“Kayden is very friendly and knowledgable about dogs. Milo, our dog, is elderly and I was a bit worried about the interactions between his energetic dogs and mine. But all went well and Milo came home healthy and happy after a full week with Kayden, his partner and their four-legged friends. The second concern I had was the small outside area he had available for the dogs to do their business. Milo is picky about where he goes potty and, since there was no grass, I wasn't sure how that would go. Again, Kayden handled it well, taking Milo out for walks when needed. I would take Milo back for future visits if the need arises.”

I don't have any of my own personal pets and there aren't any small children. I only dog sit for one family at a time so your pet can get his or her own individual care. I also allow pets on furniture and in my bed at night. Each pet gets walked daily along with alot of play time to get rid of all the pent up energy. Lots of love and cuddles also!

About: Recently, my pets have passed do to old age, so I have a lot of free time to give animals all the attention they need. I've been pet sitting dogs, cats, birds, and chickens for the past 5 years. I am currently attending EMU, starting law school in the fall. I currently have one small dog. In past jobs, like child care I had to also walk, feed, and play with cats or dogs and now I want to go into it full time. I work full time at a law firm near downtown Ann Arbor. I have flexibility to do mid-day stops for animals if needed. My weekends I am fully available. I do have one small dog of my own. I prefer to do drop in home visits. If you need boarding I would need a doggie meet and greet for the pups.

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO KNOW: We understand each dog has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and temperament. ****A meet-n-greet is required prior to the start of any service.**** -Unless arranged by special request during the week, they are usually on Saturdays and Sundays and by appointment. -Please allow enough time prior to your reservation to arrange for the meet-n-greet. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS: We will do our best to accommodate those in tight spots, but generally we only reserve this option for established clients only. About: I have been around dogs and pets since I was very young. We had a family dog I helped take care of and all three of my siblings have had either a dog or cat that I would pet sit. My roommate also currently owns a puppy that I help out with as well. I am currently a full time student at GVSU and I have a part time job but it is very flexible. I can always make scheduling work as long as we communicate! I do not board other dogs very often unless it is dire. But trust and safely will depend on where you live and what you and your pet are comfortable with.

About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my home and I just love animals! I used to volunteer at the humane society, and I was trained to work with cats and dogs, I have over 100 hours of volunteering at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I am new to Rover, but I’ve pet sat outside of this app before! I am currently working part-time, my schedule changes from day to day but for the most part I am available 7 days a week and can check in up to 3 times a day with your animal! About: I have taken care of dogs all my life practically but I have been doing it as a job since I was 16 years old. When I was 16 years old and could drive I started doing at home dog care in my hometown for people who needed dogs sitters when they went of out town. I have always grown up with a dog in the house. From the time I was 5 to age 21 my family and I had 6 male dogs and a litter of 6 puppies over that span of 16 years. I now have my own dog which is a male golden retriever. I work from home and travel so when I am working from home I am able to do pet care many times throughout the day and even host pets over night when I am not out of town for work travel. I care for pets in my home and in client's homes to the highest level of care possible. I put the dog first in every matter possible and I really enjoy doing activities or attention to dogs that they really enjoy. I like to say I can think like a dog and I can read their mind which helps me understand what makes them happy and how they want to be cared for. I always do what's best for the dogs safety and health and follow all pet owner instructions given about their dog.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, horses, and all sorts of pets for most of my life. From Great Danes to Shih Tzus I love all the puppies! I have a miniature bernedoodle and a Shih Tzu currently that I raised from puppies and they are very well behaved. I have watched an older dog who needed liquid IVs and pills and everything went well with him. I currently have three dogs at home. I work part time and can schedule work every week based around what I am doing, so I am pretty much always available as long as it’s about a week in advance. I can be at home as much as needed! I have three friendly dogs (two don’t like to play much but one loves to play) at home and no cats in the house. We do potty breaks every couple of hours which consists of just letting the dogs out in the yard which is not fenced in. Whenever I watch dogs at the house, I am always certain to take the dogs out on leash. If the puppers aren’t the best on leash that’s alright as well, I just use a harness or whatever the owners provide.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I love taking care of them! About: I've taken care of a variety of animals through out my life such as cats, dogs, geckos, and fish. I am trained on giving dogs oral medicine. I volunteer at a local animal shelter where I'm working on my Fear Free Shelter certification and Fear Free Homes certification. I am currently working a part-time job, so my schedule is pretty free. “Kayden is very friendly and knowledgable about dogs. Milo, our dog, is elderly and I was a bit worried about the interactions between his energetic dogs and mine. But all went well and Milo came home healthy and happy after a full week with Kayden, his partner and their four-legged friends. The second concern I had was the small outside area he had available for the dogs to do their business. Milo is picky about where he goes potty and, since there was no grass, I wasn't sure how that would go. Again, Kayden handled it well, taking Milo out for walks when needed. I would take Milo back for future visits if the need arises.”
