About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. VACCINATIONS: Please ensure your pup is up-to-date with vaccinations before boarding to protect them and our little ones from illnesses. PHOTOS: We know how important peace of mind is, so we send consistent, informative photos/updates/videos of your little one so that you know what they are up to and so that you can rest assured that they are doing well! LOCATION: We are located right outside of Ann Arbor - perfect spot near highways and shops! MEDICATION: Yes, we do provide, however, we do not provide service to pets that are sick/ill/recovering/ or need medical attention during their stay. We do provide service to pets that are in good health but require maintenance medications, with vets' approval. FIRST AID/CPR: As of November 2024, we are actively working on finding a reputable organization to refresh our human and pet first aid and CPR certification! ABOUT OUR LITTLE ONES: Archie and Roxy are our two adorable, little terriers who love to have fun - they would be co-hosting with me. My husband works from home, so there is generally always someone home. Either my husband, who works from home, or I will be on hand to supervise the dogs at all times. Ensuring your dogs' safety is my highest priority. A LITTLE ABOUT US: My husband and I are super responsible, incredibly loving dog parents. I was raised with dogs, and other animals, as was my husband (who grew up on a farm here in Michigan). Combined, we have closer to 20 plus years of experience in taking care of our own furbabies, those of our neighbors, and various other kinds of pets. We've been there, worried and stressed out over having to find someone trustworthy who will treat and love our little ones with the same level of care and concern that we do! Being super loving, very protective, and knowledgeable pet parents ourselves, we know full well how stressful it can be to rely on someone else. We are great communicators and continuously strive to educate ourselves and learn about the best new dog products, services, treats, etc. Please rest assured that we will do our best to answer your questions and concerns. It's always a joy to connect with fellow pet parents who are just as devoted and loving to their family members as we are to ours! My schedule tends to be flexible. My husband works from home as well- it’s a joy to have little ones running around! There is always someone at home with a watchful eye - your pup will never be left alone. The importance of temperament cannot be overstated; if there are particular household rules to increase the comfort of your furbaby, I will follow them to the letter. I would like to know if he/she has any medical issues, special needs, etc. A veterinarian's contact information and instructions would be required if medication is needed - this of course also applies if they have special dietary needs, allergies, etc.

“I left my puppy for a day with Margaret and her dogs. He was very comfortable and she instantly took care of him. Margaret was good with communication and shared constant updates and photos/videos. She kept him active that he came back home and slept instantly.”

I specialize in drop-ins, boarding, and doggy daycare, all provided in a loving, in-home environment with attentive sitters. I keep detailed records of your pet’s specific needs and routines, and you’ll receive thorough report cards after each visit so you never miss a beat of their well-being. Please note: Drop-in visits are available between 7 AM and 8 PM. Boarding and daycare services are available by appointment only. During peak seasons, a 1–2 hour arrival window is required for drop-ins. I’m also a full-time nanny, so my hours are flexible, but I do ask for a window of 1-2 hours from your set time for pet visits. I will follow any instructions given and make sure to update the owners with lots of pictures. Will resupply fresh food and water daily for every visits. Will clean up any mess (pee/poo) before leaving.

About: I have two dogs and two Guinea pigs. I also care for several animals during the school year in my classroom at Tecumseh Acres. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets as well! I have just completed my 17th year of teaching and am off for the summer! I was looking for a way to earn some extra money doing something I love and caring for pets is it! I have a fenced yard, crates, and lots of time for pets and walks! I also have kids who love animals as much as I do!

About: Growing up living with my mom, we always had 4 dogs and now I have 2 dogs! My wife rovers and I help her sometimes but figured I'd start my own account! This is fun and I enjoy it! I work from home(sometimes have to travel) so it's easy checking in on pets or staying elsewhere if needed! I work from him so checking in on pets or staying at a house is easy and flexible for me! I do have to travel sometimes. I have 2 dogs right now that are small and very friendly. I have a fenced in yard. Working from home makes it easy to travel to take care of dogs!

About: I have had pets all of my life from a range to farm animals, bunnies, cats, and dogs. My dog fur babies are 12 and 1 years of age. I have had them since puppies. I give space and time for shy dogs to get to know me. I am home very day and can give medications and potty breaks as often as your animal needs. I have a spare bedroom that your fur baby can get space if needed or they can have full range of the home. I am also able to take your doggo on frequent walks or just loving cuddles throughout the day. I am currently working on developing my own metal health private practice so I am not working. I am 100% open to cater to your pets' needs. I take my 2 dogs outside on leashes for potty breaks. I am only able to do potty breaks on leashes at my home. I also pick up poop in the yard, so I am able to make sure your dog's tummy is doing ok.

“Carole was absolutely fantastic! She has a large yard with lots of space and places to explore. I can tell she really enjoys animals and caring for pets. While this was just for a few hours, I'd definitely feel comfortable leaving my dog for longer stays. I felt very at ease leaving my dog in her care.
