We visit Stowe often and sometimes don’t bring our dog because we didn’t know anyone here that could do visits for her if we are out for a long period. Alison solved that problem! She did a great job with Maisy, while we were out all day - two visits, and Maisy warmed up to Alison quickly. When Maisy was timid at the beginning of the first visit, Alison knew just what to do to, and by the second visit Maisy welcomed Alison in with a wagging tail and led her all around the neighborhood on their walk. Thank you Alison! We will see you again for future visits!

About: I have had my own dog, or taken care of my friends' dogs throughout my life. I love dogs and cats, sometimes even more than people! I work full-time, but would love to spend some time on weekends or weekday evenings with your furry friends. I love going for walks, going to dog parks, cuddling and playing with dogs and cats. I have a fenced in yard and a clean, safe home. I am very active and enjoy exercise, so if that's what your pet needs, I am happy to help!

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals including farm animals like chickens and goats to typical house pets, Right down to a sugar glider once I have a wonderful schedule that allows me 3 days off. With school getting ready to pick back up again and winter on its way. I'm looking for a little extra income and what better way than to spend some hours with the best things on the planet, pets! Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are my days off so those are the days I will be available most often. Though, because I don't leave for work until noon, I would be open to morning drop-ins when possible on the weekends. It's important for pets to know they're taken care of fresh food and water. Some play time and company clean litter boxes and walks. Their comfort is key.

About: For many years now I have been dog walking, animal/house sitting, and general caregiver for pets while their people are away. This started for me as a side job while traveling, then would settle for a time places and through word of mouth I would consistently be asked for more help. People love there pet all over the world, and I have always enjoyed being of service! Growing up my family would rescue the largest dogs from nearby shelters and cats were always around too. So early on I learned how to play, care, and love for often misunderstood animals. I’ve always always had a passion for nature, travel, and agricultural, which has developed into 10 plus years working on farms while traveling. This has cultivated a variety of experiences caring for animals! We never stop learning and animals are some of the best teachers… Please reach out and I’d be happy to connect with you and your pet to see how I may be of help! I’m comfortable with baby animals as well as elderly, administering medicine, and preparing specific diets. My path eventually crossed with a stray mixed Blue Heeler in Hawaii. Pepper, who’d become my fluffy sweet heart and companion of 5 years now. I love caring for animals and would be glad to help with whatever your loved ones needs are! I have a couple part time jobs on a farm and plant nursery, as well as gardening as a side job as well. I stay busy haha, but make my own schedule so it’s very doable for me to plan ahead and make time look after your home and pet, take them out for an adventure, or just stop by for a check in potty break! Just reach out and we can schedule a time to meet. :) I have a large back yard surrounded by forest, ample room to run and play freely. But unfortunately my home isn’t available to have other animals stay with us right now.

About: I just moved to a cat friendly apartment. I want my own cat and I figured that I could watch people's while I wait. I’m only working part time right now so I have plenty of time for this to be a side gig for a bit - hope you'll consider me. Just moved to a new bigger place in Lancaster NH that has plenty of room for your cats to play around in. Cat friendly place.

Avery did an excellent job dropping in to care for my cats. Not only did my cats quickly warm to Avery’s warm and calm energy, but Avery followed instructions to the t and was very flexible with a few last minute schedule changes. The update texts Avery sent each day put my mind at ease and I was relieved to know my cats were in such good hands.

About: I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, fish, & snakes for most all of my life. I currently own 2 dogs and 2 cats and honestly, the size of my house is the only thing limiting my family from continuing to rescue more and more! I’m a recent retired military veteran who has plenty of time to care for any and all of your pet’s needs throughout the day and even the night if your schedule requires it. You can check my calendar on your proposed travel dates for availability or message me directly to start a dialogue. Looking forward to meeting your furry family members! I will follow all safety measures and precautions that the pet owner has established at their home and ensure that those procedures are strictly followed with pet comfortability, safety, and security, being uppermost in mind.

About: Hello! My name is Marielle and I'm an animal lover. I grew up on a farm and have had many dogs, cats, horses and other pets over the years. I've worked and lived at a dog boarding facility where I helped with day to day operations, doggy day care, and was in charge of all off-site hikes! I've also walked dogs more casually, using online apps, and doing house calls and walks around the neighborhood. For the past ten years I've volunteered at animals shelters working with both cats and dogs, doing walks, cleaning up, feeding and bathing, plus some basic first-aid and medical services. Whatever you are looking for I'd be happy to help! My job has flexible hours and I'm available to house/pet sit overnight, stop in and check on your furry friend while you're at work, do a 30 or 60 minute walk, or take them on a hike if they have lots of energy and are well-behaved! Spending time with animals is my passion and I can't wait to meet your best friend! I'm an outdoor guide in the White Mountains and have a flexible schedule. Typically I work weekends and have weekdays free, but sometimes I have weekend availability too! My car is set up to transport animals easily and safety is my number one priority! I currently own a small Long-Haired Speckled Dachshund (12lbs) and a much larger Husky/German Shepard mix (70lbs) so I'm able to accommodate any size and will adjust activity and how I care for each pet dependent on what they need/want.

About: I’ve have 3 dogs and a cat in my own home so I know a thing or two on how to keep your doggy happy and playful. I am an early college student and most of my classes are online so I have a lot of free time on my hands. So I am able to dog sit for long hours if needed or just friendly visits if needed. I live in a house with three very friendly dogs and lots of backyard space for throwing the ball and playing around. Plus I have a lot of hiking trails and ponds for swimming during the summer.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone. I am also available for drop in visits and/or neighborhood walks during the weekday! There’s nothing better than plugging in a podcast and taking a long walk with a pup!

About: From as far back as I can remember I have been living animals and taking care of them. I have always had a large variety of pets and then worked in Petsmart in high school to gain a greater understanding of pet care needs. My love of animals continued to follow me through out school where I got a degree in environmental biology and have been working with wild life ever since. I still have pets but I would love to meet yours and care for them as if they were my own! So currently I am working seasonally in marine biology and fisheries and have just got off a boat for the season. Because of this I have ample time to tend to your pets needs until I head back out to sea next summer. I will be working part time on the slopes this winter but making time to take care of pets is a routine that I am used to so I would be happy to make my winter schedule work with yours. I believe a tired dog is a good dog, I too need exercise so I plan to keep your pet active and engage to help them get to know me and take their mind off you not being there. I also have a very old arthritic dog at the moment so I realize not all pets should be as physically active as others and will pay close attention to any specific needs your pet has to ensure they are happy and healthy.

About: I have been providing care for animals since I was 13. I have worked with and provided sitting and supervision for animals of all kinds big and small. Having animals of my own, I have come to see the extreme need for good honest sitters to care for your pets while you are away from home. As a nurse for over 33 years, I have also had the privilege of seeing first-hand the impact animals have on a person's life. I will not only take care of all your pet needs, I will assure you and your family will enjoy time away knowing your pets are safe and happy. My current experience has been working with all animals including pregnant mommas, newborns, adults, disability needs, and hospice. I currently am a foster mom and have provided a safe loving environment until they find their forever homes. I have devoted my life caring for pets and do this on a full-time basis to provide and dedicate every moment I have to your pets needs. My home has a fenced in yard, area in my home for privacy and rest, and more love than any one pet could need. I will also do overnights at your home so your pets can feel comfortable in their own environment.
