, who are treated like royalty. I currently working weekdays from 6am until 2pm so im available to do drop in visits and walks on evenings and weekends and happy to board small abd medium sized dogs or cats in my home. I have a 6 foot privacy fence in my back yard and two dogs who have their own playroom that they like to spend their time in. I like to take dogs for walks. I also do caregiving for humans so I well versed in medication giving and personal cares.

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

“This was our second time having our dogs stay with Auden and certainly won’t be the last. You can’t put a price on your fur babies being treated like family when you’re out of town.”

“Kenneth and his family were wonderful pet people! They work at home and have a high schooler, and live near great play places. My pup enjoyed playing with their dog and came home tired and happy. Got several updates through my trip with pics. I would have no reservations reserving with them again!”
